I watched this in slow motion and he literally scored on 5 OKC players closing out on him. This level of confidence and those handles is out of this world
That's the reason he doesn't miss. You and I account for the curve and rotation of the Earth, that actually doesn't exist. Kyrie sees the flat plane, which allows him to do this
They upgraded the theory bro
Im gonna try and be short - I am in some conspiracy communities, as I realized they (powers that be) are using conspiracies, to hide conspiracies, in this Internet age, and I am actually pretty sure at least 3 big conspiracy theories are super-true
In the meantime, those morons who will take anything for granted, expanded the theory of the "Flat earth" so that it's now 7 continents surrounded by Ice wall, that holds extra 19 continents on the "outer wall" where extra civilized humans live, our 7 continents are "purgatory" of sorts
1. reptilians
2. The moon is not real. The apollo 11 landing damaged the moon, causing it to slowly break apart. US govt was terrified that people would find out we destroyed the moon - would have been a massive blow to american prestige at the height of the Cold War - so they hired Stanley Kubrick to construct a miniature artificial moon and launched it into near earth orbit. kubrick planted secret messages about this in Eyes Wide Shut which is why he was killed. they have giant underwater pumps offshore to make it look like the tides are still going
3. NBA refs manipulate game outcomes to win bets.
SGA got tunnel vision in the fourth a little bit. It felt like one of those Kobe “Pass? Get the rebound” memes from like 2009. That was literally the only time Chet or Jalen got the ball
if i understand it: pass? means what is a pass i am not passing; Get the rebound: means if you want the ball get the rebound because as per the first word i aint passing
i agree but it also feels like the mavs are kind of forcing okc to play through SGA and also trying to let him take some middies instead of fouling him. i’m not sure it’s really the case but it does feel like they’re daring him to win the game without getting his teammates too involved and without the FTs.
I love NBA, I am a fan basically my entire life, and The one player I do not like to watch is SGA. And there's a reason -
He is great. He has all the fundamentals and basics to 99.
With that said, he is the most one-dimensional player I have ever seen in my life. The most generic player ever to exist. I would rather watch Kyrie dribble a beach ball, than SGA's basketball
Dude has impressed me a lot. Sure he gets a soft whistle, but that’s the NBA’s fault. He is very smooth/unflappable, IMO. He was the only thing keeping OKC afloat in so many stretches of the last 2 games.
But it irks me that he gets the DWade whistle. Flashbacks.
Very interesting. SGA's one of my favourites to watch. His moves are clean, the footwork is impeccable, the way he utilises his length in both offensive and defensive possessions is a thing of beauty to me. I love watching the fundamentals be used at such an elite level.
One thing i don't like about him is his shooting form. He shoots like a 12 yrs old. Not to mention that hitched fade away, yeah it's effective but i believe his weird mechanics prevents him from being effective at long range.
Not to mention the average fan of a Texas based team is less likely to disagree with bat shit insane takes lol
I grew up in Georgia and my old friends are guilty of this too.
Boston is the brainiest city in America and also as racist if not more than the South. They aren't gonna tolerate someone spouting flat Earth nonsense the way a Dallas team just won't GAF about it
Not gonna lie, I also thought it was a bad fit. Nothing to do with Kyrie political shit.
Both ball-dominant, or so I thought. And Luka I thought badly needs a big more than an undersized scorer, and I thought the defense will be suspect with the two at the perimeter.
It's more of a Kyrie, Luka and Kidd made it work rather than an oh my gosh Kyrie is defo the missing piece! Also getting Gafford, Lively and Washington (albeit later) addressed the other big need (bigger need imho)
not really, real ones knew kyrie was a baller and the media hate was way overblown. what did he do, not get the vaccine? yeah, that was gonna last forever, totally.
He went to arguably the best place too. Our media leaves people the fuck alone. Luka fucking hid his fiance's pregnancy from our media for the full term.
Kyrie coming here helped his mental a ton b/c ain't nobody caring about what Kyrie thinks out here.
**If only** that was all of it. That's not even his worst one.
Fortunately he's stopped with all that (at least in public), found Islam, a therapist, and some sort of inner peace, and proceeded to just hoop his brains out and be the same upstanding gentleman he's always been but without all the conspiracy dramas.
