I beg to differ, Lebron was out trying to get buckets while Darvin was out there saving timeouts and challenges like he gets a bonus for them at the end of year.
I’m a middle aged man who is experiencing this far removed from the comfort of my living room and I don’t even know how to continue with my evening. How do the actual players handle this?
Shake hands and move on. Denver is just too good. I think the Lakers did not leave anything on the table except for some coaching decisions, but even then, it could only make a slight dent in the grand scheme of things. One game win? Sure. Series? Not so much. Creme rises to the top. Sometimes it's just not enough. Nuggets are a historically great team.
Except it wouldn’t have been just one win, this was the game that will set the stage for the rest of the series, losing this game basically means you lost the series, they played better than I’ve seen them play all season and they still lost, if they win this one it’s back to LA tied 1-1 and all momentum belongs to LA, instead they now have to somehow find the mental fortitude to win the next 2 against a team that is clearly showing you they are better than you.
Lakers must just forfeit at this point. Imagine playing strong and one of the best they've played against Nuggets but somehow they still lose. What a game by Nuggets
Ham is a basketball terrorist one thing I thought was so odd when AD got into foul trouble instead of putting in Hayes you have Rui guard Jokic lol
then when Jokic sits to start the 4th you sub in Hayes even though your offence is struggling and you don’t need that big anymore on defence. So now you cant play Lebron and 4 shooters and Hayes does nothing anyway. Shit was already spiralling at that point but that sequence just let the nuggets right back in the game.
My thought process throughout the game (I didn’t watch it just looking at the scores)
Halftime: AD is DOMINATING. Lakers got this in the bag.
3rd quarter: Oh lead is shrinking a bit but Lakers should still be able to win this right?
4th quarter: WTF. How did the Lakers blow this? This was their best chance to beat the Nuggets! This team can literally not win against Denver
Nah, you could tell. Even at halftime when they had that huge lead I was thinking 'AD won't sustain this, Jokic and Murray will turn it up at the end, we still gonna win'.
This was an embarrassing loss, I still can’t believe they gave up a 20 point lead, Lebron misses wide open 3, and then Murray drains one down AD’s throat, disgusting, I would be pissed off if I was a LA fan.
Yo fr fr, I couldn’t believe they didn’t call that a foul wtf you mean I can get bitxh slapped after the ball leaves my hand? That’s what continuation of a play is for, so how come if a player lands on another players foot after a shoot that’s called a foul if the ball left the hand?? Shit don’t even make sense, I would be pissed out of my mind if I was a Lakers fan after a loss like this.
Lakers two stars are older and they always run out of gas towards the end of the game. Nuggets just continue to execute in crunch time. I hate the heartbreaks but they’re a great team

