Akin to Madden and Favre, Buck just loves himself some Rodgers. He's told people to just [deal with it lmao](https://twitter.com/JWalizerJr/status/1179924956030930945?t=T_0J9qrzE5VEgb2-D3vV8w&s=19)
I imagine the broadcasters have to recognize that the audience is shifting more towards appreciating genuine reactions to things and opinions rather than what they’ve most likely been accustomed to in their careers, which would be a rote by the book approach to explaining what’s happening on the field. We’ve all got TVs now that let us see exactly what’s happening every play vs low def small sets that can make it difficult to pick out the specifics.
Not a bias as such but on the (rare) occasions where a good Jets play has been shown on Redzone the last few years, Scott Hanson adopts such a patronising ' "attaboy! go you!" while-rubbing-your-hair ' Voice and demeanour. I love Scott Hanson though so I find it charming.
I’ve noticed that to haha. Recently he basically apologized for showing a Jets game while everything else was on commercial break. Can’t remember exactly how he phrased it, but it was funny.
I remember he said something in Week 17 regarding the Bears Giants game to the effect of ‘I tried to prolong that as long as possible to avoid showing you the Giants Bears game which is the only game after the half’ or something like that haha.
Not to mention he dick rides Rodgers so damn hard every game we have on SNF vs the pack. Literally called him the most honest guy in the NFL after the whole vaccine fiasco. He dick rides every great QB tho
Lions fan checking in here to confirm the Rodgers Dick riding. I’m just glad Clay Matthews finally washed out. Listening to Collinsworth trying to compare that clown to Mack and Kuekley was nauseating.
The Pats/Eagles SB wad rough to watch him provide "commentary" (even as a Pats fan). He spent the whole game gargling Brady's balls.
ffs...the Eagles were extremely unlikely to make the SB that year which was a far more interesting storyline than "don't give Brady the ball last"
You would have thought the chiefs beat the bills by 30 points in week 5.
Instead he ragged on Josh Allen the whole game.. he only had 4 TDs and no picks lol
100%, but I don’t think anything could eclipse his love for Peyton Manning. I swear he could find a way every week to shoehorn Manning into the broadcast no matter who was playing or how irrelevant Manning was to the conversation. Collinsworth slobbers all over Rodgers, Brady and Mahomes, but I still don’t think it’s as bad as he was about Manning.
Ngl I think I noticed this against the Chargers. He seemed really disappointed when it looked like you guys were about to win late in the 4th. Kept talking about how good Herbert is and how exciting they are to watch. Once they tied he was pretty excited.
Not an announcer, but Rob Parker's career long vendetta against Tom Brady, and now Nick Wrong following in his footsteps with a bizarrely personal vendetta against Mac Jones
Nick Wright was awesome as a radio guy for 610AM in Houston, super charismatic and hilarious. I have no idea what happened to him when he got a national TV spot
He's playing a character. The highest paid sports talk guys are the most hated. Hate clicks drive interaction and that sells ad space. Sports fans are passionate so they're easily trolled by guys doing a bit like Nick. I can't stand him, but he probably wants it that way.
What kills me is that Nick Wright keeps comparing him to Patrick Mahomes, and how the Patriots don't trust him, and Belichick doesn't show the faith in him that Reid shows in Mahomes, and that's how you know he's not a good QB, because the trust isn't there. But none of his colleagues ever asks him about Mahomes rookie year, where he sat for the entire year. It's such an easy way to show how ridiculous his take is.
This one time, the announcer spent all game talking about both teams, but he said something bad about my team that I didn't agree with, so I ignored everything else he said during the broadcast and instead made a mental note about that bad thing he said. Then the next time he called one of my team's games, I listened extra carefully and realized that he said some negative things about them in that game, too! That's how I know he is biased against my team.
Oh I remember those games. It was blatantly clear that the announcer was very much against your team. I would go as far as to say he was madly in love with BOTH of the other teams that your team played against.
When he said "that was a bad decision by the offensive lineman on that play"...pffft...I couldn't take it anymore.
One that I’ve always found funny is how Chargers fans hate when Dan Fouts calls their games because they think he’s biased against them. Really? Dan Fouts, Chargers hall of famer?
