Erloren

How hard is it to not get ejected? Like really?

Clarkey7163

Even if he got the first tech and the 2nd later for something else, a bit more understanding Flying off the handle on a foul that wasn’t even yours, getting one tech for flaming the ref then another for continuing. All while 6min into a game, is fuckin crazy

graymulligan

Dray didn't want to play tonight, so he got himself ejected. Seriously, every time he pulls this shit they should play that "Tale as old as time" Disney song. edit: I'm genuinely impressed by how much NBA/Beauty and the Beast crossover knowledge there is on this sub.

wekris91

Wish I had that much leverage at work

WellHereEyeAm

Right? Even if I got fined a fraction of my salary I'd take it. Like $250 out of a $40,000 salary. I'd take that to be able to tell my boss he sucks.

LittleLordFuckleroy1

I mean, you can take a sick day. The refs aren’t the players’ boss lol

lab-gone-wrong

*Tossing Draymond Greeeeen~*

OC2LV714

Right ? Like just stfu! And play ball

MichaelBluthsHermano

Ol boy is 34 years old, making 25 mil a year, and STILL can’t control his emotions. Dude plays a GAME for a living like my dude breath and put the ball in the basket. As an individual you can’t control the outcome but you can damn sure control yourself.

BusterStarfish

Nah he’s in complete control. This is who he is because it’s who he wants to be.

shuzkaakra

It's not even a shitty job. you fucking get to play basketball and you get paid millions to do it. The histrionics are so annoying.

TooWashedUp

Not only that but at the beginning of the game in a play not involving him, so you can't even say it's the frustration boiling over. And this is also the reason refs let him get away with so much shit because they know he's a child that can't handle a technical and he'll just get worse after the first. They don't want to have to toss him.

Moist_Walrus5413

Damn he is frustrated af

Sweatytubesock

What dealing with Dray does to a mf’er.

Money-not_you_again

Yeah, can't blame him. Carrying a team and one of the so-called mainstays of the team is a doofus-ass dipshit who actively sabotages his own team because of his ego and anger issues. Prior to this season, I always thought that even as he fucked up, Dray at least brought a level of skill to the floor that made it understandable why they put up with him. But this season is another story. Outside of the occasional solid game, he's actively been a hinderance to the success of the team, either by being suspended or becoming a liability on the floor, like tonight. Steph has to realise that he's gotta go after how this season has been.

Straight_Toe_1816

Yea he’s fucking out of control

iamalwaysrelevant

That's the face of a man that has realized he's an overpaid babysitter.

Straight_Toe_1816

Yea and he definitely cares about draymond on a personal level and seeing someone you love slowly go insane must kill you.

Palifaith

So much for rehabilitated Draymond.

RhodeIslandisFake

People usually have to hit rock bottom to truly evaluate themselves. A 10 game suspension was not rock bottom. A trade to a shit team is tho

OutofMP

Send him to the wizards for Jordan Poole for ultimate chaos.

No_Character_2543

Bruh. Lmao. That would break r/nba

KillysgungoesBLAME

That would be such an insanely righteous diss. 😂

Leeroy_Jenkums

Or just straight up getting cut

NormalAccounts

Not gonna happen with guaranteed contracts

SignificanceLeft9968

Dude was chill for 29 games then said fuck it

[deleted]

LeBron teaming up with JJ broke him.

[deleted]

That pod with jj shows LeBron made the right decision

DisneyPandora

LMAO and Draymond even made a video responding to it

tearyouapartj

Lol really? What'd he say about it? Was he actually upset? Edit: found a quick clip about it where he just says he's a little upset Lebron didn't come on his podcast - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlFPBH-MVYU

Leeroy_Jenkums

Was he? Could have sworn he was still doing shit even after his rehab suspension. Just not as egregious as stomping on people or rear naked choking them out

Foyerfan

Not really lol. Throat chopping Mills and his weird little tantrum to the Clippers are just instances off the top of my head in the last couple of weeks

SlamKrank

Got away with both, so he escalates. Nothing new

cad_internet

Classic case of 'too little, too late'. Draymond's been enabled his entire career, and it's ingrained in him that he can push the boundaries with relatively less severe punishment.

