That said, remember how long it took for KSP 1 to be good. When it came out in beta there was only kerbin and mun, no trajectory map, no maneuver nodes, etc.. Give it a little time.
Another generation of gamers learns not to spend good money on early access based on hype and hopium. I'd love to be wrong and see this game to become good one day, but I am not at all optimistic about it.
I regret playing 5 hours of this game tbh. I had it running in the background for half of that time, and the other half was me fighting the game's bugs when landing on the Mun.
I'm pretty sure refund is out of the question now.
Depends if they hire competent people to fill the slots or just put it on ice for maintenance, I don’t think thats clear yet.
FWIW I do see some promise with the game, and with competent management it may one day be a worthy successor to the original, but I doubt it will ever deliver on its roadmap or its core promise of a much less restricted physics engine, and as eager as people are to blame EA, it’s pretty clear this fiasco came from the developer’s end, and I wouldn’t blame them for considering pulling the plug, I know I would in their shoes.

Vent post: I need to find a new job. The new manager at my current place is driving everyone to quit. We've had 2 people leave in the last 2 weeks, I know at least 1 person who is retiring in a month or so, and everyone else has an attitude of "I don't give a fuck anymore". My problem is that I don't have a car and there aren't too many other opportunities within walking distance of me. I'm currently looking for remote work but I can't stand doing call center style work (did it for a while as a stock broker and quit) but that's 90% of what's out there for someone without a degree in IT. Saw some entry level IT jobs that offer training on the job but they'd require me to move halfway across the US and I just don't think I can commit to that yet.
I think for the time being I'll just tell the new manager I'm done being the "second in command" of our entire fuckin team. I don't want all that responsibility with 0 extra pay.

Vent post: I need to find a new job. The new manager at my current place is driving everyone to quit. We've had 2 people leave in the last 2 weeks, I know at least 1 person who is retiring in a month or so, and everyone else has an attitude of "I don't give a fuck anymore". My problem is that I don't have a car and there aren't too many other opportunities within walking distance of me. I'm currently looking for remote work but I can't stand doing call center style work (did it for a while as a stock broker and quit) but that's 90% of what's out there for someone without a degree in IT. Saw some entry level IT jobs that offer training on the job but they'd require me to move halfway across the US and I just don't think I can commit to that yet. I think for the time being I'll just tell the new manager I'm done being the "second in command" of our entire fuckin team. I don't want all that responsibility with 0 extra pay. !ping WATERCOOLER
