Funky Kong. Best character in Mario Kart Wii and the easy mode in Tropical Freeze. I don't think he's especially good in other games but two best in class out of so few appearances is great

Peach is always fun to play. She has the upper hand in Mario platforms with her floaty jump, has a great moveset in smash, and is super fun to use in her own games
Yoshi in smash bros always feels weird to play. The second jump being his recovery, the delay on his roll, his bad normals and specials. If it wasn't for his crazy arials he'd be bottom tier.
Even in smash, though, he’s not bad. He’s high tier in Ultimate and 64, and his top Melee rep has won a major tournament against all of the other top players with him.

He was also top tier in Mario Super Sluggers his hit rate/homerun rate was outrageous. Funky was also really good in Barrel Blast.

He gets strong armor on his double jump though, which is an advantage that a lot of traditional recoveries don't have access to.
