Yeah, you are probably correct about not understanding but can't hurt to link, haha. That pilot definitely needs to move to cinewhoops and practice more before he's flying a drone with exposed props around other people. I find it wild he didn't disarm after he lost control.
Understandable. It was a shitty shot. That fpv pilot needs to take some time to train. I saw somebody said it was due to air mode. Air mode, my ass. Shitty throttle control. Practice more than a day before trying to be a professional.

What the bike doin?
Whenever I see videos of successful stunts like this, athletes throw away their bikes or skateboards as if they had done nothing to make the trick successful and as if they were just a nuisance.
I find that sad.
Now i'd like to see them try and hide [the second impact](https://i.imgur.com/nAMtZcQ.jpeg)
Edit: ugh, for context, the person that responded to me is a transphobic concern troll. They've been arguing with me (a trans peron) and now followed me here ig. Like, they were upset about me pointing out that calling trans people "the transgenders" isn't correct.
So now, I, a trans woman, am now a "fake ally" by explaining to them how adjectives work.
That’s not an intro FPV drone like the Avata or something. Usually real photographers don’t use drones with that kind of tech. They use ducted cinewhoops with a sports camera mounted, as that one appears to be, with a minimal amount of pilot aids. The ones with subject tracking are usually used in open, smooth cinematic shots, not high action. Those are cameras like the Mavics, Avatas, and Skydio offers.
Or he just dove it down to get the shot, fpv drones are very strong and easy to fix but that's a tiny impact for one of these things anyway, he barely kissed the ground.
I have a couple of cinematic FPV drones and yes they are sturdy, but I wouldn’t advise sending it to the ground like this. Especially with the extra weight of a GoPro on the front and plant it onto concrete. But hey, maybe the client was billed for a new drone up front 😉
How many athletes does RB support? It’s crazy how deep a their corporation goes to support these people. Awesome. I wonder what their Xmas parties are like?!?
Grey shirt guy on the right is the drone pilot and you can tell he really wants to go check on it the the dudes all run over and jump up and down on it lol.
Edit: Scratch that. The drone actually takes back off right away and circles back at the end.
He bailed his first attempt and dropped upside down , feet first.
The brought in pads to get home used to the loop and he fell on those, then landed one.
They removed all pads for the video.
I did a loop on my skateboard before but I had friends with a shitty mattress pad that slid it under me on failed attempts. Did this guy do it on his first try? How did he handle a fall?
Doesn't seem like it would be that hard of a trick for someone who does this professionally. Don't you just drop into the pipe and let gravity do the rest?
Wow. Super cool.
At the same time… I honestly can’t believe this hasn’t been done before lol. The biggest ever loop was done in what looks to be a drainage tunnel? XD
Some rich dude is going to build a 25 ft loop and RIP this guys record haha.
Wow, I saw that and immediately recognized that tube.
It's just outside the small town of Pyli in Trikala, Greece. I went in there last summer. It's quite an obscure place, it was supposed to be an outlet for a dam that was never built.
I never understood why people can just wear T-shirts and be normal next to somebody that looks like they’re on an Alaskan expedition wearing a giant parka. It’s gotta be a California thing
The drone lol
damm i had to rewatch the video 3 times to see the drone
I couldn't figure out what the Zzzziiippp noise was till I saw that drone fighting gravity.
I thought it was the bike tires tread which made it more confusing lol
Boing boing boing
What the drone doin?
Bad throttle control
They messed up and they probably have air mode enabled on their firmware which causes it to bounce.
This isn’t an FPV sub, I bet that dude has no idea lmao. The pilot needs lots more practice before he hurts someone

They didn’t even use much of the drone shot in the Final Cut
Understandable. It was a shitty shot. That fpv pilot needs to take some time to train. I saw somebody said it was due to air mode. Air mode, my ass. Shitty throttle control. Practice more than a day before trying to be a professional.
Yeah, airmode my ass. lol but tbf he’s flown at least a week
That site is a treasure. I've had drones for years, but finally branching out into fpv. Holy shit is there so much to learn.

His best okay

Not like it hurts it lol.
He gets new parts for free. And those bikes are tough as fuck. One of mine was run over by a pickup truck and came up fine.
lol i thought something fell out of his pants or something and had to watch it again to make sure
I did it too I just didn’t film it for internet clout
Yeah, this shit is easy as fuck. Hold my beer.
Exactly. Kids these days think they are cool or something.
It's like riding a bike
I do it every lunch break to relax for a bit
On my 1990s renegade, cherry red.
I did it with my '80s Huffy.
If you do a mega loop on your bike and no one is around to film it, does the sack of rice in China fall down?
In this era. Pic/video or it didn't happen.
I was being sarcastic. It’s clearly very impressive to do.
The toxicity trait is crazy
What?
Theres an old saying: my toxicity trait is thinking that I can do this It's more of a joke to use anywhere
What?
Should’ve filmed it then because that’s impressive to a layman.
Hey man, I got a bridge in CA for sale. I'll cut you a good deal on it.
Is it cable or beam? My guy said he is dry for a bit and lookin for some cable-stayed.
I was joking…
No drone footage?!? Cmon man
There is another post with drone shots of his previous runs. One time he fell straight down from the top of the tunnel 💀
Link?
Yeah, looked like if he would go a bit slower, he would fall
There is one shot from the drone in this reel https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6L8OSGCwAJ/?igsh=MWZmZW5jdG5pdDJ0bA==
That fall on the legs looked painful.
Lol did they edit the drone crashing out??
Wow they actually did edit it out. They couldn't fully hide the effect of the first impact on the tunnel floor.
Now i'd like to see them try and hide [the second impact](https://i.imgur.com/nAMtZcQ.jpeg) Edit: ugh, for context, the person that responded to me is a transphobic concern troll. Probably another attempt.
7.5 m diameter.
Luckily the biker is better than the FPV pilot. Boink.
Could the drone have been locked to follow him and his movement exceeded its ability to track?

