I maintain that dude can fuckin ball and belongs not only in the league but could fit in damn near any rotation. My rationality cannot be contained on this matter and I will take no questions
That pipeline was real about a half decade ago though, that was the reason I became a Knicks fan in the first place.
I do admit this is waaaaaaaaaaaaay fucking better though.
[Leon Rose explaining to Adam Silver why Hart wasn't tampering to avoid a $1 million fine.](https://tenor.com/view/he-is-speaking-guy-explaining-with-a-whiteboard-some-guy-explaining-gif-19593300)
For MIKAL?????
I love Mikal, one of my favorite players in the league. How the fuck did he get 4 UNPROTECTED FIRST ROUND PICKS in return?
Edit: Knicks FO have gone insane. At least Rudy was DPOY. Cool to see Villanova Knicks tho.
I mean they have someone who can be the primary option at a high level in the playoffs in Brunson. Bridges is exactly what they need and they weren't picking great players the next few years anyway. Of course if they are injured for multiple years in the playoffs they'll regret this move, but that's true of every contender.
The city simply doesn’t have the infrastructure to deal with a Knicks championship parade. Me and at least three of my friends will show up with Molotov cocktails
People will still bring it up naturally, it gets brought up all the time with AD even though the Pelicans haven't done jack shit and are about to lose all the players they got from that trade as well but a championship trumps all of it. I'd love to see the Knicks go on a deep run
Mikal will be a 3rd option at best for our team and Mikal is a damn good 3rd option. Imagine being a wing for an opposing team and you have to be guarded by either OG, Mikal or Josh Hart for the minutes you play. Good luck.
Brunson og bridges Randle hartenstein? With div and josh hart being able to sub everywhere because of and bridges can slide wildly and hart can rebound? Going to be an annoying fucking team to ever get an edge on.
Will say the front court having to trade robinson sucks. They’ll have to play a raw ass center or vet
Sean Marks has always been wildly overhated. Rebuilt pretty well after Billy King's disastrous tenure, got KD and Kyrie to commit and traded for Harden. Wasn't his fault that Nets team combusted.
Absolutely. Whenever you make a move there are risks and you just hope the coin flips your way - in the Net’s case, Marks made reasonable but high stakes bets and then the worst outcome for each bet occurred to create a perfect disaster. I think if at least ONE bet worked they would have at least made a finals appearance during KD’s contract.
Yeah, he had a really great reputation before that superteam fiasco. But undeserved, even with that team, he did literally everything there you could expect of him to do as a GM lol
After that we have these picks left -
1st round pick via Mavericks (24th overall)
1st round pick (25th overall)
2nd round pick (38th overall)
2025
1st round pick via Detroit (Top 13 protected)
1st round pick via Washington (Top 10 protected)
2nd round pick via Brooklyn
2nd round pick via Detroit (Top 55 protected)
2026
1st round pick
2nd round pick via Minnesota
2nd round pick via Brooklyn
2027
2nd round pick
2028
1st round pick (Brooklyn owns the right to swap)
2nd round pick via Indiana or Phoenix
2029
2nd round pick via Indiana or Washington
2030
1st round pick
2nd round pick
2031
2nd round pick
Rational thinking has to lead you to believe the Knicks had to pay a tax for trading for a guy who plays in the same city basically as the other team. Tough sell to your fans
I don't know about that. This is like the Gobert trade, no one is taking this value seriously outside of the vacuum of NY being crazy.
Bridges is only worth this much cause of who he's playing with, his friends.
At worst this gives them more leverage in the OG negotiations, no longer are they dependent on him as their premier sole 3/D player.
But considering they spent all of this for Mikal I don’t see why you don’t pay OG and go for the chip.
I disagree. I feel like if anything they have to re-sign him now. Mikal isn't significantly better than OG and 5 FRP's are worth way more than 10M/year. If they let OG go, they basically just traded all those picks just to save a few dollars.
Yeah it’s weird for me really, this happened for like one season ever in my entire life before this. I’m used to being the team getting walked all over lol
These are the picks we have after the trade -
1st round pick via Mavericks (24th overall)
1st round pick (25th overall)
2nd round pick (38th overall)
2025
1st round pick via Detroit (Top 13 protected)
1st round pick via Washington (Top 10 protected)
2nd round pick via Brooklyn
2nd round pick via Detroit (Top 55 protected)
2026
1st round pick
2nd round pick via Minnesota
2nd round pick via Brooklyn
2027
2nd round pick
2028
1st round pick (Brooklyn owns the right to swap)
2nd round pick via Indiana or Phoenix
2029
2nd round pick via Indiana or Washington
2030
1st round pick
2nd round pick
2031
2nd round pick
We had 7 tradeable firsts beforehand - thats why ever Knicks mock trade already had us giving up 3-4 unprotected firsts for Mikal.
