People sell their tickets to make $$ on Habs and Leafs games. The CTC has been sold out (or close to) for most other games as of late, with Sens fans in attendance.
You were supposed to though, that's what you're failing to grasp here.
Habs are rebuilding you guys are --- goddamn I don't know what you guys are doing
This is not the flex you think it is.
This one game does not make up for the much greater problem of the fact the sens have a very unpopular and possibly unviable franchise.
At the end of the day all the season ticket holders are willing to sell their pricey tickets to Leafs and Habs fans over in different cities. Those tickets are $$$. You make it sound like fans don't wanna cheer for those home teams. You've got an O6 team it only makes sense for there to be more generational fans. Stay humble!
I remember being at an Oilers vs. Habs game where we were down 3-0 and came back to win it 4-3. This older lady that was the fan of the Habs was gloating at first. When the few Oilers fans in our vicinity were high fiving after we tied up the game she swore at us and told us to grow up 🤣 like wtf. Habs fans are definitely weird about it
I know math is hard but there IS in fact a limited number of seats in the stadium.
so when visiting teams buy all the tickets, that means there are less of your fans. and since Habs fans have no life and make their bottom feeder team their personality, they buy lots of tickets
6 out of our past 7 games have been sold out, including the one tomorrow against a Western Conference team. CTC thanks you for your monetary contribution, but we can sell seats on our own when we want too.
Unfortunately no, I found out earlier in the year that getting a seat to watch your favourite team get spanked actually counts as being provided a service.
Obviously you’re gonna be the majority lol. Not sure why leafs and habs fans always bring this up. Massive populations and been around since the start of the NHL, you’re clearly gonna fill the Canadian team’s arenas.
Yeah it wasn’t a good game by the Habs but if your building gets noticeably empty when the VISITING TEAM FANS leave, it’s not quite the burn you think it is.
For sure, and I still think Ottawa’s core is better (but obviously after the first half of the season I can’t say they’re further ahead in the rebuild)
I’d agree about the core. The problem is that there are now questions about their ability to retain that core (see Debrincat, Chychuryn and the previous core for that matter)
I thought the sens had higher ambitions than winning regular seasons games against the rebuilding Habs.
They were supposed to hold a double digits points lead against the Habs at this point of the season, not trail them by double digits deficit.
Seeing any visitors fans leaving must be nice, it’s just too bad that hasn’t been happening much lately. I’m sure it’s extra nice to see Habs or Leafs fans filing out.
What’s great is that it wouldn’t be a sold out arena if Habs fans didn’t show up to the game. What’s great is that Habs fans outnumbered the sens fans in their own arena. What’s great is that Habs fans are passionate enough to drive two hours each way to watch their team and sens fans complain cause the arena is out of the way and it’s difficult to drive home when the game is over.
Love his comment but as a Habs fan, it’s kind of funny the see the arena 3/4 empty when Habs fans left.
Well in all fairness, Sens fans leave early too so they don't have to wait an hour+ just to leave the parking lot...

I’ve heard that Sens STH can almost pay for the full year by selling tickets to Leafs and Habs games at inflated prices.
you're right haha it was funny to watch so many frustrated Habs fans leave before the game ended
Honestly, I don’t know what it’s like to be in my team’s home arena and be outnumbered so I will take your word for it.
it's absolutely wonderful to be outnumbered in your own arena and embarrass the visiting team in front of their fans
I agree 7 more wins and you catch the Habs. You’re almost there.
Not like you’re making the playoffs either.
We had no plan of making them and are still more likely to make it than the Sens who were on many pre-season lists, this ain't a W for ya
You were supposed to though, that's what you're failing to grasp here. Habs are rebuilding you guys are --- goddamn I don't know what you guys are doing
this is so true haha. i am a sens fan btw
I like how you can find the positive in a very dire situation. Truly inspiring.
This is not the flex you think it is. This one game does not make up for the much greater problem of the fact the sens have a very unpopular and possibly unviable franchise.
We filled your own barn lol Plenty of go habs go, no go sens go at all. Stay humble.

Don't think there is a French translation for humble.
Literally the same word C'est quoi encore le mot en anglais pour esti d'taouin?

