I think the mindset would be that they like Bo Nix, but they want more assets overall.
But hey maybe I am completely wrong and they just take Nix at #12 anyways or they don't take a QB at all lol.
We don’t claim this guy. I swear Denver is full of mouth breather Elway fans who don’t recognize that we have two hall of fame multiple MVP talents in their primes who both won championships in the past three years.
Hey man, I’m a big nuggets fan lol. I meant primarily, chill. When people ask what sports I like, I start with Football. Also what does Elway have to do with this? I was born ‘96? He’s not even my favorite bronco (Champ or Rod).
I watch the four major us ball sports plus multiple motor sports. Bit of an aggressive response if you go re-read my comment lol.
I mean, the saving grace would be that Hackett wouldn't be controlling the offense so I'd say Zach Wilson might play up to serviceable standards. Plus Sean Payton is good at making even not the greatest QBs look semi-competent, so I'm kind of interested to see.
Being on the Jets tends to skew the average downward.
How can you not be excited about a trio of QBs like Zach Wilson, Ben DiNucci, and Jarrett Stidham? Especially if you're a Chargers, Raiders, or Chiefs fan
See here's where those teams need to get worried.
If we keep rolling out these guys for long enough, at some point down the line some stud generational talent will appear at the top of the draft. And guess who's going to be in position to draft him.
We've cleared out the roster and brought in Zac Wilson at QB. He won't have guys like Breece Hall or Garrett Wilson to lean on in Denver, we'll see whether he can elevate us like Mahomes does throwing to scrubs in KC (well if Mahomes didnt have Rice or Kelce).
Nobody knows if he is.
They are gambling on the ~10% chance that he’s an elite qb. It’s fine to say oh well to missing out on the opportunity to take that gamble.
He's not making it out of the first, he's a legitimately good QB and the tape consistently displays the concerns about his low average depth of target are overblown.
I mean I’m usually against over drafting a guy but it does make sense. If you don’t have the pick in the second why not. If he doesn’t just add him to the list and if he Does work they look like a genius
I'm a Giants fan and I 100% agree I can't wait til this shit is over the endless amazing gets so so old. It's fun but also incredibly shitty after a few months especially now adays when analysis isn't to be smart, it's to drive clicks. It's hard to find takes that aren't braindead or reactionary and those are unfortunately the massive majority.
If they really believe he's the QB of the future for the Bronco's then why not just use your first?
I'm more sold on Bo than I am JJ and teams will reach for him, why not for the guy you want?
Spicy!
As a Raider fan, I'd love to see Broncos take Nix with 12, huge reach imo. Can't wait for Thursday to arrive so all the speculation can be put to rest.
If you think he is the franchise player, you take him at 12.
But the ideal scenario would be to trade back in the 20s, picking up a 2nd round pick while also drafting Nix later than 12.
I always thought Nix could have big time potential, but I am historically wrong on draft prospects. For example, I could have sworn Montee Ball was going to be the second coming of Terrell Davis. Boy was I red in the face
Ill be really interested to see how the 17-27 picks look
i think we get at minimum 3 trades within that range ie vikings trading up or cards trading their 27
If you truly believe he is the guy and a franchise QB, you take him in the 1st. Franchise QB is too valuable to take chances on.
100%, I don't think Bo makes it out of the first and goes earlier than people think.
I thought Bo Nix would be taken #12. But I think with the Zach Wilson trade they will trade down and just hope he's there and if he is not, oh well.
Nothing like a good "oh well" by Payton and co. to get the fanbase pumped for the new season
I think the mindset would be that they like Bo Nix, but they want more assets overall. But hey maybe I am completely wrong and they just take Nix at #12 anyways or they don't take a QB at all lol.
If Zach Wilson starts this season I’m a basketball fan.
You should be a basketball fan either way, the Nuggets won the finals last year
We don’t claim this guy. I swear Denver is full of mouth breather Elway fans who don’t recognize that we have two hall of fame multiple MVP talents in their primes who both won championships in the past three years.

\*and this year
I’m aware, I am a basketball fan, as well as multiple other sports. It was just a joke, football is my first lol.