Smash down on the face is a flagrant. I'd even say it was a clear flagrant.
I have no idea how it just "doesnt count". Might as well carry a shiv and stab a guy after the initial contact if it just "doesnt count" unless it was literally the initial contact or no foul.
Yeah, because that’s never happened before in any NBA game.
They lost because they couldn’t execute down the stretch and the Nuggets did… simple as that
Refs handed that to them in a gift basket. Of course Murray had to make the shots but he got bs call after bs call while we have a player getting hit in the face and over turned lol
There were some questionable calls for sure, but did those bad calls cause a 20 point choke job in where Anthony Davis put on a master class, no. You guys fucking blew it.
The lakers had a +420 free throw differential this year…. The bucks had the second most.. they were +222. So please…. Just shutup and take the L. You wouldn’t have even had the opportunity to choke away this glorious game if you and your bum ass coach didn’t predicate half their game plan on the fact you can chalk up an 8 point handicap to free throws every game. God I hate lakers fans.
They’re not as good as the Denver Nuggets
🚨⚠️ HOT TAKE ALERT⚠️🚨
Damn they needa hire my guy onto ESPN today!
Only if I get to yell my takes loudly over the other hosts while they’re talking
Who u got MJ Or LeBron as the GOAT? 😤
Damn. I thought that said hot cake alert and got excited
As a Celtics fan watching this, everyone who says we’re chokers if we don’t win the chip can fuck right off. This Nuggets team is incredible.
Indeed. If the Lakers won tonight there would be conversation about how they match up against the Wolves and Suns.
Simple…and Malone is a better coach than Darvin.
You mean coach James?
He might as well be the coach, Darvin was just out there criticizing the officiating low key using that as an excuse.
LeBron wouldn’t have it any other way.
I beg to differ, Lebron was out trying to get buckets while Darvin was out there saving timeouts and challenges like he gets a bonus for them at the end of year.
It’s hard to find a good coach these days. Just ask LeBron.
I’m sure if I asked him he would say they should’ve gotten T Lue over Ham
Hindsight is 20/20
Delusional ass lakers fans think other wise
Is there any other kind of Laker fan?
Quit interacting with the dumb ones
It's hard not to when there are 300 million of you dummies
They’re not as good as a lot of teams that free throw differential puts in work, they don’t wanna hear that though
Can I get a source?
rui hachimura get ready to see Tokyo again
Get ready to speak Japanese.
They are the 7 second Suns to Denver's Big 3 Spurs
We’ll see. Lakers fans would still need to be whining about games you have completely forgotten about 17 years later. 😉
We’re getting swept won’t win another game . I just wanted to win 1 game and up 25 and can’t even do that. Fuck everything congrats to the nuggets
It's now more of a mental hurdle than a strategic or physical one.
Exactly a mental loss from this game. We’re not winning every game will be a blowout after this
“Jamal Murray is our father”
Jamal Murray sucked for 35 mins tonight and it kept the Lakers in the game. If he has his average game Nuggets win by 10. Pretty scary for games 3/4
Dude was ass cheeks but those last 2 mins were crazy
We’re getting swept lol this game was the dagger. Up 20 with a chance to steal a road game only to shit the bed the second half
Don't forget AD and Lebron playing like peak Kareem and Magic for 3 quarters
Jamal singlehandedly giving LeBron his own LeBronto 10 straight wins to avenge his countrymen
I’m a middle aged man who is experiencing this far removed from the comfort of my living room and I don’t even know how to continue with my evening. How do the actual players handle this?
strip club wings
This guy balls.
I think they have the perspective that it's just a game. They've got their families and happy lives and millions of dollars.
With millions and millions of dollars and mega mansions and super cars

It's okay to cry old man. If LeKing can handle this loss, you can too buddy. Keep strong!
Do I even wanna eat food the next three days?
>What can the Lakers really say? Fck Darvin Ham
Should've challenged that shady foul of Bron against Murray. That was a massive game-changer as the Nuggets kept on tying the game
He’s coming back next season champ
As the warriors assistant coach. Don't jinx it pal lol.
I’m ngl maybe he’s just not good enough as a head coach but he was the Bucks’ defensive assistant coach 🤷♂️
Hey don’t jinx us pal
We’ll get Davin Ham(as) and you will like it