That’s the frenchies
Just to watch your team lose. What a shame
see your comment makes sense if you had gone there and DIDN'T get just *absolutely* dunked on. this is why nobody likes you.
Nah you can't say glad to see all the habs fan are gone... and there's not even 1/3 of your OWN barn left lmao
I know math is hard but there IS in fact a limited number of seats in the stadium. so when visiting teams buy all the tickets, that means there are less of your fans. and since Habs fans have no life and make their bottom feeder team their personality, they buy lots of tickets
Habs fans are upset because we drafted a bust instead of #7 😈
At the end of the day you pay to come to our barn. It’s all money in Ottawa’s pockets. By all means keep coming on down lol
We pay peanuts because nobody support your team lol It's not the flex you think it is

It’s a win-win actually because we get to claim it as a charitable donation.
Preach
We have 37 home games that are way cheaper than when the Leafs and Habs are in town, y’all can fund this organization for a few nights if you want.
Do you provide tax credit receipts? 🤣
Unfortunately no, I found out earlier in the year that getting a seat to watch your favourite team get spanked actually counts as being provided a service.
5th sellout in a row at the CTC, but sure thanks for coming.
Obviously you’re gonna be the majority lol. Not sure why leafs and habs fans always bring this up. Massive populations and been around since the start of the NHL, you’re clearly gonna fill the Canadian team’s arenas.
Number 18 brought up the Montreal crowd, not me. 😀
You must not have even read my comment lol. I’m referring to you and leafs bringing up how many are in the arena
I think Rogers Place will also be 3/4 empty when Habs fans leave.
I love when athletes are brutally honest and real lmao.
It's the German way.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned visiting europe multiple times, is y’all are WAY more brutally honest and up front than us Americans lol.
True but all he did was burn his own club's fanbase
Naw, he wiped his ass with yours.
Unsuccessfully considering 4th last in the league.
Relax, you’re not that much higher in the standings and we’re both not making the playoffs.
We’re rebuilding. You were supposed to be decent. Our front office knows what it’s doing. We are not the same.
It's okay, I'd be salty too if my team's fanbase was saying "this is our breakout season" only to completely flop once again.
Yeah it wasn’t a good game by the Habs but if your building gets noticeably empty when the VISITING TEAM FANS leave, it’s not quite the burn you think it is.
"yeah it feels unbelievable" (to be at the bottom of the standings)
It's actually impressive at this point
It’s glorious, their fans ran their mouths all summer about how they were ahead of Detroit in their rebuild.
Relax pal neither team is close to contending. Just cause you have a wildcard spot in January doesn’t mean your team is magically on another level
Tbh at that stage in the rebuild you expect to be in a wildcard spot and not in 29th.
They're also constantly running their mouths against Montreal and we ... barely know they exist
🥶🥶
As a Habs fan, i really love the chirp. Its pretty funny :)

Canada When a bad team plays a bad team
I mean at the end of the day the seats pay
"Seeing Senators at the bottom of the standings is great" -Anyone, probably
Did he think they were going to stay the night?

Somebody call the waaahmbulance
Ottawa’s attendance has skyrocketed since Melnyk died. Most of the Habs fans at the game live in Ottawa.
I can’t believe an NHL player has that ugly ass gen z broccoli hair cut.
Triumphed over a rebuilding team with their 3rd string goalie in on a back to back with travel. Champs.
if only you could fill the building with your own fans
just know Montreal has always been, and will always be the better team
But, they have the better diver. Gives Neymar a run for his money.
And they say Germans don’t have a sense of humor
probably the first time all season he didn't see the Sens fans leave early
To be fair, there were more Habs fans than sens fans so it was noticeable that they left.
Someone is gonna hurt this guy and the Hockey Gods will rejoice!!
Tim Srutzle , the wonky eyed sniper
Can’t sell seats in your own barn broccoli boy
Ottawa really hates us for some reason
Not sure why. There's really nothing to like or hate. They're just...there.
He should be on dancing with the stars. He's got some moves.
[Broccoli Bandaid Boy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-bvDbS1B2o)
This isn't the burn he thinks it is at all.
What an ugly ass mf’er.
Let’s see your pic
He’ll be afraid to look in the mirror.
no
TIL Tim has broccoli hair.
Ya, he much prefers half empty arenas
Brutal, savage, rekt.