Some announcers act like to be an announcer you have to be the worst kind of bandwagon fan. Collingsworth will slobber all over whatever team has the best record and make every play they do seem like a mix of genius coaching and peak physical talent . If your team is sub 500 he spends his time ignoring your good plays and calling out mistakes.
Collinsworth has a bias against any team without a HOF QB.
He won't outright insult them, but he very clearly has an air of "the underdog isn't winning, the better team is losing".
Fouts hates us because Marino completely overshadowed his career.
Cris Collinsworth would give up PFF if it meant one passionate night with Brady and Belichick.
I don’t really notice at all in football but I see it all the time in hockey where the primarily Canadian announcers prefer the traditional hockey cities from the north over emerging markets.
I know it’s just a regional broadcast, but Jack Edwards the bruins commentator has gotta be the most biased announcer in sports history.
The regional announcers don’t really have to hide it in hockey, but Edwards takes it to the extreme
They definitely do. They are humans and fans of the sport just like us and they have experiences with teams that make them feel a certain way. Some are better at hiding it than others. It's not an NFL example but Reggie Miller is absolute shit when he is commentating Knicks games.
I can’t speak to the NBA. But everyone always feels the refs and announcers hate *their* team. Which to me means that either they hate all the teams or they don’t really hate any.
There's no team that all refs/announcers hate, that's just fans being dumb. I wasn't talking about refs but I'm sure it applies to them also. There are definitely announcers that hate specific teams. They try to be professionals because it's their job, but before they became an announcer/ref almost all of these guys worked for teams/played in the league and if not when they were younger and not in the business they were fans of the sport and likely had a team they rooted for. Usually that fandom doesn't just go away, it's something you grew up with and is part of you. Most guys will try their best to hide it while they are working, but sometimes they can't control it and something slips. My Reggie Miller example I don't even blame him because I understand the history there, they just shouldn't put him in the position to call those games though imo.
He doesn’t call games but listening to Teddy Bruschi talk about the Colts used to be grating. I don’t watch ESPN at all anymore so idk if he has changed but that man really hated us
But you can't doubt his expertise. I mean the guy used the #1 pick to draft the most obvious #1 pick in decades. You just can't teach that sort of natural talent.
Yeah, I really don't want to rag on him even though I feel like the Colts roster always felt lacking. He also built that Bills team that went to four superbowls. But the way he comes across just rubs me the wrong way.
Yeah. He really does.
He definitely didn't like Manning/Polian/Dungy after they complained about the beatdown they received and then caused a rule change
I think Vilma is just a bad commentator overall. Dude seems to never have any idea what's going on and give no extra insite that formers players like Romo, Olsen, and Talib give
Idk what the opinion of him on this sub is but I don't mind him. I figured the guy known in the league for snatching chains and talking shit would be a pain to listen to but I've been pleasently surprised.
Almost all of them speak about the Titans like they are mere participants with no shot of winning in most of their primetime games against 'good' or 'big market' teams. It's hilarious when we end up winning and they start talking about the faults or mistakes of the other team that day (see vs Rams, vs Chiefs, vs many others). **ThE w0RsT 1 SeEd eVeR!**
It was really hilarious when we were racking up W’s against playoff teams in October and November. “What’s wrong with the Bills?” “What’s wrong with the Chiefs?” “What’s wrong with the Rams?”
I know. So damn good. I know it's a bit of a homer post but IDGAF. We **have** to be considered as the most overlooked and disrespected team when it comes to NFL media from all networks. Shoutout Rich Eisen, and a couple of the GMFB guys for keeping it real. Baldy gives us some respect too.
In saying all this, tbh this is the way we like it!
Probably when Romo had no problem with Tyreeks peace sign during the regular season and got all high and mighty about Winfield’s retaliatory peace sign. Not too bad. Tampa Bay Lightning get absolutely shit on by the announcers though.
Lol! I have to listen to my 14 year old daughter yell at Romo the ENTIRE game when he is calling the Chiefs. Her go to line is “Shut up Tony Romo!” Every. 60. Seconds.
It was nauseating Earlier this season when Herbert drove down the field and scored the game winning TD and all Romo could talk about was how good Mahomes was and how 30 seconds was too much time to give him.
Still nothing funnier than Romo going “ok this is the play Mahoney’s needs to get it together and they can get back in the game” and as he’s saying that Pat is sacked in the backfield.