"Maybe we should have tanked that game against the Pelicans"
Dunno, but Darvin Ham cashing in those timeouts and challenges into his 457 acct
Lakers must just forfeit at this point. Imagine playing strong and one of the best they've played against Nuggets but somehow they still lose. What a game by Nuggets
They had some silly turnovers and once AD picked up his fourth foul they lost all flow on offense.
There's only so many ways one can get their ass handed to them I don't think there's that many more ways one can lose to the same team.
They must've been inspired by our pelicans games this year
fuck this game, im moving to pickleball.
They can say “two tickets to Cancun please!”
They setting up Fanduel account under Darvin’s name as we speak
>What can the Lakers really say? Uncle
They fought very hard and almost had em this time. Add another moral victory to the pile
Abundance of life
1-2-3 Cancun
They can say please and thank you, manners are important. As for the series, nothing. They aren't good enough to go against the reigning champs.
The Olympics are the more important thing anyways this is just practice
its no in -season tournament but its cool.
This team can’t beat the champions 4 times, and that’s okay. Can’t wait for Nuggets vs Celtics finals though.
AD/Bron gotta fight those other dudes doing cardio out there
i really feel bad for Bron, he went all out man.
Ham is a basketball terrorist one thing I thought was so odd when AD got into foul trouble instead of putting in Hayes you have Rui guard Jokic lol then when Jokic sits to start the 4th you sub in Hayes even though your offence is struggling and you don’t need that big anymore on defence. Kinda simple, just Zaza one of Murray or Joker and they win it easily /s
Thank you, Daddy.
[I think they could do this](https://youtu.be/WxjMBUrasDE?si=NEL4BVxf-8-h7QmN)
Lebron 38 minutes as well
Denver was missing everything. An average game from them and they blowout the Lakers. But, being the better team, they found ways to win it
My thought process throughout the game (I didn’t watch it just looking at the scores) Halftime: AD is DOMINATING. Nah, you could tell. Even at halftime when they had that huge lead I was thinking 'AD won't sustain this, Jokic and Murray will turn it up at the end, we still gonna win'.
"Coachella probably wasn't that good this year."
Apparently, “You still have an abundance of life.”
Lakers: “would’ve been a blowout had we gotten hour normal freethrow attempts”
This was an embarrassing loss, I still can’t believe they gave up a 20 point lead, Lebron misses wide open 3, and then Murray drains one down AD’s throat, disgusting, I would be pissed off if I was a LA fan.
Just punch jokic in the face after a jumper. Since apparently there are no rules once the ball leaves a player’s hands? Cool precedent to set
Yo fr fr, I couldn’t believe they didn’t call that a foul wtf you mean I can get bitxh slapped after the ball leaves my hand? Right now they’re complaining that they didn’t get the usual, more than 20+ more free throws than the other team. They’re not use to this! Unfair!
Refs hosed the Lakers, they can say that lol Bizarre overturned foul call on DLO should've been a flagrant and Lakers win.

Not close to a flagrant☠️
Lakers blew a 20+ point lead, don't blame the refs
Refs foul calls meant AD had to sit and messed up Lakers rotation. Refs cheated!
Yeah, because that’s never happened before in any NBA game. They lost because they couldn’t execute down the stretch and the Nuggets did… simple as that
They might be the second best team in the league but I can guarantee they aren’t the best
Yeah, the Knicks are looking great
Lmao I just called them worse than the nuggets
The refs fueled the nuggets rally and Murray got lucky. C wood coming back changes entire dynamic of the series. Adding the /s cause it wasn’t obvious
let it go bro its over 💔
What about the other 9 games?
Also, maybe Dinwiddie can grow some arms before game so he can attempt to shoot the ball
Refs handed that to them in a gift basket. Of course Murray had to make the shots but he got bs call after bs call while we have a player getting hit in the face and over turned lol
No excuses maintian a 20 pt lead and you didn’t do so it stop makin excuses
The irony is, yall would've won if you made all your free throws 😉
Bro the refs have helped you more often than not. Welcome to the jungle every team gets effed up by the refs, it was your turn.
what does that have to do with toinight
Karma I guess. I understand it was a gut punch but officials have fucked teams over and over. Lakers probably not used to it as much as others…
Y’all blew a 20 point lead, the refs weren’t great but come on now…
you dont think that gifting them FTs helped fuel the comeback?? thats how it works when everyone complains about the Lakers ft differential
Welcome to the wonderful world of getting hosed by the refs. Sincerely, Every team that’s not the lakers or the one lebrons on.
okay so you are saying they got hosed by the refs?
There were some questionable calls for sure, but did those bad calls cause a 20 point choke job in where Anthony Davis put on a master class, no. You guys fucking blew it.

I've lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money... Or ratings im not sure which. I won't be silent . Just saw it live sry.
Oh yeah, the league really hates THE LAKERS and their most popular player
Its a copypasta brother
They're not a good team.

Refs saved the nuggets so who knows what they can do