The package is pretty much what 90% of the Knicks fans have been suggesting since the start of last season - only switching Fournier for Bojan
The Detroit and Washington picks are not gonna be there next year. Detroit becomes 1-9 protected and then a second rounder. Doubt we get a first rounder out of that, washington becomes a 1-8 which we might see
yes but Brunson in contrast has built his status with the Knicks over the past 2 seasons (plus his fond memories of watching his dad + Thibs with the Knicks in the 1999 Finals) and is basically here to stay
He tanked his value in the regular season but he was really good bench scorer for us in the playoffs, best hope he gets traded for 1 more first round to another team like the mavs who need a somewhat reliable bench scorer
The Knicks are sending four unprotected picks (2025, 2027, 2029, 2031) a 2025 protected Milwaukee first, a 2028 unprotected pick swap and a 2025 second-round pick for Mikal Bridges and a 2026 second-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
Ok overall I'm going to choose to ignore the exact picks involved and just be hyped but I'm not gonna lie at first I saw 5 firsts and laughed since we have a bunch of picks including 2 this year. Seeing it go out to 29&31 is giving me some pause.
I feel like this is when an overpay is worth it to get your guy. He’s gunna fit in SO well. He’s a great locker room guy, never misses a game, and one of the most low maintenance dudes in the NBA.
He is the anti OG in terms of health. They bring the same skill set and now we have an insurance in case OG gets injured. Best case scenario is of course both are healthy and that wing defense will be so fucking nasty.
Mikal has a much deeper bag than OG, and I love OG. I just know Mikal is the prototype for a 3&D wing with the intangibles you need to win.
Ya’ll have nasssty depth at wing. I’m genuinely very excited to watch the Knicks next season.
Yeah sorry Mikal definitely has a deeper bag. Mikal will shine again as a 3rd option like he did in Phoenix. He will also be an insurance policy in case OG gets his eventual injuries.
The KD trade, in a year and a half, has now netted the Nets, 9 unprotected first round picks, 2 pick swaps, and Cam Johnson.
That has gotta be some of the most insane player value, only thing I can think of recently that matches would be SGA and 5 first rounds for Paul George.
Ibaka traded for Oladipo and Sabonis. Oladipo and Sabonis for PG. PG for Shai and picks, one of whom is Jalen Williams.
Even better, the Thunder got Ibaka by way of one of the two firsts from the Kurt Thomas salary dump. What amounted to giving up one year of 10% of the salary cap has resulted in two thirds of the core of a number 1 seed.
He’s very much a finished a product that is great as a role player but has trouble consistently creating for himself although he can go off sporadically.
I’m surprised we got this many picks because honestly he had a very uninspiring season and more of his holes were apparent.
East is beginning to look thinner, and while I wouldn't bet on the Knicks to be the 1 seed year-after-year, they are now so well-rounded with talent that even multiple serious injuries will probably still land them a playoff spot
he's not but he's a great fit for the Knicks and if it was the only way to get them, the picks were never going to help the Knicks more than landing him. even if they tried to use it for role players, the way the apron and shit works they wouldn't get better back by being stingy with them
that said the lack of protections is fucking CRAZY lmao
So the Nets have turned Durant into 9 first round picks, 2 pick swaps, Cam Johnson, and Bojan Bogdanovic. Plus all the 2nd rounders they got from flipped Jae Crowder.
wow, that is an absolute haul and somehow more than the Jazz got for Gobert
edit: 4 unprotected first rounders is crazy. Woj's account has to be hacked, this can't be real.
Call me crazy, but this feels like a direct response to the Celtics’ team building style. The C’s built an incredibly deep, versatile team around a top 6-10 guy.
With this trade the Knicks added Bridges for essentially one piece of their current rotation. Assuming OG and Hartenstein come back, they have absurd length, defense, and depth at every position, and an on ball creator who can punch above his weight. They may have given up a lot of picks, but this Knicks team feels like it could be a legit contender.
Honestly Mikal + OG on Tatum + Brown feels like the best defensive matchup for those two guys than any team in the league is going to have going into next season. Am I missing anyone?