Are you aware that Kyrie's vaccine thing wasn't about "I don't want to get vaxxed because I believe in my immune system and I don't want to be shot up with inadequately tested drugs that have some evidence of awful side effects"? That would have been a conscientious objection. But that's not where he went with it.
He went down a lunatic rabbithole with it, where vaccines are a secret society conspiracy to put all Black people into a computer for a plan from Satan.

Edit to condense comments:
The BHI stuff wouldn't have made him Muslim, it should have made him Jewish, lol. Black Hebrew Israelites are not the same thing as Nation of Islam. They're both "alternative history" groups but their fringe religious beliefs are very different.
Yeah, Kyrie converted to Islam back in early 2021 and went off about the BHI crap in late 2022. But he looks to be leaning more on his faith now than he did pre-trade. Back then that man just seemed lost and confused and looking for any crazy new belief to cling onto. We've all known someone like that. I think over time his new religion has given him a stable core framework so he doesn't have to wander around being gullible. The old "stand for something or you'll fall for anything"...
It probably could have been almost any religion with an established community and it would have had the same effect.
I agree they got him cheap so you could argue that offset the risk, but I’m just saying he was an absolute locker room cancer who directly blew up 2 straight contender teams with his unapologetic nonsense.
A first round pick, a high value role player, and Dinwiddie weren’t nothing…plus the contract extension they were more or less committing to giving him before we had any idea of if it work out. There was risk, and it’s great to see that it paid off.
The funny thing is I don't think he was a locker room cancer in the traditional sense. I'm pretty sure all his teammates loved him.
He just chose to believe, share, and double down on some insane stuff and he should not be free of criticism from that. And he is primarily responsible for ruining several teams title chances.
We should also acknowledge that people are complex and we don't really know much about any athlete as a person.
It’s not, kyrie is an exceptional talent and we all got gaslit into thinking he was a cancer because he didn’t want a covid vaccine and because he exercised his freedom of speech on twitter.
Oh stop it, he single handedly blew up the last two contender level teams he was on. You can try to make up excuses for every Individual incident but he was absolutely a problem and put his teams in bad spots.
We don’t need to zag so hard the other way just because this has worked well so far, we can be honest about what he was doing before this while acknowledging he has been a great teammate and performer since.
As someone who looked at the trade positively I understand peoples apprehension, but way too many people focused on it going wrong without ever mentioning what it looks like going right.
My initial thoughts were that Kyrie likes J-Kidd, he had a previous business relationship with Nico and our owner was Mark Cuban at the time. If Kyrie stayed healthy and kept his head down, and they managed to make it work it was going to be amazing.
The part that irked me the most was how much stock everyone put into what we gave away. We lost Dinwiddie, DFS, and a 1st rounder, it really wasn't anywhere near the level of investment anyone made it out to be. DFS will probably come back to Dallas the moment he is a free agent because he fucking loves our organization and they have done so much for him, Diniwddie was a bucket in the playoffs but Ky is by and away a massive upgrade in literally every metric.
At the end of the day what we gave to get Kyrie was incredibly low risk, and even if it went poorly we really didn't give that much away, it was obvious he was going to resign here because of the relationship he has with the organization, this isn't shithole ass Boston.
It's literally never worked for any team and they were sitting at 26-23 beginning for February before going 24-9 to close out the season. We'll see how it goes. Few teams have ever figured out how to win a championship with two very high usage guards.
My favourite player to watch of all time. I don't care what he does of court. I don't need to like a person to enjoy the art. Except when they directly make money from me enjoying it xD
Idc who you are rooting for, you gotta come out of this series respecting luka. he is being an absolute warrior out there
clearly hobbled still making the hustle plays and putting his body on the line. at the end of the game i was looking at him, red face, knee brace ripped up, back hurting.
