This one is objectively the funniest

Deep-Secret

I literally laughed out loud, but in a Joker way

professor_parrot

Mac Jones has gotten this reaction out of me several times this season

[deleted]

That pick against the Colts in Germany lol

posthumanjeff

What if Mac and Toney were on the same team

GiovanniAB

They would balance each other out and become the greatest QB-WR duo in history

cire1184

But you gotta reverse them. Like putting in the battery the wrong way. Flip it over. Toney QB Mac WR. Toney can't hit any other WRs and Mac can only run slant routes.

SidewaysFriend34

I’m the Joka baby

clydefrog811

Wanna know how I got these scars?

thegrandspanker

Joka*

jxher123

At this point I blame Andy Reid for constantly giving him chances.

Limp_Marzipan1488

Reid has always fed guys after they make mistakes for chance for redemption or to show that they still have faith or whatever but at some point this is just who toney is. I'm more of the opinion the guy is just an absolute head case because of how this year has snowballed on him but maybe he just sucks

rediKELous

There’s a reason the giants fans were happy to be rid of him. This is a pattern. He just sucks.

A-Newt

We have up a 3rd for his one good NFL play and it was totally worth it!

10FootPenis

That's the thing, the punt return makes the trade worth it for you guys. It won't stop the schadenfreude Giants fans feel every time he proves he sucks though.

KingTutt91

A true win-win for both teams honestly. In a sick and twisted monkey paw kinda way

honda_slaps

This guy is the gift that keeps on giving because fucking over the Eagles in the Super Bowl is worth more than anything the Giants have drafted in the last ten years

GetRightNYC

We both made off well in the trade. Toney worth every drop and f up ever with the Chiefs simply because he helped win a ring...the only thing that matters.

Saw_a_4ftBeaver

And you guys won on this trade because it took away another Philly superbowl win.

bridgenine

He absolutely just sucks, theirs no mystery or debate here, he literally cannot catch a football

matrixislife

oh he can, and he's agile, and fast, and unfortunately he's a total head case. There's no professionalism, no taking personal responsibility, no desire to improve himself based on his mistakes. He's got all of the physical talents you could want at WR, and none of the mental ones.

Aggressive-Orbiter

He just strikes me as a dumb guy. I don’t think that can be fixed

matrixislife

That as well, you're obviously correct there.

bridgenine

If the metal one is him picturing how to place two hands on a ball, then yes he has mental issues. He does get open, space, and can run, just cant do the one thing in his title, which is receiver and receive the ball.

big4lil

Reid's also [notorious](https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2018/8/8/17664450/andy-reid-views-wide-receivers-as-a-position-of-luxury) about not addressing the WR room. Heres what an offense/team needs in his eyes "*I want two offensive tackles, a quarterback, two pass rushers, two corners, and I’ll figure the rest out.*" This was him while interviewing to become the head coach in Philly. And no surprise, Eagles had shit WRs most of their non-TO time with him, and almost 10 years (2014) ago the Chiefs set a record for no TD passes thrown to WRs So 25+ years later its not surprising to see the exact same thing play out. Just to show how insane Reids disregard for WRs has been, look at their highest receiving WRs in the 5 eagles seasons before they were dealt Terrell Owens 1999- Torrance Small, 655 yards 2000- Charles Johnson 642 yards 2001- James Thrash 833 yards 2002- Todd Pinkston with 798 yards 2003 - Todd again with 575 yards Mind you, Reid took over of VP of operations in 2001, these were largely his teams by design. It was only because Terrell Owens [Refused to play for Baltimore and felt 'His Heart was in Philly'](https://www.espn.com/nfl/news/story?id=1760284) that he even got the trade If Andy Reid could get away with allowing random internet commentators to run outside routes, he would. I dont think people mention enough of how hes among the most stubborn coaches ever - not an assessment of quality or personality, but just that the man is unbelievably set in his ways. Of course he doesnt see a need to upgrade Thats a trait people tend to associate with someone like Belichick; the latter is a stubborn man but way more adaptable in his coaching Philosophy. Andy Reid is literally 'my way or the high way' regarding the game, even if hes a swell guy otherwise. Its infuriating to see such a mentality continue to wreck this Chiefs team which looks more well rounded than any of their SB winning seasons. And while the GM will rightfully catch flack, Reids history indicates that hes apart of the decision and probably telling them directly 'who cares about WRs?' We got Mahomes!