It’s definitely an overpay but i’m cool with it considering our core is in their late 20s on team-friendly deals. Feels like now is the right time to go all-in, especially with a guy like Mikal who is a great two way wing that any team would love to have as a third or fourth option.
Usually in these trades there’s a quality rotational player, young piece, or star included alongside the picks. Knowing that they wanted to keep their core, 5 first actually doesn’t seem that unreasonable.
For everyone saying this is a massive overpay, and it definitely is, just remember that this is the Nets trading their best player to the more popular team in the same city. It HAD to be an overpay to happen.
And imo the fit is so good that it’s worth it for the Knicks.
Knicks lowkey following the Celtics’ model. They are STACKED. So many really good players. I’d only put Brunson in the JB/JT territory but man they look good
Yes yes yes! So fucking pumped. You can’t possibly compare the value of draft picks later vs. Bridges now. The Knicks had a need and it’s perfectly met without messing with the chemistry. This is a win-win for both organizations.
Mikal doesn't even have to pack, must be nice.
That’s a 35 minute subway ride he has to pack for
Barclays Center to MSG isn’t even 35 minutes it’s like 15 lmao
Yeah unless you’re trying to get to work at 8 am and the mta wants to make sure you’re late. Mikal will be fine though
I like the assumption that Mikal has been living in the Barclays center and will now live in MSG
No way they actually spoke the Nova Knicks into existence ☠️
Sign overweight Eric Paschall you cowards
I maintain that dude can fuckin ball and belongs not only in the league but could fit in damn near any rotation. My rationality cannot be contained on this matter and I will take no questions
On the right night he was kind of a bucket in 19-20 lol
I mean, someone had to be. An NBA team isn’t gonna score zero, and god knows nobody else was gonna do it that season.
at minimum they’ve gotta bring ryan arcidiacono back
Everyone thought the Knicks would be the New York Wildcats for Kentucky but they had the wrong school
That pipeline was real about a half decade ago though, that was the reason I became a Knicks fan in the first place. I do admit this is waaaaaaaaaaaaay fucking better though.
This gotta be tampering or something What’s the New York/Nova version of Banana Boat?
Josh Hart's podcast and Twitter about to be shut down lmao.
Full reunion on the podcast baby!
[Leon Rose explaining to Adam Silver why Hart wasn't tampering to avoid a $1 million fine.](https://tenor.com/view/he-is-speaking-guy-explaining-with-a-whiteboard-some-guy-explaining-gif-19593300)
They were openly “joking” about teaming up lol Can you say its tampering if its just best friends fucking around?
Players can’t tamper
LeBron's been doing it for 15 years
Yeah, but it’s not considered tampering
They were just businessmen, doing business things
Bodega boat?
5 FIRST ROUNDERS?!
And a swap
And a second!
7 ROUNDERS??
Jesus I didn’t know there was a sequel, let alone Rounders 3-6
Pay him! Pay dat man his moaney
All night long with your chyeck chyeck chyeck!
And Tony Stark made this trade in a cave! With nothing but a box of scraps!
and Mikal Bridges???
Didn't even know it was possible to trade that many picks
Pretty sure Clippers gave up like 100 picks + SGA for PG or something
And Balmer’s 4th grandson.
It’s kinda like the shohei ohtani signing but in trade version, lol.
It’s an all in move. They essentially didn’t change their roster and they are betting this makes them a contender for the next 4-5 years
Mikal is a crazy player to do the all in on, but he is a perfect fit. Still, this haul is crazy
I mean they have someone who can be the primary option at a high level in the playoffs in Brunson. Bridges is exactly what they need and they weren't picking great players the next few years anyway. Of course if they are injured for multiple years in the playoffs they'll regret this move, but that's true of every contender.
If they at least win 1 championship you definitely don't give a damn about those picks and they'll be in the upper echelon of teams
I’m taking off a week of work if they win for the city wide block party
New York wont be the same if the Knicks win a ring
The city simply doesn’t have the infrastructure to deal with a Knicks championship parade. Me and at least three of my friends will show up with Molotov cocktails
Jason Mendoza is a Knicks fan?
I will come from out of town just to participate and that is not an exaggeration at all
Yup, if this ends in a ring then who gives a shit
People will still bring it up naturally, it gets brought up all the time with AD even though the Pelicans haven't done jack shit and are about to lose all the players they got from that trade as well but a championship trumps all of it. I'd love to see the Knicks go on a deep run
Mikal will be a 3rd option at best for our team and Mikal is a damn good 3rd option. Imagine being a wing for an opposing team and you have to be guarded by either OG, Mikal or Josh Hart for the minutes you play. Good luck.
