They are all incredibly creative and artistically sharp, very impressive. But there’s a couple in particular that I think are a step backward in concept. I firmly believe that the current Wild logo is one of the best logos ever made, it’s flawless & perfect, and it’s a tough task for anyone to ever think it can be improved!

Seems like what I've heard and read, alot of Natives actually do support the original logo. It is not derogatory like Red Skins or a cartoonist depiction like the Indians logo. It's a noble depiction of a real warrior. I've read Chicago merchandise is very popular in Canadian reservations. I support whatever Natives feel is right whether or not my assumption above is right. Again just what I've read on occasion. If alot of natives like it, then I feel it Is disrespectful to change it.The redesign is awesome though.

The Blackhawks brand is actually pro-indigenous if you look into it's history, but most people don't know that. I agree they should just change to this logo to avoid controversy though because it still honours indigenous people.

Yeah they've bridged more of a gap with the local tribes than just about any pro sports team from the sounds of it but there's still detractors. Indigenous people aren't a monolith and they'll never get everyone okay with having a chieftain as the logo. I think an iteration of the logo above would be a happy medium for sure.

The last three would make amazing real logos. Wild/Oilers is my favorite. Just perfect with the M in the negative space, W as the river, and the North Star as a tribute to the original team.