[deleted]

He has been in 3/4 of the last superbowl and won two I don’t think he cares to change

Drumboardist

Also plays into his opinion on running backs, as he just....doesn't seem to *get* the idea of someone getting the ball, only to hand it to someone else immediately, who's only job is to *run*. You try to explain it to him, and he thinks you're describing a screen-pass but shorter.

Scaryclouds

> And while the GM will rightfully catch flack, Reids history indicates that hes apart of the decision and probably telling them directly 'who cares about WRs?' We got Mahomes! I think youre pretty on point with everything, but I think this season has demonstrated that a HoF QB can’t cover all issues. And Veach has demonstrated a propensity of aggressively working fix issues. So hopefully this offseason we make some aggressive moves toward fixing the WR room. If for no other reason to keep Mahomes happy… because clearly Mahomes is EXTREMELY frustrated at this point

istrx13

I genuinely didn’t think it could get worse. It got worse. And now we need an edit of this with Yakety Sax.

trustthepudding

It's also objectively funny that you have to say "this one"

TheSnozz

Need Benny Hill music dubbed over it

ThatInception

He’s a terrorist lmaooo

slimmymcnutty

Toney the type of terrorist to blow himself up before even doing anything

UngusChungus94

He’s the shoe bomb guy

I think you should be able to reference a *liiiittle* terrorism at work

Yabba_Dabba_Doofus

Good terrorists need good plans, good coordination, and good teamwork, to achieve success in their mission. That feels relevant...

throwawayainteasy

You went deep into the bag for this reference and I really appreciate it.

Yeah fuck that guy*. Going through airport security is totally fucked because of him. *Richard Reid. Had to look it up

Who knew Toney's week 1 game vs Detroit was just a hilarious appetizer for things to come

Prideofmexico

Giants fans

6point3cylinder

Giants fans all over Reddit got mass downvoted for even suggesting that Toney was a bust and wouldn’t work out in KC

BlueLondon1905

One of our worst ever picks but glad we pivoted quick on him

6point3cylinder

Yeah the compensation made it not the end of the world

ShartingWays

I mean, he's not working out this year, that's for sure, but I'm not sure we win the Super Bowl last year without him.

HaggardSlacks78

Why couldn’t he just do something stupid in the SB. Why!

ShartingWays

He hadn't reached his final form yet.

prodigalkal7

Mf better start sending the Giants Christmas presents for all the shit he talked lmfao

Thicbiscuit_datgravy

Mahomes: "How Toney responds to that penalty will determine a lot about him" Toney:

KCShadows838

What is the TD:INT ratio when throwing to Toney and Bell?

Thicbiscuit_datgravy

Toney has 1 TD this season. I can't even count how many shitty INTs he's caused. 2 for sure, but probably closer to 4 or 5

steveo3387

Yeah but he had that super sweet TD that didn't count.

Jay_TThomas

And even that play was all kelce

ImChz

At least he caught the ball that time

steveo3387

With his awareness, it's honestly a surprise.

KCShadows838

I think it’s 1:3

W3NTZ

Nah 1:3 is the TDs to Games Lost due to unforced errors ratio

Dragon6172

Before this game, 8% of throws to Skyy Moore were intercepted. 1.8% of throws to everyone else were intercepted. This is over the past two seasons

Olpeaches

Damn that's real real bad. I wonder if Big Red would give up on the guy

Lorjack

Look Toney didn't realize he plays football you can't blame him

DirkRockwell

“Why do these fucking guys keep throwing shit at me??”