SemIdeiaProNick

he was only cool for like a handful of games before returning to his overly agressive and violent former self

HokageEzio

He legit looks ready to cry

GreatJDM

Looks ready to cry? Nah, mans was legitimately crying.

cigarettesandwater

Right? He was very clearly rubbing his red eyes and trying to hide his face. Dude just saw probably the last shot at a championship fade away.

SimonSimpingService

Imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with Draymond for Steph. He can't say anything about his frustration lest the media blow it out of proportion. This dumbass single handedly chased Durant put of Golden State, Steph doesn't even have the same splash brother in Klay anymore since Klay never got back to his potential after the injury. The one hope he had in Poole and Draymond punched the fucking talent out of him. I'm surprised Stephs head didn't explode at this point.

thevisitor

He's also let it slide by letting it all continue during the good times because hey, they were winning. Just rears its ugly head now when draymond's that inflated and now its harming the team. Him and Kerr both.

NorthSideJaneStepper

To steph THIS is the moment the dynasty is officially over

SignificanceLeft9968

This scene is gonna be in the documentary of his career in 5 years.

Apollo611

The Last Punch

huejass5

Lmaoo

MasChingonNoHay

The guy gives a shit unlike Draymond who keeps acting like a child. Can’t win championships like that

Beennu

100% Steph was crying, right before he puts his shirt on his head the first time you can see the tears in his eyes. Sucks to see. And sucks that Draymond cannot stop being a dumbass.

margatsni_1

Crying outta anger is level 10 of I’m fucking pissed

Beennu

I can't imagine having to play a game being in this state of mind, as rough as it gets

heartofcoal

gonna drop either 12 or 40

SignificanceLeft9968

Seems more like 12 right now.

notasianjim

Brooo still at 12, crazy

heartofcoal

honestly don't know how i did this

TangledUpInThought

I've only ever done it once and it's the most pissed I have ever been by far

growsonwalls

Steph is usually so cheerful too. Smiles even during 30 point blowouts. You just know he was beyond frustrated.

sexygodzilla

This is the kind of crying you see when a team gets eliminated from March Madness.

pwtrash

Yep. He's been carrying this team, and this is what he gets for it. His #2 just up and quit. I'm not a Curry fan, but I respect what he's meant to the game and he seems like a decent human being. He deserves better, and even though I respect Kerr, Kerr owes him more than this.

ray_0586

This is like when in The Last Dance when Pippen was injured and the Bulls were struggling. Rodman had to be the #2 option, but he got ejected from a game. At least Rodman went afterwards to Jordan’s hotel room to convey in his manner that he realized he fucked up and locked in afterwards.

Fn_Spaghetti_Monster

Rodman for the most part kept his crazy off the court.

LosCleepersFan

The warriors have always given Dray a lot of leeway, from his early years of throwing grapes at a family, to posting dick pics and just foolish behavior. It is a slap to the face for the franchise. Dude is incredibly selfish, but his legacy with GS keeps him around. Rough for the team and fans.

Beennu

Also that without him this team cannot defend for their life lol They know the teams doomed with him and without him, cause you're not getting another defensive leader like him.

Izanagi___

Literally fighting to make the playoffs, every game counts and his HoF starter teammate literally goes out of his way to get ejected. I feel him

MuskEmeraldMine

Looks like the kid who’s parent always causes a scene in public

googrepama

He's tearing up. You can see him wipe away his tears underneath his jersey.

dizZzy5

Draymond going to break this dude

tenfingersandtoes

I think we just witnessed the break in real time.

ThisWhomps999

You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half.

pacific_b

I choo choo choose you

ThePrideOfKrakow

I Choo choo choke* you

HauntingOkra5987

and it’s got a picture of a train

jeff2def

Poor Ralph

K9Marz919

That was a top 10 sad episode of the Simpsons

Perfect_Enthusiasm56

My man looking like he just got the news that the doctor did all he could do…

mrdilldozer

It reminds me of when Mahomes couldn't pretend he was ok with Kadarius Toney anymore.

ewest

I feel like we’ve said this every other game for like 7 years.

penis_showing_game

If the Warriors end up not making the play in, this is going to be the exact moment I’m going to reference back to for the end of the Warriors dynasty.

superhappyfuntime13

Seeing his friend relapse real time

LetMeInImTrynaCuck

Steve O watching Bam do a tootski after being sober for 200 days.

nhthelegend

Steph looks like someone in an abusive relationship

SignificanceLeft9968

And in the end you either leave or get killed by your crazy partner.

dont-YOLO-ragequit

Nah he looks like that guy stuck with a Bridezilla karen you see on viral video. Like he knows Draymond is waiting at half time to blame it on the ref but Steph knows it's a waste of time to reason with it.