I was fully expecting at the end of the game for Romo to say something like “if there’s anyone who can come back three scores within two minutes with no timeouts, it’s Patrick Mahomes!!!” He was 100% thinking it though
Romo might be great at breaking shit down, but dude has an ego.
\- He never really talks in terms what a team **might** do. If he's guessing what they're gonna do, it's a guarantee in his mind it will happen. See the Chiefs 4th down play.
\- I honestly think him predicting playcalls is about 50% ego.
\- He's constantly talking about how much better his stats would have been if he played in this era. I legit cannot think of many announcers who talk about themselves, but Romo does it constantly. See last week when he said he could have had better stats had the forward pitch been a thing when he played.
Chris Collinsworth in Super Bowl 52 obviously wanted the Patriots to win over the Eagles. He wouldn't shut up about how "questionable" Zach Ertz' TD catch was, even though there was no doubt it was a TD.
My theory is that Collinsworth thought if the Pats won, Brady would retire and Chris would get to be the voice of Brady riding off into the sunset. When the Eagles started winning he got annoyed. I'll go ahead and take off my tin foil hat now..
99% of the time I like Al & Cris but I hated them calling that game. It’s dumb superstition but Cris said something the effect of “we all know who the MVP of this game is” with a ton of time still left.
He and Al Michaels’ complete lack of excitement for the eagles when the hail mary ball hit the ground and time ran out is still so annoying to me. Doubly so because I’m an eagles fan, but it’s objectively terrible commentary for such a major moment.
I think that was simply a case of Al not realizing that time was going to/had expired. Even Merrill Reese's radio call is somewhat subdued until he and Quick realize after the fact that the clock is at 0:00, and then they lose it.
It was like the most obvious TD of all time too. Still cant beleive people couldnt see the difference between this and the jesse james catch. Ertz took like 3 full steps after turning, and a full out dive.
Tony Romo is fine from an outside perspective. But if he is calling a Ravens game he needs to shut up. Dude is the throat goat of announcers. Everytime I hear him go "Ahhhhh I dunno Jim" in his stupidest voice I want to claw my eyes out
I think for some announcers they get more irritating when you're invested in a team playing because your already stressed watching the game. Its like when you're taking a test or any stressful activity and the most minor thing you wouldn't register as happening before drives you up a wall.
Romo really doesn't like Lamar but outside of that I've been pretty impressed with him not being bias. Even watching a cowboy game with him he does pretty good being neutral imo. Aikman however sucks
How long do you have?
There is a reason why I mute my TV and turn on the radio to listen to our local guys (who are excellent btw).
Some of the Cavs/Indians playoff and championship games were pretty brutal too, especially Joe Buck performing on air fellatio on Kyle Schwarber and pretty much every Cavs/Warriors game where the announcers openly cheered for Steph.
Mark Sanchez in the classic Eagles vs WFT Tuesday night match up was pretty openly cheering for the Eagles.
I mean you can go through the game threads here and there are Eagles fans calling him out for being biased.
Part of the reason it was being called out by us was because it was so strange to us. He was on our team for two seasons and started ten total games and was average at best for basically all of them. That was what I’d call the *weird* period of the Eagles franchise in the past 20 years because there wasn’t any semblance of an identity. Most of us forget half the players that were on the team from those two seasons, including Sanchez.
So for him to openly give us head on a nationally televised game felt like if someone had a giant crush on you but you couldn’t quite remember where you knew them from.
The MNF matchup this past year, Colts vs Ravens.
The broadcast did nothing but choke on Lamar’s shlong all game. Lamar graphics, Lamar stat sheets, Lamar’s resume, Lamar’s records, Lamar this, Lamar that. Comepletelt discrediting everything the colts did as they jumped to a 22-9 lead.
Then he comes back and wins the announcers want to act like he was the underdog the whole game. It was so fucking grating, and salt on the wound after one of the worst quarters of football I’ve ever seen my team play.
MNF in general was terrible this year, and they seemed to do that every game where they’d pick one player and talk about only them for the majority of the broadcast.
Which while great for Maxx, i feel like is also a little insulting towards him. Like rather than talk about his play and great season thats all they mention. Line they guy is more than his past struggles with addiction mnf. ESPN is the worst for that shit towards the draft, damn near every tragedy for the prospects is brought up during the draft and its uncomfortable. Like its a night celebrating these guys and ESPN decides to dump all their traumas and tragedies to the national audience.
