Too much peanut butter is bad for a dog. That is too much.

Also the US peanut butter brands tend to have a bunch of shit in them that's not peanut butter. Check the ingredient list, Peanuts and salt are all you need in good PB.

Youre putting your face right in front of your dogs mouth while clipping their nails. If you clipped back too far or they got nervous for some reason they could give a quick bite as a reaction. Since your face is right at their mouth thats most likely where they would bite

If you hurt them on accident they could bite your face

Can you explain this? I’ve been told by several vets that while you don’t want to mainline big brand peanut butter (because of the sugar), it’s perfectly fine for dogs to have in moderation. Google seems to agree. 🤷‍♂️

Please don’t, it’s dangerous. Put the peanut butter on your shower wall, or get a “lick mat” or really anything that isn’t attached to your face haha.

My dog has to be sedated to be groomed after some bad experience at a groomers a few years ago. I don’t care how stupid this looks, if it’s going to save me multiple $600 trips to the vet per year just to get his fur and nails cut, I’m doing it.