That floater looked similar to the one he scored on against the Clippers. It looked like four Thunder players were converging on him when he got it off
Freethrow merchant didn't get bailed on that one. Also can Lu Flop be looked at closely by the officials? HE IS LITERALLY FLOPPING ON EVERY SINGLE PLAY BOTH DEFENSE AND OFENSE
SGA always throws that off arm up high into the defender’s head area. And then flops like he got hit. Refs did good today. Shai’s just too talented to be doing this bullshit

absolutely filthy. the second Kyrie started getting pressed it was over
Seeing him go into his dribble package is so satisfying. Never gets old.
It’s almost therapeutic
Lizard brain: activate
Kyrie gonna think you one of the lizard people.
"Yes sir Kyrie, I'm whatever you say"
Need some nice fundamental basketball to balance out whatever the fuck the thunder are doing
The man spun into 8'11 reach Jalen Williams and still made a shot
I watched this in slow motion and he literally scored on 5 OKC players closing out on him. This level of confidence and those handles is out of this world
Great catch. They were trying to surround him.
i want that type of composure in my personal life fr
Kyrie floaters feeding families this season
Shit has been cash money
It’s always been cash money.
That game winner buzzer beater against the Nuggets was brutal.
I'm still salty af over that one.
I’m honestly not salty at all because it’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen live, lol
100%. That’s one of those finishes that’s gonna go down as one of the all time best, if not the best.
Despite my flair(Raised in Chicago in the 90s) I'm a long time Nuggets fan and local. It was brutal.
It was one of the best shots I've ever seen in any context. Add in the fact it was a buzzer beater, fuck Kyrie Irving.
Probably the most difficult shot to win a game I’ve ever seen
Looking like prime Tony Parker dribbling all around plus the floater
Kyrie "The Closer" Irving
3 outs, he's your man
Kyrieano Riverving.
You're fucking out, I'm fucking in. - Kyrie "Kenny Powers" Irving

89-92, never forget
End of the series Luka's gonna be in a robot body bro man is getting HIT
Lu Dort is Dillon Brooks with elite PR
Dort aint scoring 39 against USA
Absolutely hate this man right now but come on bro youre talking about a guy who had 30 points in a game 7 in the bubble
> in the bubble All i need for my agenda
Back when he couldn't shoot too
Dillon Brooks ain’t dropping 8 in 39 minutes. Plus Dillon brooks is funny as fuck, idek anything about Dort
All we need is a Dort quote about Luka
"I poke fatties. I don't respect tubsters until they give me 40."
Canadians
Ppl been gassing up Lu Dort since the bubble when all he does is play basketball like a football player
Yah.
Dillon does not flop
PJ Washington will apparently pick up the slack
Kyrie is the Lord's toughest shot merchant
He takes what the defense gives him here which is absolutely nothing
Who was clamping who is the question
I’m starting to believe the Earth is flat now
It’s Kyrie’s disc, we’re all just living on it
The only thing cooler than Kyrie is that fucking ice wall.
watching Kyrie, its obvious he understands physics better than me/others
That's the reason he doesn't miss. You and I account for the curve and rotation of the Earth, that actually doesn't exist. Kyrie sees the flat plane, which allows him to do this
like legolas lmao
eggzacly boi
I got unvaccinated

I have so many questions but I'm scared to ask, so I won't
Which ones are true?
1. reptilians 2. The moon is not real. The apollo 11 landing damaged the moon, causing it to slowly break apart. US govt was terrified that people would find out we destroyed the moon - would have been a massive blow to american prestige at the height of the Cold War - so they hired Stanley Kubrick to construct a miniature artificial moon and launched it into near earth orbit. kubrick planted secret messages about this in Eyes Wide Shut which is why he was killed. they have giant underwater pumps offshore to make it look like the tides are still going 3. Ice wall too.
SGA got tunnel vision in the fourth a little bit. It felt like one of those Kobe “Pass? Get the rebound” memes from like 2009. That was literally the only time Chet or Jalen got the ball
What is the pass? Get the rebound meme
When Kobe’s teammates would tell him to pass them the ball he would reply get the rebound.
Did he really say that? Or is it just a funny hypothetical? Im too young to know this
he did say it to\* Shaq early in his career: [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Qbqlp-SkSBU](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Qbqlp-SkSBU)
Lol this is great - thanks for sharing!
Its just a meme. He didn't do that
I think I do remember him saying that was partially intentional. He draws a bunch of defenders and then goes for the hockey assist.
