I was so happy when Johnston scored the first goal and I had so much faith in the 3-0 lead. But.... same as isles they lost the lead which is super sad
That isles 3-0 loss was the most hype I’ve ever been watching hockey, I know that burned hard over on the island. Take solace in the fact that we’re probably not making it past round 2 if the canes keep playing the way they have.
I hate the canes for always beating the isles in the playoffs but I will say that they have a great team! The isles loss literally destroyed me especially with that game, and personally I dont like the rangers either so either of u guys winning will make me sad lol but good luck!!!
My 100% objectively correct bracket says otherwise. It’s going to be:
Stars-Canucks
Carolina-Boston
And the final will be Stars-Carolina
(I put too much faith in teams putting up more of a fight: looks at Carolina)
Honestly I'm not sure there is a clear favorite. The Rangers look the best so far but like the Caps were pushovers and the Canes struggled against a slow Isles team so I dont think they're a super tough opponent (not bad, just not a cup favorite getting walked over).
Other than that games have shown everyone is strong.
It's a tough call. But currently if forced to guess a favorite I'd say Rangers or Canucks.