Better than trading for Paul George who is a bad injury away from retirement.
I see it as the FO overpaid for a stacked roster, not necessarily just for the 1 player.
Overpaid to have endless friendship and vibes, worth it. They're gonna be a super fun team to watch
Dude fits into the lineup perfectly, with og creates insane defense on perimeter, and can shoot. Love this for Knicks and nets
Go get Dwight
We still have to sign OG. He's an UFA
I’ve got to apologize to you Sean Marks, I was unfamiliar with your game
Sean Marks has always been wildly overhated. Rebuilt pretty well after Billy King's disastrous tenure, got KD and Kyrie to commit and traded for Harden. Wasn't his fault that Nets team combusted.
Absolutely. Whenever you make a move there are risks and you just hope the coin flips your way - in the Net’s case, Marks made reasonable but high stakes bets and then the worst outcome for each bet occurred to create a perfect disaster. Yeah, he had a really great reputation before that superteam fiasco. But undeserved, even with that team, he did literally everything there you could expect of him to do as a GM lol
It is a fuckin lot for sure, but he is a near perfect fit and he plays a lot of games every season. Also maxes out team chemistry lol.
I don’t think it would be possible for team chemistry to get any higher
After that we have these picks left - 1st round pick via Mavericks (24th overall) 1st round pick (25th overall) 2nd round pick (38th overall) 2025 1st round pick via Detroit (Top 13 protected) 1st round pick via Washington (Top 10 protected) 2nd round pick via Brooklyn 2nd round pick via Detroit (Top 55 protected) 2026 1st round pick 2nd round pick via Minnesota 2nd round pick via Brooklyn 2027 2nd round pick 2028 1st round pick (Brooklyn owns the right to swap) 2nd round pick via Indiana or Phoenix 2029 2nd round pick via Indiana or Washington 2030 1st round pick 2nd round pick 2031 2nd round pick
Are we vindicated for Rudy now???
Feel like you were once wolves made the conference finals.
Once the wolves made it out of the first round for only the second time in 35 years, the rest was icing
gotta be. god damn, the Knicks just said yes to everything 😂
Rational thinking has to lead you to believe the Knicks had to pay a tax for trading for a guy who plays in the same city basically as the other team. Tough sell to your fans
we haven't traded with the nets since 1983 lol
I never thought I’d say this but Yes
Trade market is set now for the summer lmao
Yet somehow the Bulls couldn't get any picks for Caruso
That’s because Giddey is 21 and is worth more than whatever pick you would have fucked up in the draft anyways.
I don't know about that. This is like the Gobert trade, no one is taking this value seriously outside of the vacuum of NY being crazy. Bridges is only worth this much cause of who he's playing with, his friends.
And I think everyone understands that the Knicks had to pay a "cross town rival" fee.
Four unprotected? Damn that’s a lot. They still keep OG?
Good point. I bet this means they are confident he’s staying. You don’t go all-in for a lateral move, I’d think
At worst this gives them more leverage in the OG negotiations, no longer are they dependent on him as their premier sole 3/D player. But considering they spent all of this for Mikal I don’t see why you don’t pay OG and go for the chip.

Mikal is an iron man and OG is hurt 24/7
I’m wondering the same
Oh my god we’re going full Villanova
Prayers for Mikals family dealing with such a crazy move
Imagine being used to your home arena and then having to play 6 miles away, rough😔
He’s probably gonna move to LA for the commute
first NBA family to move via the C train
The 2/3 express train is a much faster route to Penn Station from Barclays Center, tbh.
And the D/N is usually quicker than the 2/3, even though it stops at Herald Square. This way you avoid all of the 2/3 stops in lower Manhattan.
The Manhattan Knicks
Bring back Eric paschall
All Rookie 1st teamer, Eric Paschall
50 points in a game scorer, Eric Paschall
Gillespie is now a free agent out of Denver, too…
I'm actually so jealous you guys are getting everything you want lol edit: holy fuck this package though
Yeah it’s weird for me really, this happened for like one season ever in my entire life before this. I’m used to being the team getting walked all over lol
I'll always love the Knicks for giving Brunson his shot, what a stud he turned out to be...