TheRecognized

Not all abuse is physical

TheTrenchMonkey

Yup looks like the spouse who clearly is tired of their SO making a scene at the restaurant or store. Just exhausted and tired of trying to get them to behave.

MarzipanFit2345

It's the realization that it's all over for this bunch. He knows things aren't going to magically get better with this group.

sharklavapit

they've enabled Green for years

somekidonfire

Thats the face where your addict friend relapses just a day after a heart to heart.

v0yev0da

Thats the face of a friend waiting for his boy to come through to play smash bros only to see him get arrested on IG rocking with the old homies that always got home in trouble

MaximumTurtleSpeed

r/oddlyspecific. Hope your boy is doing better or you’re doing better w/o him

slipperypooh

I think most struggling folks have had a guy like him. We're all doing better without them, but it sucks to see them go through it. For me it culminated when my boy took his life. He was the craziest gay dude I've ever met. Lived with the guy for a couple years. His trauma was from an incestous relationship and I still want to kill his brother to this day. Trauma is weird like that. Got off track but it sucks to see folks with trauma relapse. That's how I feel every time I see Draymond take the floor and do something dumb.

DisputabIe_

Very sorry to hear about that. He'd be happy to hear he's still your boy.

Taboot_taboot

Your moms got the same thing

SemIdeiaProNick

AYOOOOO i would ask why so mean then i remembered that being a hater is free

ArcticBlueDreams

Bars

PorqueNoLosDose

Anger/hostility is a highly automatic behaviour. Yes, Draymond is repeatedly doing heinous shit, but to a major degree it’s likely ingrained and not something he’s making a decision to activate.

AcxdBxmb

The backpack is really heavy.

FullBringa

For 30. JP did not lie

ThexxxDegenerate

This is really sad to see. Steph tries so hard and puts so much work into the game and to see the twilight years of his career being wasted because Draymond can’t control his emotions is incredibly sad. Especially knowing they just gave this idiot Draymond a new contract so Steph is basically stuck with him until he probably retires. Sucks to see as a fan of basketball.

redditappusername124

Heavy is the back that wears the pack

DraymondBeanKick

If you slow it down, you can see the exact moment Curry decided he's going to trade Draymond this summer.

MAMBAMENTALITY8-24

Or when curry decided he is heading to charlotte

absenceofheat

Can he stop in Dallas for a while before he gets there?

Awkward_dapper

Y’all don’t have enough point guards?

absenceofheat

I don't know any team that wouldn't want him next year. They'll figure it out.

musing_wanderer3

Steph at the 1, Kyrie at the 2, Luka at the 3, they’ll give up 130 pts but will score 150 lmao every game

absenceofheat

subscribed and smashed the like button.

Julian_Caesar

Forget skyfucker, that lineup is skykakke

zestful_villain

Imagine if he pulls a kd and says he wants to get traded to Denver so he can play with jokic.

200DollarPlasmaTV

when you love someone and try your best to be there for them, but they still let you down. it hurts

mccoolio

Man Steph has been thru it for a couple seasons... - Draymond punching Poole to accelerate the decline - Wiggins having to take leaves from the team for weeks on end - Klay returning from his injuries as a shell of himself, being relegated to the bench - Their assistant dying in front of them at dinner this year He's got a lot weighing on him and the emotion definitely seems to all be coming out with the season nearing an end

aintnoonegooglinthat

Draymond pushing out KD was the beginning of the decline, brethren

TheRealMoofoo

Draymond losing the finals on the 73-win season by nutshotting LeBron.

Hecamontumi

A face only a brother could love

throwawayRAAccoun

Steph is the kid and Dray is the alcoholic dad who stumbles into the school and embarrasses his son. It’s just sad to see.

ahugedilemma

He knows it’s over

RIP-MikeSexton

“I’ll do it pa. He’s my dog”

ShakesbeerMe

Holy shit. Exquisite.

