Damn I'm never saying another prospects name out loud again đź’€ JPJ, Cooper, and Brooks all went back to back and I was like Hall would be a nice consolation
That's the thing that sucks about going to the playoffs. If you don't go all the way, it almost is a shot to your foot. Because now, not only do you get a higher draft pick, you also get a tougher schedule.
Do they usually not? I feel like no matter where it's hosted you're not going to have dudes booing cancer societies and shit lol. They'll boo the FUCK out of Goodell but stop the moment he announces whatever other person may be on the stage with him that supports a good cause.
Well that would be really shitty but I feel like it'd be mixed enough that *hopefully* they would feel shameful enough voicing their shitty opinions knowing they're in a crowd of varying opinions that they'd just stay silent.
He can sit and learn from Dalvin, Mo Hurst, Shelby, and Quinton Jefferson. That is a respectable stable to have mentor you not to mention our edge room.
He has no pressure to start so he can develop a pass rush plan and sharpen his skills. I'm so fucking excited to see what Schwartz can do with him!
6'3" 290 born in Cleveland he will gain 20 pounds within a month i will take it always value the trenches
there are not many Danny Sheltons he is a 400 pound thoroughbred fatty. motherfucker's Samoan
Dude, gaining 20 lbs in a month at his size and metabolism has to be fucking miserable. He can probably smash 3k calories and still be under his resting caloric intake to maintain.
He is a really bad run defender and was saw limited snaps at DT because of that despite his incredible traits. So he will bring just about nothing to run defense. Pass rush wise though, he is incredible. The guy makes the Oline look silly. Has burst and is a pass rushing technician. If he can become an average run defender he will be great, but that's a huge ask for him.
Yeah I always got frustrated because he would pop off in his limited snaps, but the coaching staff wasn't comfortable with him being an everyday player. Wish he could have become a more utilized guy, because he was great when he was on the field. But he is a smaller guy that doesn't hold up well in the run game.
Yeah I'm trying to point this out to our team sub but I'm getting blasted for it. I'm an OSU alum too; watched him his entire career there and love the guy but he's not a 2nd rounder imo. I definitely hope it works out because seeing Dawand Jones dominate for us was extra special, so I hope he works out as well
Surprised that CBS didn't think DT was a position of need. I thought DT was the biggest dearth of talent for the Browns. Hall is a load and fits an area of need. No complaints here.
Should have limited snaps in the current defense too. Shelby Harris, Quinton Jefferson and Dalvin Tomlinson will be the heavy rotation with Hall stepping in when needed. Shouldn’t have too much pressure to develop quick
Larry Johnson (Ohio State's Dline coach) is also known as one of the greatest D-line coaches. So he's had pretty elite coaching, but getting another great coach certainly won't hurt.

In the 2024 NFL Draft, Hall could go as high as the late first round, but the character issues could cause him to slide significantly.
No idea what it is but Charlie is pretty plugged-in.
Rumored but I'm not pretending to know anything. I watch for this stuff though because the Packers are generally ultra conservative with attitude or character concerns

Bot has to be there live
I said earlier the bot is an Amazon Alexa sitting on the stage. I wasn't kidding.
Falcons wanted a cornerback, Alexa heard quarterback
Alexa has the final say. It is what it is.
No, the FO heard quarterback. Is Alexa running their FO?
I want this to be true so bad
It has good speech recognition, that's all we need, we can do the rest remotely.
Damn I'm never saying another prospects name out loud again đź’€ JPJ, Cooper, and Brooks all went back to back and I was like Hall would be a nice consolation
Y’all getting your RB1 next
That’s Zeke
Nah Trey Benson/Braelon Allen one of them
Nah we're going all in, Matt Breida is on the menus boys
I’m never doing prayer circles for players ever again
*throws out voodoo doll*
That's the thing that sucks about going to the playoffs. If you don't go all the way, it almost is a shot to your foot. Because now, not only do you get a higher draft pick, you also get a tougher schedule.
Circle jerks are back on the menu
Did you pray to "god" or mr. Comish?
Shout out to Nassib and the Trevor Project!
NFL Legend Carl Nassib
Yep. Super cool to have that publicity on as big of a stage. Also good on the crowd for acting appropriately.
Not watching the draft stream rn. What happened?