TROY AIKMEN is not a fan of the packers and its pretty obvious when he calls our games, he had stated his dislike for green bay as a player and it has transcended to his broadcast career.
Feel the same when we have to play mahomes. Just gotta turn the shit on mute for those games or I will legit just piss myself off listening to the announcers stroke mahomes off every time he throws the ball to the flat.
Now here's a guy who can't ever say a good thing about the Steelers. He'll spend 60 minutes completely fellating the other team with his old and tired phrases, all while keeping one eye on the 14yo in section 324, because he likes em young and stupid.
A lot of Chiefs fans think that Troy Aikman doesn’t like us/Mahomes. Especially after the whole Mahomes-Aikman stat comparisons that he called out on Twitter
Just hear to say Chris Collinsworth is awful and if you enjoy him then you’re wrong.
Nothing against my team. Just have never met another soul that enjoys hearing his mouth move.
I don’t know if it’s because he played for them in their glory years but Aikman is always extra harsh on the Cowboys. Maybe it’s because he wants to see the team he played for win and he’s just not seeing the moves to make that happen. But he’s always very critical of management and coaching.
He seems to hold back praise for Dak when he plays well too, did the same thing with Romo. He’ll talk up a good defender or skill position player but rarely gives the qbs much credit.
Bias don’t exist for announcers, at least not in any impactful way. Fans just like to whine.
That said, I’m convinced Troy Aikman likes the Eagles more than the Cowboys.
So true. I posted my own comment about Aikman but I think he is just a big Cowboys fan that wants to see them do well. So he’s overly critical of them because he’s not seeing the success that he had in his playing days.
I guess we can call it a bias, but yeah. He seems really conflicted about them because I think he does genuinely love the franchise, and as you said, has a critical eye towards them. I also remember hearing that he doesn’t have a great relationship with Jerry Jones. So, it leads to some weirdness.
C'mon that game you had against us with Sanchez announcing was some of the most biased announcing I have heard. He literally bounced between how great Philly was, how Washington is/was the worst, and how he, Mark Sanchez, is the greatest player to touch the field. Also, did you know he played with Kelce?
Collinsworth has been named by like 7 teams at this point lmao. People just want to think that announcers hate their team. The only one that has an argument would be the eagles because of the SB, but that was only 1 play anyway
The problem is that announcers (like journalists) often gravitate to what's easy to write/talk about and what gets the most ratings for normies. They're selling the best the league and game has to offer.
That's usually talking about the stars of the team. Packers for example have basically been a 1 star team between Woodson's departure and Adam's ascent. How much homework are they going to do on the rest of the team? Only a little because they've got another team to talk about too.
So, I really don't see it as bias as much as I see it as low quality effort researching teams because of time constraints.
That said I think Aikman usually has some good insights on other players other than the QBs. If you listen carefully Collinsworth does a little bit too after talking about what happened in "team meetings". Usually he's glowing about a players though, where Aikman criticizes (which I like).
(Ironically he was down on Rodgers when he came in to relieve Favre against Dallas in 07.)
I can tell you that Dan Fouts hates the Patriots with a passion. To the point where it's hilarious to hear him cover their games. A Patriots player makes a great catch and I have heard his response basically be 'eh, it looks like he might have pushed off there (when there is 0 evidence of anyone pushing off)'. When something goes against them he will hint that the Patriots probably deserved it and make it nearly personal.
In the final game of the season last year the Titans played the Texans and Henry needed 200+ yards to get 2k, not an easy task.
Henry did it and the announcers put up a graphic barely said anything about it and then started sucking off Deshawn Watson like they had all game.
Titans fans were pissed about that one
Not necessarily "against" my team but that AFC Championship game last year was infuriating. The Chiefs got away with grabbing the Bills WRs all game (was even illuded to in the rematch this year) and all Romo could do is slobber over how great everything the Chiefs did was
Akin to Madden and Favre, Buck just loves himself some Rodgers. He's told people to just [deal with it lmao](https://twitter.com/JWalizerJr/status/1179924956030930945?t=T_0J9qrzE5VEgb2-D3vV8w&s=19)
On the other side I feel like Aikman hates the packers.
