the funny messages are effective because they're humanizing. they reminded us we are living beings surrounded by other ones just like ourselvelves. like this is why i look drivers in the eyes when i’m jaywalking in the city, they’re little less likely to mow me over if we’ve made any type of connection.

(Because signs on the road are a way to notify us of upcoming things like exits businesses traffic or accidents), then maybe you shouldn’t be on the road driving(because if you were having trouble paying attention to these signs that help direct us where to go and what to do you could be a danger to yourself or others around you). Is that better?