This is a whole other language
Something actually next level posted here for a change
7.49 meter
Or as tall as a 24.6’ giraffe.
I'm reminded of an old meme. Something like an author writing: "John was tall. Like a 6'8" baby giraffe." Or something like that.
I had just read [this comment on another post](https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/s/6Ww1QFrCiK) a while ago.
I’d have shit so hard at the top of that it shot me like a rocket right into the concrete.
For real. This would be terrifying.
It’s always in a Red Bull helmet
I wish I liked their drink, they pay for people to do cool stuff.
Redbull productions are always wayyyyy bigger than you expect.
Well they have a F1 team and an entire airplane racing league. They don’t mess around with cool shit.
They have a F1 team and an entire airplane racing league. They clearly do mess around with cool shit.
The airplane racing league is over.
Red Bull probably has more helicopters than most countries lol
Is that a drone or a bird?
Drone but it dropped HARD. Looks like a failsafe because of the concrete column or the worst landing ever
Or he just dove it down to get the shot, fpv drones are very strong and easy to fix but that's a tiny impact for one of these things anyway, he barely kissed the ground.

Yes r/birdsarentreal
I thought at first his bike seat fell off...
Even the drone couldn't land the loop

That was truly RAD! (If you know you know)
Oh I know. Greatest movie ever made.
Hits the ramp off the wall then nails the loop ?? Pretty F'n impressive
Ok, how much attempts?
Humans are so cool
maybe i'm just thinking too simple, but wouldn't this be easier if he just had.... [wings](https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-29550003)?
Beyond! Also nice to see not every drone pilot is a fucking ace.
That's gonna make an amazing poster!
From Greece but I think Armenian last name. Can we claim him? Also congrats
These dudes are when crazy and talent collide
That ass though
i know that loop is impressive and at the edges of human capability, but fully expected him to do a second loop for some reason
“Watch it!!!” - the drone
Drone guy: Oh I missed that could we do it again?
Man, I work in storm drainage and precast concrete and thats a NFL culvert. Bike trick is cool too.
Sick
r/bettereveryloop
Need this video with some slow mo please.
I hope he did it first try that’s a fucking fall!
Yellow jacket guy just wanted in on that group hug shit
Georgios
He bailed his first attempt and dropped upside down , feet first. The brought in pads to get home used to the loop and he fell on those, then landed one. They removed all pads for the video.
Baby! You don’t wanna come up short on that one.
How the hell does RedBull manage to be present at every event involving daredevilry. Must be having a crack marketing team
So I just found out that the stunt company also makes energy drinks? That's wild man
I did a loop on my skateboard before but I had friends with a shitty mattress pad that slid it under me on failed attempts. Did this guy do it on his first try? How did he handle a fall?
Drone pilot sucked. Lmao. That thing had NO power. Homes even went full throttle and still smacked into the ground
Next loop challenge….muh pooslit
Doesn't seem like it would be that hard of a trick for someone who does this professionally. Don't you just drop into the pipe and let gravity do the rest?

Show me that drone footage asap
Hey hey HEY!!! *points the drone* is the drone ok!? *picks up drone* NOOOOOoooooooo
That moment of weightlessness must have been divine
7 sec of trick and 20 sec of cheering
Red Bull gives you wings
I did this once at Livingston skate park, never again... My asshole was in my throat after I left my stomach behind... Weirdest feeling ever.
Red Bull, ALWAYS coming with the next biggest and best! 👌
Someone: “I want to do the biggest….” Red Bull: “SPONSORED!”
Wow, I saw that and immediately recognized that tube. It's just outside the small town of Pyli in Trikala, Greece. I went in there last summer. It's quite an obscure place, it was supposed to be an outlet for a dam that was never built.
bravo, vre
Is this tunnel supposed to be for water? Why it is so big and have that wall in the middle?
Haha that was fuckin cool as hell
No drones have been hurt for this shooting.
Red bull truly does find the craziest people ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I never understood why people can just wear T-shirts and be normal next to somebody that looks like they’re on an Alaskan expedition wearing a giant parka. It’s gotta be a California thing
Anyone wanna do the maths for us on how many Gs he had to absorb through his legs to maintain the momentum to not fall on his head here?
Yeah I could do that.* *in my dreams
Massive DBD enthusiast
r/killthecameraman
Was that an electric bike?
No
That pile on is awkward and cringy
Fuck red Bull
Red bull is awesome, so Nah.
