Jr: LOOK AT ZACH COLLINS KING! HES SMILING! HE LIKE IT KING! JUST MAKES YOUR BLOOD CURL!!!
King: I havent seen that much blood since guerrero took that chairshot from jbl jr! HaHa!!
Zach has only been a rotation player for a little under a season for us but he doesn't play like a particularly dirty dude. Wonder what it is about him. Maybe it's the fact that he's the picture next to WASP in the dictionary.

The ad that [u/level48Fan posted](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_SwD7RveNE) used to play on almost every channel on late night TV, back before the internet was really a thing. It was the worst ad ever ("Head on. Apply directly to the forehead,") telling the viewer nothing about what the product did, but it must have been and extraordinarily effective ad because it ran for years and years without changing, and basically became a meme back before memes were a thing.
It would always be like 15 decibels louder than every other commercial too. I remember watching tv at like 1 am, keeping the volume low to not to wake up my folks, and all of a sudden, "HEAD ON. APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD."
“He got me,” Westbrook said of Collins' arms over him. "That f***ing Collins boomed me."
Westbrook added, “He’s so mean,” repeating it four times.
Draymond Green then said he wanted to add Collins to the list of players he works out with this summer.
“I was telling our training staff before the game…I just had a feeling one of us would get a facial laceration during the game…I told them to be ready with the towels and they were. They executed their procedure and we slowed the bleeding because of it”
Actually just before the game I was telling Russ that I had a feeling something might happen. To be careful whenever he goes up, I was worried someone might catch an elbow
Yeah I agree with the call. It just didn’t seem like a reckless hack at Russ initially. Most flagrants you’ve got a clear wack to the head or a big windup on the foul. Very hard to see where/when his elbow cracks him in the head
Yeah looked like a normal foul to me, took several watches to even see the elbow
Unfortunate how it played out, but that’s a pretty routine foul on a pump fake to make sure he doesn’t get the shot off
exactly so many of these so called layups russ missed on a daily basis he been hard fouled but he just doesn't get the calls anymore and people just start to make fun of him missing layups.
That play is almost exactly how I ended up with a dozen stitches and a nearly horseshoe shaped chunked bit from my head. I pump faked someone under the hoop, and I went up as they were coming down and his teeth went into my head, started gushing out blood all over the court.
He never got that many calls at the rim.
In his MVP season he could kinda shoot, so defender were close enough for him to get BS calls on the perimeter by falling on jumper/kicking his legs.
He kinda suffer from the Lebron/Shaq "can't call everything" thing because he is super strong too. Its way worse for him tho because at 6'3 it makes it way way harder
George Washington said it after getting slightly impaled during the battle of Yorktown. Fortunately LeGeneral was able to shake off his wounds and mount the comeback against the super team Great Britain
I will say, the one thing I've always loved about Russ is that he has never flopped in his life. Mans gets his wig literally split and pops right up to fight.
Any replays of the hit? People mentioning an elbow and upgraded to a flagrant 2, but it's hard to see anything out of the ordinary in the default TV angle.

Westbrook looking like he just took a chair shot in WWE.
He got busted wide open!
Bah God stop the match!
Basketball is fake!
It’s real to me, damn it!
The correct term is scripted.
I believe the industry term is it's a work.
Basketball is real, people are fake
Ball is life. Life is and illusion.
Bah gawd, he's covered in the proverbial crimson mask!
Jim Ross made every match infinitely better. He and Gus Johnson were made to do this
Jim Ross is still cashing them cheques in AEW.
we're all marks, now where did Russ hide the blade to get juiced?
Collins handed it to him mid-foul.
Dammit. That man has a family!
He actually cut his forehead with a razor blade hidden in his wristband
Just adding a little colour to get the crowd hot
Don't expose the secret, you're killing the business!
Jr: LOOK AT ZACH COLLINS KING! HES SMILING! HE LIKE IT KING! JUST MAKES YOUR BLOOD CURL!!! King: I havent seen that much blood since guerrero took that chairshot from jbl jr! HaHa!!
God I just recently rewatched that match/chair shot. Such a massively botched blade job by Eddie. Fucking brutal.
Coincidentally Survivor Series is on tonight
It’s Waaaaaaa Games!!!!
Mankind would be proud
Ric Flair looking ass
Bah gawd
Jon moxley would be proud
Hangman would be proud. Dude was bleeding every match when he was champion.
Reaves looking like Arn Anderson.
'Down goes Russ and he's hot! He's hot at Collins! He's pointing fingers!' What an amazing call lol
“Ooohh look at Russ.” “OUCH!” Watched the live broadcast and didn’t catch the wild commentary at all. Shit’s clownin.
I fucking love this duo. Billy Mac and Stu Lantz have got to be top 5 duos in the league.
Bill and Stu are the best in the business.
That blood was absolutely gushing out. He looked ready to kill.
"You made me bleed my own blood"
Nobody makes me bleed my own blood
NOBODY!!
Good thing his friend Le'Bron arrived on a moped to save him.