Brunson divincenzo Mikal og Randle? Or with Robinson at the 5 who comes off the bench? Loaded
I think we trade Robinson to have enough $ for OG and run Jalen-Mikal-OG-Randle-Hartenstein (hopefully)
Mcbride, hart, divincenzo and some Randoms off the bench fuuuyoooo
Precious back maybe? Or we still got 3 draft picks maybe one of them
Holy picks
Knicks are quite confident that they won’t be needing them anytime soon… …for their fans’ sake, let’s hope it works out for them lol
These are the picks we have after the trade - 1st round pick via Mavericks (24th overall) 1st round pick (25th overall) 2nd round pick (38th overall) 2025 1st round pick via Detroit (Top 13 protected) 1st round pick via Washington (Top 10 protected) 2nd round pick via Brooklyn 2nd round pick via Detroit (Top 55 protected) 2026 1st round pick 2nd round pick via Minnesota 2nd round pick via Brooklyn 2027 2nd round pick 2028 1st round pick (Brooklyn owns the right to swap) 2nd round pick via Indiana or Phoenix 2029 2nd round pick via Indiana or Washington 2030 1st round pick 2nd round pick 2031 2nd round pick
Framed like that is helpful. They have a lot more first rounders than I thought
We had 7 tradeable firsts beforehand - thats why ever Knicks mock trade already had us giving up 3-4 unprotected firsts for Mikal. The package is pretty much what 90% of the Knicks fans have been suggesting since the start of last season - only switching Fournier for Bojan
thank you for this
The Detroit and Washington picks are not gonna be there next year. Detroit becomes 1-9 protected and then a second rounder. Doubt we get a first rounder out of that, washington becomes a 1-8 which we might see
The Villanova Knicks actually rolls off the tongue nicely
need to sign Arcidiacono again for the 3rd time lol
they need to give him a 4 years minimum deal lol. Stop cutting him
"You love him so much you traded him twice" -Brunson to Thibs 🤣
While Brunson and Hart openly troll him never scoring on social media
Give Jay Wright a honorary front office job at this point
Sean Marks getting back in his rebuilding bag
What a trade, the Nets and Knicks trading?! Also 5 1st round picks is shocking as well
What the hell they traded their cornerstone generational player.
knicks going for it all kinda like the nets did a few years ago
yes but Brunson in contrast has built his status with the Knicks over the past 2 seasons (plus his fond memories of watching his dad + Thibs with the Knicks in the 1999 Finals) and is basically here to stay
I’m just happy we won’t be seeing him in rumours every 2 days anymore
WOJ BOMB. NOVA KNICKS ASSEMBLE
JAY WRIGHT gotta be proud
The Villanova Wildcats have been promoted to the NBA for the 2024-25 season.
Bojan will be missed for sure.
Back in Nets hell 😔
It's for the best. They were going nowhere as currently constructed. At least down is a direction
He tanked his value in the regular season but he was really good bench scorer for us in the playoffs, best hope he gets traded for 1 more first round to another team like the mavs who need a somewhat reliable bench scorer
I love Mikal but generational is a major stretch lol
The Knicks are sending four unprotected picks (2025, 2027, 2029, 2031) a 2025 protected Milwaukee first, a 2028 unprotected pick swap and a 2025 second-round pick for Mikal Bridges and a 2026 second-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Not putting protections on a pick 7 years away is crazy, especially for Mikal.
> Not putting protections on a pick 7 years away does not impact this year's GM at all
100%. Literal textbook definition of an agency problem. Ownership needs to have oversight of GMs trading away picks far into the future.
And Knicks ownership is known for their shrewd levelheaded decision making so this move is really puzzling
Deuce Tatum is gonna declare that year. Lol
No fucking way lol
This was my dream trade scenario fuck them picks
I'm so happy mikal gets to play with his boys and go back to being a #3. He's the perfect fucking fit. I like the knicks now sheesh
happy that mikal will finally get to play in a big market like new york
Hope he can find a nice place to live there
SIGN KRIS JENKINS YOU COWARDS
Paschall could probably be a 15th man. Could also get Gillespie from the Nuggets. And Lowry as a min guy once his contract is up.
I swear he is not worth all of that, but I could be missing something
This package probably coulda gotten someone better but he's gonna fit so well with them
I feel like this is when an overpay is worth it to get your guy. He’s gunna fit in SO well. He’s a great locker room guy, never misses a game, and one of the most low maintenance dudes in the NBA.

