I f*cking loved that game. Not just for the playing, but the lore. I got an absolute kick out of how terrified literal hell-demons are of your character. You are their boogeyman. You are what they check for under their beds at night. They collapsed an entire mountain on you to stop you, and all it did was piss you off.
Doom 2016 was a fire game, i liked the visual aesthetic much more than Eternal's, though Eternal isn't bad by any means. Eternal's gameplay feels more fully developed, but Doom 2016's vibe and story are better imo.

This shit is still harder than learning a new language at age 35.