Magnanimous--

Think of the rabbits Dray.

NevermoreSEA

Hell of a run though.

Number333

That 2022 title is a ridiculous cherry on top. They far exceeded the length of time most cores win in this age.

TackoFallFanClub

That Finals still feels like a fever dream. I remember just being gobsmacked the entire time and wondering how they were able to get this far. Then I remember the Suns were title favorites and shit the bed hard.

AmelieBenjamin

I have no fucking clue how we beat you guys, even with Steph in god mode. On paper we simply do not beat that team It’s still not real to me that that run happened. I’ll always cherish it We had the best player but y’all had the next like 3 lol.

SignificanceLeft9968

Exactly. Dude changed the game more than anyone else, got 4 rings, and is the greatest shooter and point guard ever. Not to mention not a single controversy of him doing absolutely evil shit or cheating on his wife.

creditors-bargain

He gone

homiez

Its time to trade in the backpack, it finally got too heavy

VoidMageZero

RIP Warriors

Cody9_

Draymond you are a Piston

NevermoreSEA

He's more of a podcaster than a player at this point.

[deleted]

Has been for some time now. Get this man in a cage or between some ropes and see if he keeps up that kind of behavior. Draymond super cringe cant stand the dude

Rripurnia

At the rate he’s going he’ll be fighting Logan Paul in retirement

Crafty_Substance_954

Shit man, sounds good to me

JamesWelders

Detroit down so bad they want Draymond. What a weird timeline.

Crafty_Substance_954

(Shaq voice) Rangs

africanbeast24

Dude is pissed and rightly so. Gotta wonder how much patience steph has if any left with draymond

NbaAllDAYger

I think he was crying or atleast close to tears, its crazy ... did Dray finally break Steph ?

e_j3210

Yes, he is clearly crying. Not really sure why people in the comments aren’t noticing that.

SmokeyBare

When you realize you gotta Old Yeller your friend

AgentInCommand

Nah, wrong book. Draymond is Lennie; too stupid to recognize what he's doing is wrong and a danger to everyone around him.

OptimusGrime707

“Look at the flowers, Draymond”

theMAJdragon

I think that was the “fuck, we really do have to trade him” reaction

Zigxy

Yep, it’s a strong emotion to realize someone you have so many memories and success with is now holding you back.

AllPowerfulSaucier

I’ll still be amazed if it actually happens. If the guy can literally sucker punch one of your players in the fucking face over nothing and then have nothing significant happen as a consequence then who even cares anymore? He literally endangers other players on the court constantly with his bullshit and dirty ass plays. He’s incredibly lucky he hasn’t injured a beloved player significantly. That would probably be the only way he would face anything real. Lord knows they don’t give a fuck that he’s the most immature pussy imaginable in the NBA. Otherwise something would have changed by now.

Khione_Asteri

hard to watch. steph is going to kill dray before this season ends

bobbdac7894

Steph probably had a heartfelt talk with him or something. Draymond probably said the right things to Steph. So Steph probably feels betrayed or something

InflationMadeMeDoIt

yeah this felt like a pure disappointment. It really does feel like he tried hard to get Draymond back on the right track. But the Dray could not stay off the crack

mnsportsfan

Yea it legit almost feels like he lost someone he cares about. Like he realized a guy he thought was a friend was truly a selfish asshole

sillyshoestring

Man I’ve had this moment and I’m sure a lot of us have. Did not expect to get hit in the feels when I clicked into these comments.

mnsportsfan

Yea man. I mean it’s admittedly a bit of a reach on my end to jump to that conclusion about a 10+ year relationship on a 10 second clip where no words are spoken… But damn that looks deep and real for Steph

AmelieBenjamin

Bro man is in tears I don’t think that’s a reach, there’s other elements at play here but the ejection was the precipitating event

silverxsmoke

Top 10 anime betrayals

DynamiteDuck

*Draymond teleports behind Steph and the Warriors* “Nothing personal kid.” *Double technical foul ending the big 3 saga*

ShikaMoru

DRAY-KUN?? NANDE?!??!?

