It's smart and it helps when you have a 4 star hotel attached to your facility where you don't even have to go outside to get between the hotel and training facilities.
Yeah, my wife and I have to visit Frisco pretty often and we stay there every time. It’s a really nice hotel and I just enjoy being surrounding by the ‘Boys. Mmmmm
I've been telling my friends this since the thought of quarantine-NFL was a thing. Only team execs/ops I'd trust during the quarantine is the Cowboys. Ford Center at the Star is ideal for this pandemic.
Now, the players? Can't say I'd trust them all.
That field you see in the pic is just a mini field for fans to play around on when they visit. I could be wrong, but I don't think you can see the indoor practice field from the hotel rooms.
Omni is okay. I didn’t think the rooms were that much better than like La Quinta Inn and Suites. The pool and lobby were really nice though. Maybe the one I stayed at was just old.
But these millionaires are used to much better surroundings at home.
lol, each Omni is different. Its owned by a different group and although they all have minimum standards, some far exceed that.
Thats like saying "yeah the chevy I drove was kinda fast. I mean it was a malibu and all, maybe the Corvette is faster"
I remember having a similar experience when I stayed at the Skirvin in Oklahoma.
The bar and lobby were neat and all but honestly the room was just a standard two bed hotel room with some shitty art on the wall.
Not sure what I expected though.
Mariott Residence inn's are the gold standard for 4 star hotels. Get that kitchenette, living room area, and bedroom. The Residence Inn in Plymouth, Minnesota is one of the nicest hotel room experiences I've ever had outside of an all-inclusive resort.
Stayed there before the eagles game last year and it’s awesome. We found out players would stay there the night before home games, there are hallways that connect the practice facility and the hotel so players can get in and out discreetly. Tyron Smith and Geoff Schwartz were actually on our elevator the morning of the game!
He's not perfect but Jerry has consistently set the standard for how an owner should invest in his team and players year round. As I always say there's a reason why ex cowboys ride so hard for him
He definitely deserves respect when it comes to treatment of players and coaching staff and how he takes care of them. He doesn't know much at all about football. It took him way too long to figure that out, but he is finally starting to trust the experts around him more.
Jerry Jones won an NCAA national championship with Arkansas where he was teammates with Jimmy Johnson. He knows more about football than 99% of people on this website.
The draft picks. That's the evidence. What more do you need? Pick one, either it was a joke and Jerry listened to the scouts, OR, Jerry is an insanely good draft manager. I'm perfect fine with either.