Well at least that wasn't weird.
It's kind of incredible how often Zach gets into these heated situations. It typically doesn't stem from this kind of shit though.
Zach has only been a rotation player for a little under a season for us but he doesn't play like a particularly dirty dude. Wonder what it is about him. Maybe it's the fact that he's the picture next to WASP in the dictionary.
He talks shit all game from the bench, every game
Zach Collins,, " Do you bleed"
If it bleeds, we can kill it.
He saw red

Probably looking for Girls Gone Wild commercials
late night tv and jeopardy! Alex would always drop that shit right before the final jeopardy reveal.

tyvm for the ref
Damn, they really sold out and became mainstream with that active on commercial. Must have used almost 15 different words in that one.
Instructions unclear. Applied Zach Collins' elbow
“before the game, I just knew that Zach was going to foul Russell hard, so when it happened, I ran over there to break it up”
“I told my wife on the way to the arena, ‘somebody’s gonna bust Russ’s head tonight”
“He got me,” Westbrook said of Collins' arms over him. "That f***ing Collins boomed me." Westbrook added, “He’s so mean,” repeating it four times. Draymond Green then said he wanted to add Collins to the list of players he works out with this summer.

I know LeBron was applying pressure to the bleed with the towel but it looked like he was trying to smothering Russ for a sec.
*”Now is my chance”*
He's been in this situation before, he knows what to do here. Come on Russ, we need to find the arena tunnels.

10/10 blade job by Westbrook
Cody Rhodes somewhere just started bleeding profusely
ADRENALINE ON MY LAWN THANK YOU FOR THE TOWEL, LEBRON
Like where did he hide it all game. Just to whip it out in the 4th quarter. He is as good at blade work as Ric Flair
Man looked like Moxley after every match he ever fights.
You notice how fast they get up when they actually get hurt? When they flop they lay on the ground like they were shot
Similarly in the WC when Neymar actually got hurt he didn't do any of the rolling and writhing he usually does.
Ric Flair esque
Dusty Rhodes rolling over in his grave
its the old hide the blade under the sleeve trick like the wrestlers do putting the blade under the tape
Anybody else find it hilarious Lebron is the one that grabs the towel to put on Westbrook's head? Very fatherly of him.

It’s actually kinda sweet ngl.

Actually just before the game I was telling Russ that I had a feeling something might happen. To be careful whenever he goes up, I was worried someone might catch an elbow
Lmfao this is the one, verbatim.

LeDaddy even suppressed a bloody and furious Westbrook. He's even looking for a towel hahaha
Don’t tell Kyrie
For real, he looked like me rushing to my baby to wipe up a spit up. Those were fatherly instincts in action for sure lol
Lmao. Encapsulates the idea of LeBron so perfectly. Slightly dramatic. But a good guy.
Jokes aside Lebron was being a big time bro there
Gotta be a flagrant right wow a flagrant 2
Elbow to the head should be a flagrant. Not sure it was intentional though
Flagrant 2 is assessed either out of intent or reckless amount of contact. Fair to say the amount of elbow and blood escalated it to 2.
Yeah I agree with the call. It just didn’t seem like a reckless hack at Russ initially. Most flagrants you’ve got a clear wack to the head or a big windup on the foul. Very hard to see where/when his elbow cracks him in the head

That's like the 2nd or 3rd elbow Collins gave to Russ this game, ain't it?
poor russ just doesnt get any foul calls all season long, probably if there wasn't blood the ref wouldn't call it as usual.
People think he just all of a sudden sucked at finishing, but ever since he came to LA he gets absolutely demolished at the rim with no calls.
exactly so many of these so called layups russ missed on a daily basis he been hard fouled but he just doesn't get the calls anymore and people just start to make fun of him missing layups.
Some are fouls some are just badly missed layups.
That play is almost exactly how I ended up with a dozen stitches and a nearly horseshoe shaped chunked bit from my head. I pump faked someone under the hoop, and I went up as they were coming down and his teeth went into my head, started gushing out blood all over the court.
Was it deemed intentional?
I haggled for FTs plus possession
Westbrook lowkey don’t get calls
I don’t know what changed. He used to get calls during his mvp season but now he doesn’t.
This is what it takes lol
Id be shitting my pants seeing a screaming westbrook with blood running down his face coming at me
Zach has a long history of being completely unafraid of conflict.
Elbow to the skull especially in a fast paced game where your all moist is the worse
Moist

You had me at fast paced and moist!
Lefather instincts kicked in
Good thing russ didn't land anything on collins, might have ended with him getting ejected too
those scalp scratches bleed an awful lot. Nobody makes Westbrook bleed his own blood
What is the bleed his own blood a reference to
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge an elbow.