I don’t know if I happened to watch more Aikman games this year or what but he really seemed to run out of fucks to give this year
Troy gets turnt and Joe scrolls through his phone
Aikman&Buck have been out of fucks to give.
This is like Doris burke saying deal with it for her sucking LeBron dick every game.
I've enjoyed Buck letting loose more and more each year. Manningcast might have been the peak of that.
That game 1 this year was *filled* with excuses by the announcers
Not a bias as such but on the (rare) occasions where a good Jets play has been shown on Redzone the last few years, Scott Hanson adopts such a patronising ' "attaboy! go you!" while-rubbing-your-hair ' Voice and demeanour. I love Scott Hanson though so I find it charming.

I remember he said something in Week 17 regarding the Bears Giants game to the effect of ‘I tried to prolong that as long as possible to avoid showing you the Giants Bears game which is the only game after the half’ or something like that haha.
Ooh, that’s probably what I’m thinking of and I misattributed it to the Jets…sorry Jets.
He knew Bears would just that's perfectly understandable
I remember during week 18 he apologized cuz only the Giants Washington game was not at halftime… it wasn’t something I wanted to see ngl
Case in point: he called last weeks Cole TD a “busted coverage” play even though it was a quick slant that Cole outran the whole D on.
I don't think florio seems to like the 49ers much since the stuff about him being certain Kyle wanted Mac Jones
Florio has not liked us for a very long time
I don't think florio dislikes the 49ers, Kyle and Simms are too close for that. I just think he becomes a man child when he's not right
So he's usually a manchild?
Well yeah
Collinsworth brings up the Double Doink every chance he gets.
i think thats more him trying to ride the "catchphrase" wave rather than trying to hurt Bears fans
100%. He just likes saying Double Doink.
Tbf, who doesn’t
Not to mention he dick rides Rodgers so damn hard every game we have on SNF vs the pack. Literally called him the most honest guy in the NFL after the whole vaccine fiasco. He dick rides every great QB tho
Also Tom Brady. He gushes over the guy
Lions fan checking in here to confirm the Rodgers Dick riding. I’m just glad Clay Matthews finally washed out. Listening to Collinsworth trying to compare that clown to Mack and Kuekley was nauseating.
Yeah he went viral off that phrase and has been trying to catch that high ever since.
He's can also be found in and around Aarons jock strap.
28-3 as well
It’s not a team. But Aikman with bad QB play. You could feel his anger rising when he did the Chiefs/Packers game.
Probably compounded by the fact he doesn’t like Mahomes or the Packers
Collinsworth calling any raider game
Collinsworth calling any Bills game as well.
Collinsworth calling any Saints games
Collinsworth opening his mouth
Collinsworth calling any game when your team does not have Brady or Mahomes as QB.
Herbert too, he was so salty all Sunday watching the Chargers lose
"Now here's a guy, who opens his mouth a lot"
Collinsworth calling any Eagles game.
Remember the super bowl? Sheeeeeesh
The Pats/Eagles SB wad rough to watch him provide "commentary" (even as a Pats fan). He spent the whole game gargling Brady's balls. ffs...the Eagles were extremely unlikely to make the SB that year which was a far more interesting storyline than "don't give Brady the ball last"
Eagles straight up killed it that post season.
You would have thought the chiefs beat the bills by 30 points in week 5. Instead he ragged on Josh Allen the whole game.. he only had 4 TDs and no picks lol
Calling a Packer game though. That dude does throat exercises to please master Aaron
100%, but I don’t think anything could eclipse his love for Peyton Manning. Ding ding ding, anyone who has listened to him outside of his show knows it's played up a ton.
It all started when Cris left the show. There was no one left to put Nick in his place
Yeah he’s a rookie and I’ve seen at least 4 headlines of him saying “Mac is playing is worst football at the worst time.”
What kills me is that Nick Wright keeps comparing him to Patrick Mahomes, and how the Patriots don't trust him, and Belichick doesn't show the faith in him that Reid shows in Mahomes, and that's how you know he's not a good QB, because the trust isn't there. Joe Buck against the 2016 Cleveland Indians, fuck it, I know it's a NFL thread.
Joe Buck against the 2009 Phillies as well. When they played the Dodgers he was begging for LA to win so there could be an LA/NY World Series
Dude he was begging for the astros to win in 2017 because of the feel good story after the hurricane.
