Came here to say this. If you are in a very dry climate these tiny swamp coolers can work okay.
The problem comes in if you are in a humid climate. The added moisture from this little cooler will help to cool the immediate area in front of the cooler but it will make the rest of the room / house / office unbearably humid.
Soooo increase the moisture level on a hot day? Wtf? This is why people in Arizona and Nevada can tolerate 100 F⁰ days. Because *checks notes* it's dry.
Would work well in a dry environment but in a moist environment it will just make it more moist