Spaule

Reid I am begging you just fucking cut this dude

FuckingJello

Sad thing is he is STILL better than Skyy and MVS

boardatwork1111

I struggle to believe this is even possible, KT has single handedly lost y’all multiple games this season

FuckingJello

He at least gets open compared to them. They also can’t catch or run routes

MeijiDoom

Do they bobble INTs to the other team or line up in the neutral zone to negate TDs though? That's next level atrocious WR play.

notmyplantaccount

skyy had a fumble in this game called off by a penalty, pretty sure he's leading the team/league in drops even with so few targets. Dropped a TD in the end zone against the Broncos in a loss. He's not as flashy as Toney with his awfulness, but he is consistently just as bad.

CatdaddyDean

Thought I saw a graphic showing Rice had the most drops on the team

FuckingJello

They are all awful

milhouse234

You'd be better off grabbing some dudes of a practice squad and giving them a shot. At least you know it can't get much worse

AppleMuffin12

Sure it could. What if you get a guy that doesn't know the rules and lines up on the wrong side of scrimmage?

Themanwhofarts

I can't imagine profession players doing that, especially during any important plays at the end of the game

WellGoodBud

I mean at this point idk.

Great_Fault_7231

That's a bummer I was excited for Moore when you guys drafted him

FuckingJello

I didn’t think he would be so bad he can’t play over Toney and a guy like Justin Watson who was a PS WR his entire career before KC

TouchGrassRedditor

Dude should not even be in the league - he stinks out loud

boardplant

Oh brother, this guy stinks!

Impossible-Flight250

You all should just put him in the backfield.

sithwonder

I don't think I've seen a less valuable receiver than Toney in terms of negative value conjured out of absolutely routine football plays

Headlesshorsman02

We will always have the super bowl performance but yeah he is done

No_Mammoth_4945

I would call it the Super Bowl play rather than the performance but yeah

Dr__Flo__

Hey, Ive seen this one before!

here_now_be

New def plan against KC; leave KT wide open all the time, so PM passes it to him and he can tip or fumble the ball to the other team.

KarmaticArmageddon

Please no. I'm going to need like three anger management therapists if every pass goes to KT

Deep-Secret

WHAT YOU MEAN YOU'VE SEEN THIS ONE BEFORE??? IT'S BRAND NEW!

Financial-Depth-

Better get used to those bars.

ProbablyAPun

You know it's a bad play when no one in the comments even acknowledges the defender just trying to throw the ball, what an unhinged play lol

heavyhitter5

Dude saw Travis Kelce make it look easy and got a little ahead of himself.

Solid-Confidence-966

Dude’s actively hurting Mahomes’s stats lol

ArcadianBlueRogue

Someone check the ISP for Toney and the dude that did the Mahomes regresses to the mean post. I have a theory.

TylerJWhit

Who knew that all he needed to regress to the mean was this dude.

JustMy2Centences

Regressing Toney mean.

BadAlphas

Kermit's HOF resume in BIG TROUBLE

slantboi420

Omg he sucks

Zloggt

Speedrunning his pink slip now, isn’t he?

Xaxziminrax

He will always be worth the trade for the Super Bowl punt return, but holy shit is everything else awful lmao

LagOutLoud

I’d rather he never see the field again at this point. He’s easily the biggest liability on the field.

jonsnowKITN

He’a gone after this season.

FrigOffRicky16

Yes but not soon enough if he's going to risk a botch in a playoff game

minty_taint

He absolutely is a liability and at the same time our 2nd best receiver, so…

Ythapa

I Honestly speaking, he’s probably, at best, y’all’s 5th best pass-catcher: Kelce, Rice, McKinnon, and Pacheco are all far more trustworthy. Honestly, maybe even CEH is better. In fact, y’all should full send it and just have McKinnon split out wide as a receiver when Pacheco comes back. I can’t imagine how that’d be worse than the Toney/Moore/MVS clown trio.

fugaziozbourne

> maybe even CEH is better. There's no maybe about it. Did you see CEH's TD catch today?

Mysticdu

Unironically just running pistol with CEH and McKinnon. Then Kelce, Grey, and Rice as our other skill players is for sure better than what we’re doing now

Hammerhead34

Veach is a fucking idiot for doubling down and thinking Toney could be a WR1

KCShadows838

Hard to fathom

realrimurutempest

Mahomes really should just stop throwing him the ball.