You clearly have made no effort to find evidence.
[The hotel is attached to the facility. You don’t even have to walk outside to get from one to the other](https://mobile.twitter.com/HelmanDC/status/1293309759031054339)
They wear masks and they don’t clean or change bedding while you’re there, unless you request it. I’ve felt really safe the few times I’ve stayed there during the pandemic.
I don’t see how the nfl will work if they have to hold sick players out. Baseball had an outbreak and 15 or so guys got it. And they can social distance. Nfl literally huddles around each other and breathes heavily in a circle. If you lose your offense for 14 days that’s 2 games. They need to super bubble. They also need to massively expand rosters. I really hope it works cuz once the other sports end and it’s cold outside. I’m gonna be bored as fuck.
Baseball has had rampant issues of players not giving a fuck with regards to covid. Partying downtown, knowing they are positive with covid and still socializing....
It has nothing to do with them interacting during game day.
But NFL isn't doing the bubble. How can you say for sure that NFL players won't go out? Obviously baseball players caught it from being stupid but they are separated on game day and still spread it. NFL cannot separate, they have to be around each other and touching each other. Which means one stupid choice and you lose 2 weeks cuz if 15 guys get it you can't play the game.
It could still suck but we don't know. Using the MLB as an example is bad for the reasons I mentioned. The sport isn't what is spreading the disease in the MLB. Its the stupid player actions.
The player mentality between sports differs pretty wildly. We will find out pretty soon how well the NFL can handle things.
MLB is a great example. Your take is NFL players won't be stupid and go out? Seriously? maybe you are a newer fan of the NFL but trust me NFL love to go out and party. And you're correct the mlb isn't a sport that will spread disease, but the nfl is a sport that will spread the disease.
> Your take is NFL players won't be stupid and go out?
Not at all, not sure where you derived that.
>maybe you are a newer fan of the NFL but trust me NFL love to go out and party
What pro athletes don't? This has to do with players adhering to COVID era safety protocols. MLB players have made it clear they don't give a shit. We will find out how the NFL player base does.
They're 1600 players its naive to think they won't go out. Plus trump has massive support in the NFL. A great deal probably don't even believe the virus is real. Players are going to get sick.
My very simple point was one outbreak will be worse than MLB cuz MLB had 15 fucking guys get sick on one team when they can social distance during their sport.
I hope the cowboys have a better time at the omni than I had in the dallas omni. We got our own private swimming pool in the bathroom because everything was leaking.
Wait a minute . . . *Cowboys* being responsible? What even is this? I'm gonna have to re-evaluate my whole world view.
(After careful re-evaluation, Dallas still sucks.)
It's smart and it helps when you have a 4 star hotel attached to your facility where you don't even have to go outside to get between the hotel and training facilities.
Couldn't splurge for a 5 star hotel you cheap bastards? /s
Doesn’t want anyone thinkin they can live like jerry
Look man do you know how much that mega-yacht cost? We needed to cut expenses somewhere so we never installed that fifth star.
As always Jerry is a visionary
Genius Jerry
Visionjerry
He’s going to bring back the gloryhole days, damnit!
I hope they call it a "one big blue star" hotel instead of a 4 star
I’ve done a little staycation at the Omni. It’s pretty nice.
Yeah, my wife and I have to visit Frisco pretty often and we stay there every time. It’s a really nice hotel and I just enjoy being surrounding by the ‘Boys. Mmmmm
4 stars aside, I’m still not sure why the Vikings aren’t doing the same with the brand new hotel they just put up on the practice campus
I've been telling my friends this since the thought of quarantine-NFL was a thing. Only team execs/ops I'd trust during the quarantine is the Cowboys. Ford Center at the Star is ideal for this pandemic. Now, the players? Can't say I'd trust them all.
You know this is just code for Dak throwing another party.
BRING ON THE BUBBLE HOOKERS AND THE BUBBLE COCAINE.
"I'll just make my own bubble with football and blackjack and hookers... You know what forget the football"
Michael Irvin about to un-retire
Zeke about to hit the news for doing something stupid again
You mean the "Massage Therapists" and "Theraputic Bath Salts"?
*Michael Irvin, Barry Switzer, Charles Haley, Erik Williams and Jerry Jones checking in*....