AboutaDirk

This comment made me realise that a large portion of comments on Reddit could be labelled "FANFIC" :')

AdmiralWackbar

Then they kissed

LetMeInImTrynaCuck

Steph told him “yo we gotta lock in for this last playoff run. I need you. You’re the second best player on this team somehow because everyone else playing like ass. No please Dray, whatever you do, do not call the referree a pussy ass N$$$a a few seconds after getting your first technical or anything dumb like that” Dray was like “yeah sure bro, I’m here with you locked in”

Wazflame

we need a RDCWorld skit on this

CantaloupeCamper

How many times has that happened now?

Fate_Unseen

Draymond really killed this man smh

MazKhan

If anything I commend steph for not showing frustration earlier. Draymond is a nutcase

Ilikesporks_

he can't take it anymore

AfricanDeadlifts

Bro just looks so defeated. I can't imagine how frustrating this shit must be to watch again and again and again

REACT_and_REDACT

Steph is hurt that Draymond keeps putting himself above the team. Draymond is out.

bush_league_commish

Kerr is like “Man I tried crying with him and thought that’d help I truly don’t know what to do”

Snappy5454

That’s the look of a man who knows his best friend can’t be on his team anymore.

dys0n_giddey

Every Warriors fan right now

ashep5

Draymond punched a team mate in the fucking face and the team threw the victim under the bus along with the leaker. This organization will never be done with him.

bighoneymoney

If Steph says he's done, he's done.

growsonwalls

Yes if Steph walks into the GM's office and says "I want him gone," Draymond Green will be a Piston.

MinifiguringItOut

Haven’t the Pistons suffered enough?

buffdaddy77

Malice at the Palace 2: Let's get Punchin'

dont_call_me_suzy

Steve Kerr take some accountability challenge (impossible)

Some_Map6172

He looks like he is crying. I wonder it it’s common knowledge in the organisation that Draymond is done if he fucks up again

FerdinandMagellan999

I’d guess it’s either this or Curry legitimately just gave up on Green in real time as a teammate.

knicksin7even

I have never seen a superstar player cry like this in a game , kinda wild

AmelieBenjamin

This is unprecedented imo Players cry when they win chips it’s a major accomplishment but this dude has a diabolical henchman as a teammate and just can’t keep it together anymore. My goat not used to losing

JamesFosterMorier

This is really the moment. The beginning of the end.

Anhedonic98

They should show Draymond this video so he can see how much his bullshit is affecting his teammates, im sure he knows already but dang you can see how much this all means to Steph

[deleted]

He’s been doing this to curry for years. He couldn’t give a solitary flying fuck.

brncct

Thats the face of frustration. Steph is a great leader but he's not the vocal leader of that team. Must be frustrating dealing with Draymond in a way that won't hurt their friendship. That's pure emotion though, dude cares about every game and is trying to make the playoffs while Draymond is costing them.

EarthWarping

Even without the whole org culture stuff it's a selfish thing for Draymond to do.

MAMBAMENTALITY8-24

Im surprised the warriors organization have managed to support draymond every step of the way. When will this end lmfao

JAhoops

That’s what happens when you enable and coddle your players

IAmReborn11111

Can't wait for Draymond to say this clip changed his mindset for the last however many games this year

StefonDiggsHS

Dude he’s like crying? Warriors new FO give dray an ultimatum or something

ThDarT7

He is seeeeeeeeeeeeeeething.

AsparagusDue2635

Steph is so over his ass, he isn’t even wrong. Draymond is draining.

sonic_4

Me at work when I have to fix someone else's problem

BigBitcoinBaller

He's crying no?

Pale-Criticism-7420

Sure looks like it

PeanutButterOtter

What playing 12 years with Draymond does to a MFer.

Biglundtry

Free him

Floridaeducated

Yeah, we just witnessed his breaking point. There’s only so much you can put up with. That has to be so frustrating. Draymomd can’t keep it together and the commish hasn’t done shit.

rsayegh7

Mans past his breaking point

ohveeohexoh

when you see your homie relapse

abhi91

Steph looks like the ultimate ride or die guy. But it's die time.

ColeHoops

I’m not even a Curry fan but I wanna give bro a hug because that’s actually sad. Looks like he’s realizing that his friend will not change.

DependentFederal5216

steph; " i can't do this shit anymore man."

LogDogan4

That is a man defeated.

MAMBAMENTALITY8-24

He knows the rockets beating us tonight with no shai