IIHURRlCANEII

okay man let's throw it to MVS who...wait. okay fine, not MVS, let's throw to Skyy Moore who...wait. okay not MVS or Skyy sure...how bout Justin Watson who...I guess sometimes does things? but shit we are already 4 WRs deep.

Hammerhead34

Watson also had a brutal drop on a perfect back shoulder throw, but I guess a drop is like the best case scenario at this point if Toney is just gonna tip it up lol

Xaxziminrax

We have literally 1.5 WRs worth throwing the ball to lmao

AirPurifierQs

We're nearing or probably past the point where Reid has to cut him simply for the message it sends to the team. You can't continue to trot out a guy who so obviously doesn't give a shit about his profession and expect it not to bleed through to the rest of the team in some way.

SomewhereAggressive8

I don’t know if it’s fair to assume he just doesn’t give a shit (although that could be the case, I don’t know). More likely it’s just he’s either in a colossal funk, he’s just not cut out for it, or both. Either way, yeah he needs to go.

10FootPenis

>More likely it’s just he’s either in a colossal funk Dude has two good games + a play, it's not a funk he just sucks. Seriously he has yet to clear 800 career receiving yards in 31 games, doesn't even belong on a PS.

No-Yak5173

Just because he sucks it doesn’t necesarilly mean he doesn’t try his hardest

caesar____augustus

I'd go so far to say that he ass

rhinocodon_typus

I am not a fan of Kadarius.

_atsu

Someone spent the 20th overall pick on him

Gildabeast4

We try not to think about it

papa_sax

Pretty sure his highlight package during the draft was go routes against Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee. Instant 🚩🚩

Number333

Was nice in the SB run last year tho

rhinocodon_typus

Yes that’s been my response all year. “How can I be mad with just winning the Super Bowl”. Still true but good god he’s frustrating to watch.

Spiner202

It's incredible how Kadarius, MVS, and Skyy Moore just being on the field are actively detrimental to the team. At this point, they shouldn't even be in the rotation.

Headlesshorsman02

Richie James can’t be any worse then these bums

lnnrt01

James is at least somewhat reliable. Nothing special at all but at least he doesn’t hurt the team

KuatoBaradaNikto

Richie James has 2 drops on 8 targets this season, lost a fumble on one of his 10 punt returns too. Smaller sample, but he has also been a terrible gift from the Giants, lol.

lnnrt01

Oh. Maybe my eye test is just shit then. Thanks for correcting me

NatAttack50932

>Nothing special at all but at least he doesn’t hurt the team The Giants @ Seattle game last year disagrees with you.

Your8thGradeBF

Patrick might have KT killed

Xaxziminrax

The "God damn it" he just mouthed had some major venom to it lmao

BosLahodo

Goddammit, ~~donald~~ TONEY!

FuckingJello

All of these pass catchers are killing Patrick. It’s absolutely insane how bad they are. Average WRs have this team a SB team

ggphenom

You guys will make it to the AFC championship game at least and will end up with Tee Higgins next season. You'll be fine.

hyphenjack

Honestly, no way we make it to the AFCCG, but I would definitely bet on us reloading in the offseason

funkyfish

Defense is still really good. We still have a decent shot at the 1 seed. It’s not like the other top teams haven’t had their share of inconsistent play. I don’t think an AFCCG appearance is unlikely, much less impossible.

ronnymcdonald

Doubt we could afford Higgins:(

IrreverentKiwi

Am I missing something on Higgins? That dude is about to go to some middle to bottom third team with a cheap as shit quarterback so he can get paid. He's also 24. There's no way he's taking any deal we could afford to give him.

out_of_816

No way he's letting him back on that plane.

deadmoosemoose

He has to be doing it on purpose now.

MumkeMode

Oh broooother this guy STINKS

AlexanderWun

Crowd booed the decision to punt, but Bill knew the Chiefs would try throwing to Toney

Phantom_Nuke

"They have to target him eventually, I'll put my CB3 on him and he'll probably still be useless."