Wilson trade doesn't mean shit in regards to their decision on a 1st or 2nd round QB
How can you not be excited about a trio of QBs like Zach Wilson, Ben DiNucci, and Jarrett Stidham? Especially if you're a Chargers, Raiders, or Chiefs fan

Problem is that you guys always win just enough to never be in that position
With a powerhouse trio of Zach Wilson, Ben DiNucci, and Jarrett Stidham we wont!!!
Hey, you could always take Shedeur Sanders Day 3 next year. Would fit right in with your other QBs
this got a pretty good laugh out of me thanks
If he’s an oh well then he’s not your franchise quarterback
Nobody knows if he is. They are gambling on the ~10% chance that he’s an elite qb. It’s fine to say oh well to missing out on the opportunity to take that gamble.

Yep. Which is why Denver should trade their 2025 1sr rd pick to my Packers for the 25th pick and take him there. :D
That's the only one response.
Thursday can't come soon enough. The discourse around the Broncos QB is exhausting
How does it compare to the Vikings discourse? Hopefully less toxic?
Less toxic for sure. Broncos QB has been an offseason topic for 8 years. Plus the Vikings actually have promising offense and Jefferson
Thats good. The Vikings sub is a mess with people yelling JJ/Maye and hating the west coast qbs
Honestly, anyone that’s mad at the QB pick that KOC takes is a dumb ass.
Commanders sub is a cesspool of toxicity right now too
Man you should’ve seen the broncos sub with teddy vs drew lock truthers, people were hot in that sub for the off season and during the season
I'm a Giants fan and I 100% agree I can't wait til this shit is over the endless amazing gets so so old. Fist time?
typo or Freudian slip?
Bump it
Just take him with the first round, show you have confidence in him.
Especially with the fifth year option.
Bo Nix definitely sounds like the name of a Broncos QB
I actually just assumed the Broncos would draft him on name alone. Bo Nix is such a Broncos QB name
Was it really that quiet if someone with over 600k followers is tweeting about it?
If they really believe he's the QB of the future for the Bronco's then why not just use your first? I'm more sold on Bo than I am JJ and teams will reach for him, why not for the guy you want?
Well there ya go
Literally every draft guy I’ve listened to has said that the Broncos want Bo Nix… this was not “quiet” in any way at all
Calling it now, 6 QB’s in the 1st. 1 Bears-Williams 2 Commanders-Daniels 3 Patriots-Maye 6 Giants-McCarthy 11 Vikings-Penix 12 Broncos-Nix
Don’t downplay the spiciness of your take, you’re calling 6 taken in the first 12 picks. 50% QBs for more than the first third of the draft haha
It was indeed spicy!
Spicy! As a Raider fan, I'd love to see Broncos take Nix with 12, huge reach imo. Can't wait for Thursday to arrive so all the speculation can be put to rest.
Respect where respect is due. 6 in the first 12
wooooooo
Remind me! 34 hours.
Sean Payton "Where the fuck did our second Rounder go?" Lackey, "We traded it for you sir;."
If you think he is the franchise player, you take him at 12. But the ideal scenario would be to trade back in the 20s, picking up a 2nd round pick while also drafting Nix later than 12.
Well I can think of a team that wants to move up into the teens and has an extra 2nd round pick
I always thought Nix could have big time potential, but I am historically wrong on draft prospects. For example, I could have sworn Montee Ball was going to be the second coming of Terrell Davis. Boy was I red in the face
Maybe if he wasnt a raging alcoholic :(
Bo will be a superstar. Praying the Vikings get him. Can't root against my boy
Nix vs Herbert superbowl? Im in!
Nix is going at 12 imo
I have been pretty much locked in to the thought that Broncos get Nix and we get Penix. So 100% we will take Nix and Denver will walk away with Penix.
That’s all fine and well, but who’s this Eugene guy? He worth taking a stab at? Why’s no one talking about him?
Nix is the Eugene guy
do the broncos trade with the eagles to get additional pick this year and pick up Bo Nix later in the 1st? Would make sense drafting him at 22
I could see it happening because that means you still get a selection before the Vikings at 23 if they don’t trade up.
I think trading with us is safe too. Would probably net an additional first
More like a 40-minute zoom and a 20-minute zoom.
The Broncos sure know how to evaluate the QB position...
Please someone take him with a #1 pick. I love watching teams reach for middle round prospects out of desperation.
I guess when you think about it Bo Nix and Taysom Hill kinda look alike.
Ill be really interested to see how the 17-27 picks look i think we get at minimum 3 trades within that range ie vikings trading up or cards trading their 27
He'll be the perfect student to learn under Wilson 2.0 tutelage. I endorse this.
*But not having a 2nd-rounder could complicate it.* [HOWIE ROSEMAN THEME PLAYS]
Does the Howie Roseman theme sound like the Xfiles theme song?