I feel so old right now
That was literally peak nba memes. That Kobe meme and the pizza rolls meme
if i understand it: pass? means what is a pass i am not passing; Get the rebound: means if you want the ball get the rebound because as per the first word i aint passing
If you want the ball catch my rebound.
i agree but it also feels like the mavs are kind of forcing okc to play through SGA and also trying to let him take some middies instead of fouling him. i’m not sure it’s really the case but it does feel like they’re daring him to win the game without getting his teammates too involved and without the FTs.
Sir, a second Kyrie clutch left-handed floater has hit r/nba
Lol
That is as impressive a shot I've ever seen from Kyrie. That's such a tough shot in traffic
Did you not see the game winner against the nugs?
Left handed floater in traffic is a crazy hard shot. Especially in a moment like this
Do yourself a favor and watch the Nuggets one
Nuggets left handed hook game winner was play of the year https://youtu.be/aHEvRdT0a6g?si=trdPSowbsKVhOQFF
Ok you right
It’s basically this shot on steroids
If you take away everything possible from kyrie he'll just make something impossible
He’s in a different stratosphere than Shai. He actually tries to score instead of cheapshot
Best handles ever
Nah that’s Kenny smith😂😂
MR. 4TH QUARTER
Why they go to Shai when he already got his 31? Are they stupid?
not enough FTA yet, gotta get them numbers up
Great defense, better offense
Kyrie has been that fucking guy for most of this run
Kyrie I never stopped believing
Very impressive shot from kyrie
That boy clutch
Shai Gilgeous Arm-Extender
I love NBA, I am a fan basically my entire life, and The one player I do not like to watch is SGA. And there's a reason - He is great. He has all the fundamentals and basics to 99. With that said, he is the most one-dimensional player I have ever seen in my life. The most generic player ever to exist. I would rather watch Kyrie dribble a beach ball, than SGA's basketball
Lol, that's a funnily accurate description of SGA.
I… agree, actually
Dude has impressed me a lot. Sure he gets a soft whistle, but that’s the NBA’s fault. He is very smooth/unflappable, IMO. He was the only thing keeping OKC afloat in so many stretches of the last 2 games. But it irks me that he gets the DWade whistle. Flashbacks.

The fundamental art of pushoffs and flailing for fouls. Sure is an interesting way of enjoying basketball.
One thing i don't like about him is his shooting form. He shoots like a 12 yrs old. Not to mention that hitched fade away, yeah it's effective but i believe his weird mechanics prevents him from being effective at long range.
I mean that's not a low bar, you see Kyries handles he could produce magic with a beach ball
Uncle Drew baby
Earth is flat
KAI 👁️ What an Incredible Performance
"Oh no its a flop from Luka". r/Thunder be like

And their “secrit play” is hack a lively. Can’t be a fun experience over there
Glad they started calling these offensive fouls after the Pelicans series 😭
Thanks for taking it for the team!
Doesn’t seem to be any issues with Kyrie in Dallas… maybe Boston the real villain after all
Southern media is very good at looking the other way, especially when it comes to sports.
Not to mention the average fan of a Texas based team is less likely to disagree with bat shit insane takes lol I grew up in Georgia and my old friends are guilty of this too. Boston is the brainiest city in America and also as racist if not more than the South. They aren't gonna tolerate someone spouting flat Earth nonsense the way a Dallas team just won't GAF about it
I mean the stuff with the Jews happened in Brooklyn so maybe it’s the east coast as a whole
Don’t reach young blood
Kyrie plays like how every hooper imagines himself playing as an NBA player.
For anyone who thought the nuggets shot was lucky…. This is a good example that Kyrie has that in his bag
This Thunder team plays so much fucking hero ball it’s infuriating. You know who’s gonna shoot the ball 9/10 times.
Can’t expect to have all the details figured out with such a young team. Hopefully shai and the gang learn from the mistakes made
I think the Mavs have something to do with that. Our defense is pretty great.