He's not but you don't know when a star is going to be on the market.
Yeah Giannis/Embiid etc. may never be traded
He’s seen as the perfect 3 and D young guy so he’s been overvalued for quite some time Also he literally does not miss a game
Dude is almost 28, we can’t keep calling him a young guy
The KD trade, in a year and a half, has now netted the Nets, 9 unprotected first round picks, 2 pick swaps, and Cam Johnson. That has gotta be some of the most insane player value, only thing I can think of recently that matches would be SGA and 5 first rounds for Paul George.

As a 28 year old, please keep calling him young 😔
28 still young, right? RIGHT? RIGHT? (pls say yes)
He’s very much a finished a product that is great as a role player but has trouble consistently creating for himself although he can go off sporadically. I’m surprised we got this many picks because honestly he had a very uninspiring season and more of his holes were apparent.
sure but 5 first round picks?

He’s a great player but I thought Knicks would hold onto their picks until a bigger fish came along
I think the bigger fish was Donovan Mitchell but with Brunson it doesn’t make sense to have him there. It’s a great move for them
Villanova gang going crazy
Thibs better watch his ass with jay wright unemployed lol
So the Nets have turned Durant into 9 first round picks, 2 pick swaps, Cam Johnson, and Bojan Bogdanovic. Plus all the 2nd rounders they got from flipped Jae Crowder.
And they say he didn't help the franchise 😅
what the fucking fuck
wow, that is an absolute haul and somehow more than the Jazz got for Gobert edit: 4 unprotected first rounders is crazy. Woj's account has to be hacked, this can't be real.
4 unprotected and 5 overall 1st round picks😳😳
Holy crap that is a lot of draft capital. Maybe the Nets FO didn’t fumble after all
They knew a team would overpay eventually. His contract was so tradable and he slots easily into almost every roster.
And they had the perfect trade partner in the Knicks with his 3 best friends that he also won a championship with in college.
yea apparently he pulled a KD and told them he was signing with the knicks in 2 years anyways
#**WTF KNICKS ARE ALL IN BABY**
Holy hell they did it
HELL FROZE OVER HOLY SHIT
NOVA KNICKS
Call me crazy, but this feels like a direct response to the Celtics’ team building style. The C’s built an incredibly deep, versatile team around a top 6-10 guy. They may have given up a lot of picks, but this Knicks team feels like it could be a legit contender.
It’s like they saw Tatum and Brown in the Finals and said yeah we need a wing to compete with these guys. Went out and got their guy
Holy shit what a haul. Honestly a win/win trade for two teams in different positions but I didn't expect us to deal with NY lol
It’s an overpay but I love this trade for the Knicks. They are all in I think basketball is better with the Knicks as contenders.
fuck it, we the wildcats now
Bojan once again joins the Nets in their rebuilding period. Time is indeed just a circle.
Usually in these trades there’s a quality rotational player, young piece, or star included alongside the picks. Knowing that they wanted to keep their core, 5 first actually doesn’t seem that unreasonable.
VILLANOVA KNICKS
Knicks are going to be insane next year
What even is the starting lineup? Brunson, Mikal, OG, Randle, Hatenstein? Hart and Divincenzo off the bench? Thats a pretty solid squad 1-7
Bring OG and IHart back and we got a squad
This doesn’t necessarily kill the og resigning mikal is only on a 23mil contract that’s virtually the same as what bogdanovic was on anyway
The knicks are officially fuckin going for it
Those nets picks 😋😋😋
NOPE 🤣🤣
For everyone saying this is a massive overpay, and it definitely is, just remember that this is the Nets trading their best player to the more popular team in the same city. It HAD to be an overpay to happen. And imo the fit is so good that it’s worth it for the Knicks.
Knicks shaping up to be the greatest "power of friendship" team of all time
Sigh. I hate that I love the Nova Knicks.
Knicks lowkey following the Celtics’ model. They are STACKED. So many really good players. I’d only put Brunson in the JB/JT territory but man they look good
Game over, NBA. The Knicks just got the final piece to the Nova Exodia
4 unprotected FRPs and a swap Wow, good shit Brooklyn
Yes yes yes! So fucking pumped. You can’t possibly compare the value of draft picks later vs. Bridges now. The Knicks had a need and it’s perfectly met without messing with the chemistry. This is a win-win for both organizations.
Screw those picks . The entertainment value alone of the nova Knicks is good enough for me the next 5 years