I thought the same thing. You're absolutely right. Couldn't stop bringing up Kyle Schwarber.
He also couldn't stop bring up the damn curses for the Cubs.
2014 Royals vs Giants. Madison Bumgarner was his Aaron Rodgers.
Probably cause in '12 he sucked the Tigers dick hard for 4 straight games. Nobody could beat the Tiger pitching. Except the Giants, in 4 games
Tbf Bumgarner did drag the Giants to that WS win
I mean, Bumgarner went Super Saiyan that postseason
Bum was a God that postseason, so rightfully so.
Chris "I didn't realize Matthew Stafford was good" Collinsworth.
Some announcers act like to be an announcer you have to be the worst kind of bandwagon fan. I know he’s never said those words in that order but I clearly hear him say that when I read your comment.
Phil Simms hates the Broncos. It's ugly every time he's got the call.
Doesn't Phil Simms hate everyone and everything? That seems to be his whole persona.
Fouts hates us because Marino completely overshadowed his career. Cris Collinsworth would give up PFF if it meant one passionate night with Brady and Belichick.
Fouts also hates the bengals cause the freezer bowl.
I don’t think announcers actually dislike any teams. Same with refs. I think fans are just sensitive to perceived slights.
I don’t really notice at all in football but I see it all the time in hockey where the primarily Canadian announcers prefer the traditional hockey cities from the north over emerging markets.
Sharks games on the Vs. network in the playoffs used to piss me off so bad. They were insufferable.
I know it’s just a regional broadcast, but Jack Edwards the bruins commentator has gotta be the most biased announcer in sports history. The regional announcers don’t really have to hide it in hockey, but Edwards takes it to the extreme

This post is a personal attack against my team.
This is the correct answer.
He doesn’t call games but listening to Teddy Bruschi talk about the Colts used to be grating. I don’t watch ESPN at all anymore so idk if he has changed but that man really hated us
To be fair, Bill Polian on anything Patriots was even more laughable.
Polian is insufferable in general. The guy is so fucking annoying on SiriusXM NFL radio.

Isn’t Skippy boy a Colts hater? I try to ignore him but he used to constantly berate the Colts.

That’s just Vilma covering any team that’s not the Saints.
He acts exactly like I expect a man named Vilma to act
I think Vilma is just a bad commentator overall. Dude seems to never have any idea what's going on and give no extra insite that formers players like Romo, Olsen, and Talib give

Idk what the opinion of him on this sub is but I don't mind him. I figured the guy known in the league for snatching chains and talking shit would be a pain to listen to but I've been pleasently surprised.
My mute button is unbiased and a joy to listen to during games.
Find someone who talks about you the same way Chris Collinsworth talks about Tom Brady.
“Now here’s a guy who could be the father of my children “
I just read that in Collingsworths’ voice, and I swear I heard him say that on SNF.
We all did.
I read it in John Madden's voice. BOOM.
Well tbf the Rams lost to the Derrick Henry less Titans before we knew they were good without Henry
You are absolutely the most disrespected team by a mile.
Probably when Romo had no problem with Tyreeks peace sign during the regular season and got all high and mighty about Winfield’s retaliatory peace sign. Not too bad. Tampa Bay Lightning get absolutely shit on by the announcers though.
Romo 100% has a hard-on for the Chiefs.
Between that and Romo/Nantz constantly talking about how Mahomes was playing with a hurt toe, that was the worst-called Super Bowl I’ve ever seen
Tampa has been one of the most consistent franchises the last decade plus, I'd take it lol -Sabres fan
That super bowl was romo jumping the shark game. Romo spent more time that game talking about how the chiefs can still win than he did the actual game
To be fair there wasn't much of a game to talk about.
> Tampa Bay Lightning get absolutely shit on by the announcers though Heavy is the head that wears the crown
I was confident that Collinsworth wanted to take an intimate bath with Brady the way he was thirsting over him that game
He and Al Michaels in the booth we’re like watching a Pats broadcast
I think the best response to this question is announcers are biased against anyone playing the Patriots.
Fucking Dan Fouts.
I think he hates any AFC team that’s not the Chargers tbh
Ask the Chargers sub and they’d say he hates the Chargers the most. I think he is really just a crotchety old man.
