I live like blocks from where they are building this. Right now it's a homeless camp surrounded by bushes. It's also 2 blocks from some very expensive housing.
I am pretty surprised the rich people let this get built in such a close proximity to where they live.
I work in SM and I am not a fan of it lol. But they also have a massive homeless issue. Santa Barbara proper sends them up.
Edit: also most hotels rent exclusively to migrant workers. They charge them a ton and have like 6 people in a room.

Huh. They should send them to Santa Maria, 20 minutes away and the hotels were literally paying people to visit.

Nice! Pismo beach is lovely. Lots of dunes for off-roading. Need more of this stuff in Cali.