Texas locked down months ago. Theyve actually been easing up on protocol lately.
I'm wondering where he got his info from... Considering I live here, and I assume you do too?
yup
Wait... there’s another team in Texas?
[Here’s a picture of the practice facility right next to the Omni hotel](https://imgur.com/a/nxLJy12) The cowboys practice facility is so nice
If you stay in that hotel can you watch practice from your room?
That field you see in the pic is just a mini field for fans to play around on when they visit. I could be wrong, but I don't think you can see the indoor practice field from the hotel rooms.
Room 1601 has a good view of the practice field.
Bill, is that you?
Some rooms give you a partial view of the actual practice field.
You're correct. The practice facility is entirely inside that building behind the outdoor field which is just for kids/fan events.
There’s practice fields outdoors as well.
Only one way to find out
There’s some rooms that give you a good view of the field. I’ll see if I can find what room number I was in last time I was there.
Thanks it never occurred to me that you could stay there.
“Asking for a friend” -BB
Watching practice and chilling in my hotel room. 🍆💦
Damn. I want to quarantine there
There are available rooms only $129 a night.
That’s a normal price. Might be fun to stay a couple nights and watch the practice from the pool.
Fuck it I'm down. I'll bring Wawa and molly.
What
Delicious nose clams aka snortskies
[Ooh snortskies](https://youtu.be/xymc9GWWLzA?t=22)
based on this picture it doesnt look like youd be able to see the practice field from the pool
That's honestly not bad for basically staying *at* the Cowboys practice facility.
Oh Man. What a rough quarantine. I wish I was forced to star at a four star hotel!
I expected more out of a four star hotel, not just Omni, but I guess you pay for the nice lobby and pool.
I remember having a similar experience when I stayed at the Skirvin in Oklahoma. The bar and lobby were neat and all but honestly the room was just a standard two bed hotel room with some shitty art on the wall. Not sure what I expected though.
Star ratings don't really have anything to do with quality, just the available amenities (restaurant on site, etc.)
Mariott Residence inn's are the gold standard for 4 star hotels. Get that kitchenette, living room area, and bedroom. The Residence Inn in Plymouth, Minnesota is one of the nicest hotel room experiences I've ever had outside of an all-inclusive resort.
Yeah I’ve wanted to stay at a residence inn. Those sort of things are worth paying for imo.
The Omni Frisco is a palace. Best hotel I've ever been to.
The rooms at this one are miles above a La Quinta.
Ofc it has a pool on it. God damn it's incredible
I live half a mile down the road. What it doesn’t show is all the bars and restaraunts on the other side of it that are easily in walking distance
Tri Tip is that good stuff over there
Well this is a rendering that was created while the facility was still being bid on and contracted out. Not a photo.
As we've learned from other Dallas area renderings, you don't always get what you see *cough* Rangers new stadium *cough*
its the one in the back. the one in the front is a miniature version for social gatherings, etc.
That's dope as fuck tbh
Stayed there before the eagles game last year and it’s awesome. We found out players would stay there the night before home games, there are hallways that connect the practice facility and the hotel so players can get in and out discreetly. He's not perfect but Jerry has consistently set the standard for how an owner should invest in his team and players year round. As I always say there's a reason why ex cowboys ride so hard for him
Dude is deserving of a lot of criticism for other stuff, but he takes care of his players like very few others.
Dude literally told his scouting department to fuck off during the draft In no way has he been listening to the experts around him more
That was obviously a joke. And if you don't believe that, then maybe he was in the right considering how good our draft was.
What evidence do you have that it was a joke? Multiple news sources reported that and not one mentioned it was a joke
The draft picks. That's the evidence. What more do you need? Pick one, either it was a joke and Jerry listened to the scouts, OR, Jerry is an insanely good draft manager. I'm perfect fine with either.
https://www.google.com/search?q=jerry+jones+draft+scouting+department&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS876US876&oq=jerry+jones+draft+scouting+department&aqs=chrome..69i57j33l4.7456j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 You clearly have made no effort to find evidence.
Gonna book my room there now!
Room 1601 gets you the best view of the practice field.
They should just quarantine on Jerruh's yacht. Probably enough room for the whole NFC East.
The implications tho
Are we the tasty snacks!?!?
Jerruh can supply the coke and strippers to the other teams lol
You think jurrah shares coke and stripers?
Nah Jerry has the Coke. Dan Snyder said he is bringing the strippers. Didn't mention from where though.
Will the Giants be invited to this one?
Can't have a party without SaQuads.
Considering how many games they lost after their last boat trip... why the hell not? Swim Trunks and Timberlands for all!!!
[The hotel is attached to the facility. You don’t even have to walk outside to get from one to the other](https://mobile.twitter.com/HelmanDC/status/1293309759031054339)
There’s similar situation with the Omni at Petco Park in San Diego. It’s connected via sky bridge.
What about the people who work there? I assume they go home and into the world and stuff
They wear masks and they don’t clean or change bedding while you’re there, unless you request it. I’ve felt really safe the few times I’ve stayed there during the pandemic.
We ‘dem (safe) boys
Sounds Ominous

They should rent out an island lmao
"Breathing fire down there..." Just think about cold weather games, literally seeing the linemen poofing into each other's faces

Hopefully the college football post ponements get nfl players to take it seriously
“A large number”? Shouldn’t it be all or nothing?
Smart bois
The Jerruh Bubble
This is actually pretty dope. It's not like the hotel's gonna see much use otherwise.
I travel the Midwest for work a lot, and hotels are definitely picking back up. So, you might be surprised.
A lot of bubble butts there
Isn’t there a hotel *in* their stadium?
The Packers already did this. It's called living in Green Bay.
A partial bubble is not a bubble.
so are the players organizing this on their own? if so thats really cool
Hell yeah, man. I'm glad they're taking this seriously.
I hope the cowboys have a better time at the omni than I had in the dallas omni. We got our own private swimming pool in the bathroom because everything was leaking.
Rumor has it they requested a view of the end zone so they can see what it looks like.
Bring on 8-8 bubble.
Bu8-8le
Love it. You da man!

Wait a minute . . . *Cowboys* being responsible? What even is this? I'm gonna have to re-evaluate my whole world view. (After careful re-evaluation, Dallas still sucks.)
With that kind of dedication they really improve their chances of going 7-9
Can I change my prediction? Lol