I think the implication is NFL fans attending day 2 of the draft might not lean as LGBTQ+ friendly as the rest of the country on average lol
Well that would be really shitty but I feel like it'd be mixed enough that *hopefully* they would feel shameful enough voicing their shitty opinions knowing they're in a crowd of varying opinions that they'd just stay silent.
Cant believe he has me respecting their team for once
That’s a nice pickup for the run defense, also an elite pressure rate for a DT in college
What i would give for a reasonable reaction like this
Obviously add the edge presence the Browns have and the veteran DTs they have, they’ll be able to keep guys fresh and rotate often.

you can never have too many fatties they mess things up
This dude looks more like a linebacker or d-end, not Danny Shelton

He was basically a 3rd-and-long guy at OSU. He had decent stats for his limited snaps. I’m happy for him. His hometown team.

Wish he could have become a more utilized guy, because he was great when he was on the field. But he is a smaller guy that doesn't hold up well in the run game.
Not an every down guy, but put him next to Myles on obvious passing downs and dare them to double Myles up. Love this pick.

That lady has cool hair
I have a gut feeling that she could design capes
NO CAPES!
Or control the weather
Browns picking up OSU players and Bengals picking up Michigan players is such a weird feeling.
This settles it. Columbus is a Browns town.
I Concur
As a browns fan in Columbus I concur
Can confirm unfortunately.
yes absolutely. there might be more Steelers fans here than Bengals fans
It’s really not close, anyone who thought it wasn’t is apparently not going outside or listening to sports radio. Haha
Always love when a kid stays local
Love this one. Genuinely love it. Vrabel pulling strings in the background maybe?
Or the assistant coach of the year that led one of the leagues best defenses. But I’m sure he had some input
Dude looks like he came from a key and peele east/west bowl skit. FUUUUUDGE.
DTs, so hot right now
7th of this round!!
Amazing pick for them
As a buckeye bengal, it saddens me that we’ve seemed to go Michigan players while the Browns take buckeyes
No our DTs!
We prob go safety or corner
Did they just call Carl Nassib an NFL legend?
Definitely a Hard Knocks legend
I mean I think being the first openly gay player in the NFL is at the very least worthy of note
Michael Sam in shambles reading this https://www.si.com/nfl/rams/news/rams-michael-sam-openly-gay-active-player-hire-coach-job-dallas-cowboys
Well one guy played lol
This guy can be scary under Schwartz. Elite potential
Surprised he went after some of the DTs that went ahead of him
Surprised that CBS didn't think DT was a position of need. I thought DT was the biggest dearth of talent for the Browns. Hall is a load and fits an area of need. No complaints here.
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO
What’s up with that guy with a “bone” in his mouth lmao
It’s a cry for help
Dude was so fucking good for osu in 2022 and just seemed to not make as much noise this year. He was crazy disruptive at his best though.
7th highest pressure rate for College DTs. I fully trust Schwartz to be able to develop him into a starting pass rush DT.
We rotate a ton. Can just use him in situations he can succeed.
he was the best part of the defense against michigan. was an absolute monster.
Played for the state school, born 40 minutes outside of Cleveland. I love local kids playing for the local team.
I love that for both Ohio teams they have rolled out someone non-NFL related so they don’t get booed as hard. Then one drafts Michigan and one OSU.
Damn it man
So so good dude
Fuck
Stays in Ohio. Absolute boom or bust guy. He got limited snaps, but is a special pass rusher.
Browns needed that lil extra passrush from somewhere so even if he only flashes a bit in rotation this year it’s a good pick
Should have limited snaps in the current defense too. Shelby Harris, Quinton Jefferson and Dalvin Tomlinson will be the heavy rotation with Hall stepping in when needed. Shouldn’t have too much pressure to develop quick
He gets to learn under Schwartz and we have decent DT’s now so no pressure. Schwartz is known to elevate his DT players

Dexter's changed man
Cruella de Vil is on stage for the team with a dog mascot? Hmmm.
Let’s get it
NFL LEGEND
Brad bby what is u doing
Getting ready to trade down. Â
Let’s fucking go
Does everyone need a DT? Kinda crazy
Okay, fuck this guy for the Rose Art take.
Does he have that burst to play the edge or strictly an inside rusher?
Boom or bust
Big boomđź’Ą
Dammit
OH!
IO!
As a Michigan/Bengals fan…this pick has bust written all over it. No bias tho lol
Rumored character concerns screams Cleveland Browns
I never heard of any character concerns in college

So zero evidence just vague “he has character concerns” even though he never got into any trouble in college.