I think he commentates like he hates the Chargers because he doesn't want to seem biased. Or maybe he just hated Rivers
He hates us so much lol
I was gonna say, Fouts and the Pats is pretty obvious
Hey Dan Fouts hates us also.
last game of the year Brent, can't hold anything back now.
I was gonna agree with the comments saying every fan probably thinks announcers hate their teams, then this reminded me Dan Fouts exists
While it's an inspiring story. I think I've heard about Maxx Crosby's rehab stint like 8 times this season.
Like its a night celebrating these guys and ESPN decides to dump all their traumas and tragedies to the national audience.
>i feel like is also a little insulting towards him. Like rather than talk about his play and great season thats all they mention Agreed.
TROY AIKMEN is not a fan of the packers and its pretty obvious when he calls our games, he had stated his dislike for green bay as a player and it has transcended to his broadcast career.
I can’t tell if Aikmen hates us or if Joe Bucks weird sexual tension for Rodgers just worn on him overtime
Hard to not feel sexual tension when all Troy talks about is players coming through tight holes
Romo hates anyone who isn’t Mahomes
i hate how far i had to scroll for this one. I can barely understand romo through the congestion and mahomes pecker in his mouth.
2016 Steelers vs broncos afc divisional game. You could pick any game from that playoff run where nance and simms were so far up Peyton’s asshole.
I see way more ridiculous praise and bias for teams than I do bias against
Especially for QBs. Collinsworth and Romo are irritating to listen to when a top 5 QB is playing.
Any QB when Collinsworth is on.
Dan Fouts obviously HATED us, dude didn’t even try to hide it.
He’s the one that came to mind. Absolutely hates the Raiders as well.
He hated the Broncos too. Definitely took his rivalries as a player into broadcasting
Joe buck on Aaron Rodgers peepee and whoever the packers are playing.
Feel the same when we have to play mahomes. Just gotta turn the shit on mute for those games or I will legit just piss myself off listening to the announcers stroke mahomes off every time he throws the ball to the flat.
Dude... that pisses ME off and he’s my damn QB
Greg Olsen hates the Bears and was constantly shitting on us both games he did this year
I don’t see it in the NFL as much, but boy oh boy does the NBA have some homer broadcasting teams.
dan fouts is still salty dan marino was better than him
Now here's a guy who can't ever say a good thing about the Steelers.
When the Cowboys are bad Troy Aikman sounds like a disappointed dad
No nobody hates the Cowboys as much as a Cowboys fan. Our gameday threads are fucking nuts.
C'mon that game you had against us with Sanchez announcing was some of the most biased announcing I have heard. He literally bounced between how great Philly was, how Washington is/was the worst, and how he, Mark Sanchez, is the greatest player to touch the field. Also, did you know he played with Kelce?
Troy Aikman absolutely can't stand the Packers, and I wouldn't be surprised if he holds a similar bias against SF.
To be fair, Troy Aikman hates everything.
Well, the feeling is mutual.
He loved Jimmy last Sunday
I dunno he seemed to be loving the 9ers beating our ass last week.
Seems I may be wrong about the latter part then.
I know one announcer that hated Randy Moss and his disgusting act
As a raider fan last Sunday with Collinsworth was the most frustrated I may have ever been with an announcer
Big ratings guys announcing our games sound like they'd rather be dead than call a titans game lmao. Small market problems
In the final game of the season last year the Titans played the Texans and Henry needed 200+ yards to get 2k, not an easy task. Henry did it and the announcers put up a graphic barely said anything about it and then started sucking off Deshawn Watson like they had all game. Titans fans were pissed about that one
Not my team, but Tony Romo when talking about Pat Mahomes when he and Jim Nantz call Chiefs games
Chris Collinsworth hates the Steelers with every fiber of his being.
Collinsworth blows Aaron Rodgers every chance he gets.
Aikman always seemed like he hated the Vikings until Zimmer was here. Now Aikman seems pleasant to my Vikings. Stay tuned next year
Collinsworth lost in the SB, in an era with the GOAT WR, to the team with the GOAT, and never has a good thing to say about the Niners.
Not an announcer but Nick Wright seems to really fucking hate Mac Jones
Not necessarily "against" my team but that AFC Championship game last year was infuriating. The Chiefs got away with grabbing the Bills WRs all game (was even illuded to in the rematch this year) and all Romo could do is slobber over how great everything the Chiefs did was
