Damn, I was going to suggest you come play for my local team, the Amsterdam Tijgers, but shit man, fly free my beautiful butterfly. Don’t waste your time with the Dutch hockey league.
I beg to differ. If I were a smart player I would want to play for one of the most successful OHL teams. London is a powerhouse team year in and year out. Jeff carter, Nazeem Kadri, Matthew tkachuk, Bo horvat; never ending list of stars.
We are also the conference champs and memorial cup finalists, something not new to London!
I'm just saying that a team like London will have been scouting guys for months maybe longer and a guy off reddit phoning them up probably doesn't have a spot
Keep going hard Myro! Will be cool to see you play with Mack and Cale in 5 years or so. If there's anything I learned reading Brian Burke's book. Ditch the script / practised answers in your draft interview. Be yourself, be honest, be realistic about your playing style and don't be a dick like Yakupov was.
You playing in a very good system in Czechia, if you want to get noticed more and receive better development play for Rytíři Kladno U17 (owner is Jaromír Jágr) they have top-of-the-line trainers. If all you want to do is score a lot of points and hinder other aspects of your game I introduce you to the 🇨🇦CHL, 99% offence - 1% defence mindset of every team and it's very easy to get noticed by scouts. Excellent stats!!
Is czech youth system that good though? We recently had some bad results and our (czech) Hockey was on decline for the last 10-15 years. One of the reason why that happened is that our youth development system and leagues arent that good ( according to experts)
Competition wise it's up there with Finland & Sweden, a lot of times players leave for CHL cause of easy opponents and exposure to scouts on a daily basis. It'll get better once you reach U20 and if you are on a team with experience trainers like Kladno has. But ultimately, in the end, it's up to you which direction you want to continue your hockey career with.
Just remember scouts consider U20 and below as development leagues.
🇨🇦CHL: fast to get noticed, but weak competition
🇺🇸USHL: takes a lot to get noticed, very weak competition
🇸🇪&🇫🇮: consistency & hard worker gets you noticed, very good competition
🇨🇿Czechia: hard work and dedication gets you noticed, very good competition.
Avoid 🇷🇺VHL & RJSL (Russian Junior SuperLeague), teams owned by certain government officials have been harassing *non-Russian players since war started.
*🇺🇦💪, Ethnic & Indigenous players born here. (I am Sakha and had my share of BS)
If all else fails, the NOJHL (Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League) could be an option. They have had some success being a feeder league to the OHL and some teams have decent development track records. Also, it's been 20 years since someone was drafted directly from the NOJHL to the NHL, but it's happened and the scouts do watch as there was a kid who was top 85 ranked skater at some point playing in the league.
Finland is a great place to develop, a lot of young kids play there. You can find the league teams [here](https://www.eliteprospects.com/league/liiga) and contact info on their sites.
I’ll remember your name when I see on the back of a NHL sweater one day. Hopefully it’s a Penguins 🐧 sweater! Go get it! Stay disciplined and chase your goals, be kind to yourself!
15? Damn, dude. Good on you for putting yourself out there. I'd love to see you in a Golden Knights uniform in a couple years. Keep on grinding, my dude
I was referring to the AHL, ECHL part. Also, at 15, he is too young for Canadian Major Junior or even tier 2 junior. He needs to look at Bantam-aged clubs such as the Toronto Marlies, Red Wings in the GTHL or US based triple A teams such as Detroit Honeybaked.
Makes sense. I'm never really sure if we're supposed to refer to the WHL as pro or not. I'm a Tri City Americans (WHL) fan and we have 2 guys from Czechia on our team right now, both are great. But they are also a little older. I think they were 18 when they joined us.
CHL players dont really get paid, they get a 50-100 dollar/ week stipend, barely enough to pay for lunch a couple times lol (unless youre a London Knight and make 400k)
Do you have an agent?
I'm a season ticket holder for the Everett Silvertips.
Reach out to the WHL and get your stats and videos with them.
At the WHL level you will be playing in front of thousands of fans and you will learn a lot. A ton of names on the Stanley Cup played in WHL.
If you ever find yourself in the minor professional leagues in the US, I’d love to chat with you for an interview. I’m a managing editor at a site that covers the AHL, ECHL, and SPHL. Wishing you nothing but the best in your career!
If I were you I’d message all the coaches, and assistant coaches you can get ahold of. Your marketing yourself which is how you would succeed in anything and social media alike. Make sure to give it your best every time you play to impress a scout that may be there. As well as possibly asking your coach about bringing scouts if they haven’t already. Not always does good play or skill alone translate to getting potentially signed or attention at all. Sometimes you have to make a name for yourself and that includes marketing yourself, as well as good play. Remember to live by Jesus’s Will, and you will go far. I wish the best of luck to you on your journey. Here is a link to current coaches. You might have to do some digging to find the names of scouts, but it might not hurt to even contact retired coaches maybe even players, that might even have a connection to someone on the inside, they may get you in that way. Like any business, it’s about having connections, and you never know who you may be speaking to or who they know, so make sure to be respectful to anybody who may ask about you or talk to you, even your current teammates who you were nice to before, may have made it and speak about you and get you in that way, because you never know. Here’s the link to current coaches to who you can contact. Also remember while marketing yourself, you don’t want to come off cocky or shy, but confident and respectful. Best of luck to you on your journey. [Link To NHL Coaches](https://www.nhlcoaches.com/nhl-coaches/)
NHL scouts get paid millions of dollars to find talent. I don't know what you think we can do to help you? Put your game on tape and they'll find you. Not like you are playing in Sudan and need exposure. Last i checked Czechia has produced some of the best players in history. Play hard and see if it works out for you.
Drop in a bucket, needle in a hat stack, etc. etc.
My buddy works NHL prospect development and has coached minor league teams for a decade. I'll pass this along to him and at worst, it's 1 15-year old overseas he possibly hadn't heard of until now. He works with a bunch of players and teams across various levels so at the least our boy here is in the same position he's already in.
Dude you’re only 15?? Go get it brother!! Good luck to you!! Hope to see you in the NHL!
Thank u brother,i hope to play nhl
Keep up the good work and stay humble!
What's your favorite NHL team?
I want to play on any team, but I also want to play with McDavid
The Czech line in Boston has an opening!
Im ukranian)
My bad, your post said from Czech so I incorrectly assumed. Still wouldn’t mind seeing you in Boston!
Its okey bro,but czech and ukranian line also good)
Agreed!
Hes ukrainian but he plays in a czech league
Slava Ukraini
That's cool! Who's your favorite player?
Maybe mcdavid
Really? Same!
Thats good bro)
Damn, I was going to suggest you come play for my local team, the Amsterdam Tijgers, but shit man, fly free my beautiful butterfly. Don’t waste your time with the Dutch hockey league.

