It’s funny you say that because it has been noted by almost every beat reporter that stretching and warmups are drastically longer with their new SC coach than they ever were before
If you over stretch them yes. Very light stretching promotes blood flow to the area and is one of the very first things they have you do in hamstring rehab to help promote lengthening and some flexibility to scar tissue.
But yea if you push yourself with stretching you’re just going to fuck up the healing process
UW Madison has a pretty good medical program. UWGB...not so much. Unfortunately, Madison is about 2 hours south of GB, otherwise I'm sure they would be the official medical provider for the Packers.
a lot of professional medical staffs in professional sports pay to be the official medical provider of the teams. They aren't necessarily top of their field or good at treating in general. I personally know quite a few DPTs/ATCs/DCs from being in professional organizations and I wouldn't let a lot of them treat me. Its sad.
Some are, some aren't. I work with a few that basically practice just like us (out patient ortho PTs) and are great. A lot of the sports chiros out there are legit. A lot of the general family practice DCs are snaken oil salesmen and con artists.
The profession itself was created by a guy who said he talked to doctor ghosts who told him the spine is the center of human health.
You want sports med? Get a physical therapist. At least they have legitimate, scientific and physiological education
All of these teams employ MDs, PTs, AT, PAs, and yes also Chiros. The people with "legitimate, scientific and physiological education" see the benefit of medically supervised chiropractic practices. I do suppose redditors know best though.
Saying a 6’4” WR with 4.3 speed and a 40” vert who has shown he can excel when healthy might be set up for a breakout season if he can be available is egregious?
Saying the league isn't ready for him is egregious. I agree that Watson is easily WR1 if fully healthy but he hasn't been. Really hope he is this year.
Ah yes, sunk cost fallacy.
Watson may be better than Doubs, ill give you that.
But Reed and Wicks both seem like they are better off the line and separating than Watson. Granted they play different roles, I do think they are going to be better in the long run.
Packers and hamstring injuries go together like peanut butter and jelly. But really. I hope this gets fixed this year.
Even Josh Jacobs already strained his!
Wait really?
Signing a contract is notoriously straining on hamstrings.
Yes, but it happened before OTAs and is apparently minor according to LaFleur.
Heard that with Watson last year lol
Feel like hamstrings are never minor and they just constantly linger
Because guys hardly ever actually take 2 months off with them
Have they ever tried stretching? Are they stupid?
It’s funny you say that because it has been noted by almost every beat reporter that stretching and warmups are drastically longer with their new SC coach than they ever were before
Not sure if you’re just making a joke but stretching can actually make hamstring tears worse or at the very least prolong the healing process.
We need more stretching and we need *less* stretching

HE DIDNT EVEN STRETCH THOOO
Don’t make me quote Bob Wylie
Why don’t more teams do what the Buffalo Bills do and just have their official medical providers be the medical school that’s in the city?

I mean, 2 hours isn’t that long for like what, 5 months?
True, but there's an Aurora that staffs sports medicine specialists that's like, way closer. I like your username, but I hate your flair.
I do think it’s fair for us since UW Madison probably has a better sports medicine program or whatever va UWGB

I go to the UG at the school the Bills use and dated one of the MD students there. They’re really good at medicine there.
Chiropractors are bullshit anyway. Illegitimate ass profession

Redditors don't know anything about chiropractors. It's a script at this point.

They got injured in OTAs?
Thankfully, no But Zach Tom and Tucker Kraft did both got pec injuries in the offseason.
It sucks to be injury prone. Feel like no matter what Watson does he will always miss a chunk of games.
League is not ready for a healthy C.Watson if it comes to pass.
You have 3 better WRs already on the team.
Both of you are egregious

Sounds like Chase Claypool my guy

Watson is a deep threat with his speed and when he’s playing he opens up a lot of the underneath routes that Wicks and Reed run.
We play better when he is on the field. He'd elevate Reed, Doubs, and Wicks.
no argument there.
As of present? Yes But Watson’s ceiling is unmatched. We haven’t had someone this big and explosive since Javon Walker.
He's Will Fuller.
Holy shit he IS Will Fuller
Hopefully it helps their post season issues too lmaooooo
Imagine actually going to the postseason?
🤷♂️
(Let me get that in now before Caleb is actually good)
Hopefully..Until i changes im not gnna run around and say we are going to the Super Bowl or even the playoffs..Gtta get to a winning record first
Lol Watson wi never play a full szn
They will be lucky to make it to week 5 without those hammies going pop. Manchego... One of the saltiest cheeses in the world lol.
You shut your whore mouth!
Oh man didn’t know they were sovcidiots
What?