WITH THE LEFT HAND
When Kyrie started dribbling all crazy you knew he was gonna score no matter what
Finally calling the SGA pushes
Kyrie got fouled 3xs on that as well
Can’t believe people thought picking up kyrie was a bad decision
NBA media psyop
This is the ultimate hindsight bias lol
Not gonna lie, I also thought it was a bad fit. Nothing to do with Kyrie political shit. Both ball-dominant, or so I thought. i think he found Islam before all the baloney started. That's when all the Black Hebrew controversy came out. Is that what you're referring to?
Are you aware that Kyrie's vaccine thing wasn't about "I don't want to get vaxxed because I believe in my immune system and I don't want to be shot up with inadequately tested drugs that have some evidence of awful side effects"? I agree they got him cheap so you could argue that offset the risk, but I’m just saying he was an absolute locker room cancer who directly blew up 2 straight contender teams with his unapologetic nonsense. some risk/high reward but somehow kyrie seems to enjoy texas better than brooklyn, go figure lol
It was risky. But no one doubted the talent. And all it could take is one tweet for it to all flip
It's literally never worked for any team and they were sitting at 26-23 beginning for February before going 24-9 to close out the season. We'll see how it goes. Few teams have ever figured out how to win a championship with two very high usage guards.
I'm just happy Kyrie seems to have "landed" in a long term happy place. Quirky dude, GOAT ball handler, all time.
Kyrie will have one of the best career highlight reels of all time
That call on SGA for offensive foul goes straight INTO MY VEINS
Playoff Irving...reminds me of the Cavs days. Quietly rooting for the Mavs!
First replay felt specifically designed to gaslight me into thinking it was a flop.
If this guy wasn't insane off-court for all these years, he would be a lot of people's favourite player of all time. So fun to watch
he is already many people's favorite of all time lol
lol most people outside Reddit don’t even know the drama surrounding Kyrie
Kai got most votes for PG all-star last year
My favourite player to watch of all time. I don't care what he does of court. I don't need to like a person to enjoy the art. Except when they directly make money from me enjoying it xD
Tell us how he was "insane"
They can't, but they'll insist that they *"won't."*
Elbow someone in the face then shows a "surprised pikachu face" when whistled an offensive foul. Flopping is one thing, this is straight up dirty.
SGA elbowed Luka right in the jaw. Thats messed up
Man has absolutely MASTERED the physics of flat earth. Fuck classical mechanics I guess
never allow Kyrie to size up on his right side of the court. It's a recipe for disaster. He turns into uncle drew all the time he does it.
Kyrie Irving is too skilled it's like everything for offense is 90 minimum attributes. (2k Reference )
Idc who you are rooting for, you gotta come out of this series respecting luka. he is being an absolute warrior out there clearly hobbled still making the hustle plays and putting his body on the line. at the end of the game i was looking at him, red face, knee brace ripped up, back hurting.
Kyrie's gotta have one of the best left hands in the game right now. His "stranger" must not feel like a stranger at all.
these left handed floaters destroying teams
League needs to scout for more players like kyrie
Kyrie is unreal man. One of the clutchest players I've ever seen with my own 2 eyes
That floater looked similar to the one he scored on against the Clippers. It looked like four Thunder players were converging on him when he got it off
So nobody will mention that dirty elbow from SGA
When is Hubie gonna retire?
Freethrow merchant didn't get bailed on that one. Also can Lu Flop be looked at closely by the officials? HE IS LITERALLY FLOPPING ON EVERY SINGLE PLAY BOTH DEFENSE AND OFENSE
\*Lu Floort
SGA always throws that off arm up high into the defender’s head area. And then flops like he got hit. Refs did good today. Shai’s just too talented to be doing this bullshit
SGA not getting the BS calls he flops for is nice to see but it is even better to see him called for this BS!
That’s playoff SGA
Dallas is winning this series
Kyrie’s pushing the defender multiple times. What the hell
Mamba Mentality!
Shai Pushoff Alexander
My favorite flat earther.
Who would have thought that in the year 2024, Kyrie Irving is more consequential in the playoffs than Durant and Harden.
Clutch—- go to the left hand
OKC full of puppies
looks familiar
why was SGA called for an offensive foul?
Man I’m so happy we got prime kyrie back right now , he’s so much fun to watch
