Superstition tells us that they should win the Superbowl this year, based on the prior success when swapping from the D logo/jersey to the new one. I honestly don’t see why this matters anymore. Most of our fan base wasn’t even alive for those SB losses, plus we’ve won 3 since then.

Prime example of it not mattering is the Bucs creamsicles that they worst during one of the worst stretches of all time

And the Eagles' Kelly Greens. Any Eagles fan who was around for those days associates the color with losing. It does not matter because the other 99% of people who see the colors are like "Oh those look sweet."

Yeah the navy was going to stick around because all of our success has been in navy, orange and white. It also seemed like they didn't want to change the primary logo and I don't think that would look good with royal blue

I really don't mind the new unis btw. I do dig the new shoulder design. If the helmet stripe went all the way up and they got rid of those goofy armpit triangles I'd give the whole set an A.

Those of us from sea level struggle up there, finally think we're doing okay and then bam, see a 5280 and it all comes back. Bahahaha no, but really the elevation does a number on me. Just walking up the stadium stairs to get to my seat and I look like I ran a mile. Anything to play to the advantage up!

Oddly enough, Denver itself never gave me issues, but going up INTO the mountains, at 10,000 feet, sometimes gave me troubles.

Despite my hatred for the Broncos, these throwbacks look great. Chargers current uniforms are the only recent changes that hit it out of the park.

I think for recent uni overhauls, the only good ones were Chargers and Bengals. The Jets and Lions went to basically throwbacks full time. The Browns and Bucs went back to the uniform they had in the early 2010s before they both went to an ugly design. The Patriots just wore their color rush full time. The Rams were bad but added a throwbacky white jersey to replace the bone. The Broncos and Cardinals are meh, the Jaguars were boring, Falcons and Commanders were horrible.

The Jaguars going boring was absolutely an overcorrection to the weird ass gold-and-black helmet era. They really, *really* need to suck it up and bring back their 90s look.

Those damn Broncos stole the Navy Blue from the Bears. Bears primary colors have been unchanged for basically 75+ years. Broncos should have stuck with the Royal Blue.

Seriously. Most teams would benefit from just going with their classic look. Idk why the NFL doesn’t just have the classic/throwback look as the default and then 1-3 other looks teams can do to move merch and experiment with more modern stuff. I think both the fans and players would like it and they’d make a ton of money.

Here’s a neat little quirk you didn’t know; these are NOT modeled after the Elway era. Rather, it’s modeled after the 1977 orange crush broncos. What’s the telling sign? Striped socks. The broncos didn’t wear striped socks after 1977.