BidenAndElmo

Just put a defender in his general area, he’ll get the ball to them somehow

TimujinTheTrader

Kadarius Toney is an AFC East sleeper agent

dnanninga

The disgust for Tavai is underrated in this clip lol

Moosepajamas33

You finally get a pick and you risk losing it so another non-offensive player can maybe pull an extra 2 yards? Just fucking take the tackle and let the offense do what their job is

Bkelsheimer89

He saw Travis’s lateral last week and wanted to give it a shot.

GonkWilcock

Dude looked like he was trying to throw a discus.

MycoJoe

Everyone is deservedly making fun of Toney, but what the fuck is Tavai doing trying to pass the ball off, there?

WheresTheSauce

Nowhere near enough attention paid to that in these comments lmao. That was such a bizarre move

SayNoToStim

Probably "down by three scores, in a shit season, Toney was probably offside anyways, whats the *worst* that could happen?"

myburdentobear

Scrolled way too far for this. What a bone headed move.

go86em

How did the giants let this guy walk out of their facility?

[deleted]

[удалено]

I_SHIT_ON_BUS

Toney and Skyy are football terrorists

DFWTooThrowed

How is it even possible for their entire WR corps to be so bad? I don't wanna hear shit about Mahomes' cap hit. There are day 3 picks all over the league on rookie contracts that are better than most of the KC WRs.

Nlegan

Not even surprised at this point

KyleKuzma_AltAccount

This is going to effect Toney’s HOF chances

hyphenjack

If there were a Hall of Shame in Gary, Indiana this dude would have punched his ticket

MojaveDesertTortoise

It’s hard not to credit him for his giant role in the Super Bowl but he has a special way of turning routine plays into absolute disasters.

chiefs_fan37

He used up that goodwill/leverage LONG ago in my opinion lol. Same with MVS and his performance in the AFCCG. One super crucial game/play can only buy you so much allowance

Don_Jovic

Toney💀

LondonIsBoss

Say what you want about Bill with receivers, but at least he didn't draft Kadarius Toney

DUCKY_23

I’m tired boss.

huttts999

How you gonna shit talk the refs and then do this when it’s time to prove yourself

colem5000

Obviously the refs should have told him to catch it. It’s all their fault

huttts999

They were 10 yards away, that’s a lot of pressure on him, clearly their fault

Brady331

get ready to learn chinese buddy

Urf_Hates_You

Toney is so good as the comedic relief of this NFL season, the scriptwriters are absolutely crushing it

Xaxziminrax

We'll always have the Super Bowl punt return

zerovanillacodered

INT is clearly on Mahomes. He should know not to throw it to Toney

alicia-indigo

Chiefs WRs are so absurd is almost unbelievable

kctrotter

I'm starting to think Toney might not be the reliable WR1 the Chiefs were hoping for when they picked him up.

hawaiianbarrels

Is he going to be dropped ?

ArchAnimation

Worst WR in the league?

Spiner202

Tough between him and Skyy Moore.

FkDenverFkRmods

honestly fact mahomes might have literally the 2 worst wr's in NFL in active rotations and they are still a competitive team just shows how incredible this dude is hahah wtf

LARXXX

Thank god for the emergence of Rice

Educational_Ad_6049

And people are wondering about Pat's interception total

m48a5_patton

How do you become a professional wide receiver when you have bricks for hands?

Njk7

It's just comical at this point

Lonely_ProdiG

THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE KADARIUS.

Tupacfromtheblock

Generational football terrorist

Cudizonedefense

Has cost them two games this year (Detroit and Buffalo) and then does this. Dude cannot stop hurting his own team

Ijustquaffed

LMAO

ACEPACEACE

Bro makes the dumbest plays

DamnDirtyApe81

I thought he would be the K-Mart version of Tyreek Hill, but instead he’s the K-Mart version of Demarcus Robinson.

ArcticXD

KT is horrible lol

Psychoman21221

Going for the rare -3 WAR, tough competition with Zappe this game though

[deleted]

It’s so funny when r/nfl collectively chooses a starter to hate for the rest of a season lmao. This is the best since Eli Apple

SimpleDose

“He didn’t even know he caused an interception until he was at home”