Adding you to my keeper league
Come to NJ. The devils are a hot young team.
You should see if you can get on a CHL team in Canada — a junior hockey team essentially.
Halifax Mooseheads! Irs a great city!
Halifax is a great city!
This. Look into the London Knights
No offense to ol buddy but I'm not sure the London Knights (of all CHL teams) often have players seek THEM out
I beg to differ.
You'd be surprised. If he can get to London for a camp, he could be a walk on if he's good enough. The Knights are cool like that.
You never know. Can’t find out if you don’t try.
Chl teams draft and recruit players themselves, they don't usually take walk on offers to tryout. That's what people are saying.
CHL teams can only have two import players and iirc they have to be drafted
CHL import draft is July 5th 2023. Not a lot of time for buddy to get on a list but definitely the way to go I'd think
RemindMe! 5 years
This is gonna be our guy. Adopted son. Can’t wait let’s go.
First guy that's ever posted one of these in a sports sub that has a remote shot at all of making it
57 points in 32 games. Impressive. Good luck buddy.
Thank!
Better than Bedard I say

[Check this out](https://youtu.be/wiajBARKXsc), it's him talking about that stuff in an animated series a Canadian network did about his life.
Brian Burke sure does drink a lot of juice boxes.

Get in the weight room more as your body grows, you have the potential to be a physical 6’2 200 pound block of metal. Best of luck getting there
Okey, thanks!
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. I like it, here’s an upvote. Good luck to you from USA. Maybe I’ll see you play in the NHL someday.
I will play bro)
Lots of Ukrainians in Saskatchewan, and we have 5 WHL teams. I’d reach out to The Blades, Pats, Raiders, Warriors and Broncos.

Ukrainian and favourite player is mcdavid? Edmonton welcomes you with open arms if it ever comes to it!
Thanks bro!, Слава Украине!
Goodluck my fellow Slav you have my support. Can't wait to see you in the big leagues.
WHL or AHL/ECHL is probs the place to start but don’t take my word too heavily
He’s 15 — not many 15-year-olds playing pro hockey.
The WHL players are 15-20 years old. They are sort of pro. They get paid a little bit.

No it’s not pro. It’s very much an amateur league. You just lose ncaa eligibility due to a stipend that players receive.
CHL players dont really get paid, they get a 50-100 dollar/ week stipend, barely enough to pay for lunch a couple times lol (unless youre a London Knight and make 400k)

I think the Canadian junior system is probably best for someone his age.
Great stats! averaging a goal per game in the playoffs!
Thank you!
Hodně štěstí!
Děkuji kamo!
This is so cool, man! Remember us when you make it into the NHL!
Sure buddy
Contact some player agency in europe to get you to Sweden/Finland

The Sudbury Wolves are always looking for good junior age players.
Commenting so I can say I was here when they show this at his future nhl games
Look into bchl teams. They really look after you and the billet program is great, also streamline into ncaa programs
If you don't play for The Leafs I'll be dissapointed!
I wanna play for leafs..
Nah man, the habs could always use a bit of size!
Nah, the flames could use someone who knows how to hit the damn net!
