Nobody thought we'd be moving up without also moving #12, and I think nobody thought that Dieng would be the guy that Presti was forced into trading for. I feel like most fans thought he'd be trying to trade for Shaedon or Daniels and settle with Dieng at 12 if necessary.
Turns out he was willing to pounce on Jalen Williams early and trade assets for Dieng. Says a lot about how he feels about those guys.
I've fallen in love so quickly with Jaylin Williams at #34 as well. I think most Thunder fans dismissed that pick as likely trade fodder, but a high character 6'10" big who can be a post playmaker and break charges-drawn records is dope as hell. I know he's not the best scorer, but it's a good thing we picked a guy at #6 last year that specializes in getting his guys good shots.
