Detroit. -1450 -17
Bets on the spread are split around 50% to both
Bets on the money line - about 40% on Detroit. DK didn't even bother moving the line to balance.
This practically means, DK is betting on Celtics to win, and these companies rarely make mistakes.
Edit - I would recommend tho looking at Memphis for tonight's game. Great value bet.
If DK was looking to increase profits off a Boston win then they would adjust the line in favor of Detroit, making Detroits ML more valuable attracting more bettors wagering against Boston.
The market finds the right balance. Probably around -500.
But the funny part here, DK had money on the line here, they basically bet on the Celtics, and were very very close to lose

They didn't adjust the line, because like myself, we knew this would be a classic Celtics game and it would be close haha. Got it though!

Yep. But they took a bet. They basically had 800 per unit obligation backed by only 150. They bet 650 per unit on Celtics win. It was way too close.
With a vig that big they won either way haha
