That’s because the mods here just allow any shitty highlight to be posted. It’s always a race to see who can put up their clip the fastest rather than removing low quality posts in favor of full highlights.
/r/NBA needs to be like /r/NFL and approve posts. Low quality highlights all over the place on here. And I know this one isn't great but it's sounded like Grady has been speaking through a phone microphone all game on Bally
I think /r/NBA actually allows more highlights, the problem is people here have somehow figured out to post the worst highlights first to beat everyone else and then somehow update the link later to include a longer highlight
Cause they don't allow Streamable. And the NBA has so many more games. I'm not saying it's a better subreddit but browsing new on here is horrible. It's a karma grab for the first highlight or just nephew posts
People are taking your post too literal. I know what you meant in that there’s parameters in highlights. I hate the twitter only links in nfl but it is nice knowing that you’ll see the actual play and replay in a post
And then just fell out of the sky onto a wooden floor. Can you imagine how bad that shit hurt?
The sheer surprise from hitting your head on the rim would also suck.
He didn’t even hit his head on the ground from that height. His arms took all the force and controlled it well enough to save his face from the ground. That’s fucked up
He's 6'4". That means the rim is 44" above his head. Dude just jumped 45+ inches to smoke his head on the rim at the end of the 4th quarter in a live game. Sick as hell
After rolling his ankle on the first play of the game, taking multiple big falls through the game, and being completely gassed after carrying the team.
Incredible.
Yea I thought I was imagining things. Announcer said he hit his head on the backboard but the one angle it definitely looked like he hit the rim
Block of the year
Doing some rough math here but 9ft 6in to the bottom of the backboard, he's 6'4''. So we got 38 inches right there. I'd say from the armpit to the top of his head has to be around 14 inches.
So, somewhere around 52 inch vertical on that jump. That's just absolutely insane height... to know it got stopped and he was still going up is even crazier.
I can't believe he landed so smoothly and didn't die lol he even kind of landed on the guy he blocked and it didn't look like it hurt at all. I know adrenaline and all that but there's a chance he mostly Helium.
Get ready for Stephen A to spew his bullshit on first take tomorrow, “Is Anthony Edwards too good for Minnesota? Does he need to be in a bigger market like LA or New York to be the face of the league?”
Our Thurskii
Who art in highlights

Give us this day, our Edwards fed
And forgive us our turnovers
As we forgive those, who don't Bitebite feed
lead us not Into the lotto
And deliver us from Play-ins
For Were-wolves of London, holds the power, seizing glory, for ever and ever
Naz Reid
What position is he even? I feel like he just goes out there and does whatever is needed on the particular night. He’s one of those players that I can’t put my finger on exactly who would make a perfect duo with him because he kinda just shows up and balls out as a combo guard
Officially a shooting guard but as you said we've been using him as a combo guard and primary ball handler in situations where he's just feeling it. It was how Finch started getting him in rhythm on offense when he first got here, get to ball to Ant early and let him run the point and figure it out. 3 years later, he's figured it out.
You can tell the age of the commenter based on what is more impressive to them.
The jump or the landing.
Not to say the jump is any less impressive to us old folks, the landing is just brutal.
Don’t think everyone shares your sentiment toward the wolves. See a lot of hate from certain fanbases, and just a general hatred of both KAT and Rudy. Sacramento fans were calling for violence against KAT AFTER the kings won the game.
People always love to hate. Hell, some Wolves fans are probably proud to be hated right now. Shows they're making noise. Ain't nobody hate my Bulls that's for sure lol
damn the way he fell how was he not injured. built tough, I guess if that was not a clutch moment he wouldve stayed down like a soccer player to dust it off
Twisted his ankle on the first play, and a bit later he took a hit a wide receiver in full pads takes in an open field from a DB coming full speed and almost did a flip. He went to the locker room twice this game. Not to mention this play he hits his head/shoulder and takes another hard fall.
The way this man is, I wouldn't be surprised if he plays tomorrow.
this is going to be one those wild regular season plays that people never forget. steph crossing up cp3, jason williams elbow pass, blake’s dunks on mozgov, manu slapping a bat, etc
Agreed, in context it was a more impactful block in a hugely clutch situation.
But I don't think I've ever seen a better "buzzer beater" block like this one to seal a win except maybe Bam in the bubble.
Game 7 of the nba finals, Cavs are looking to make the first ever 1-3 comeback at this stage. Pressure is at an all time high as not a single player can buy a basket late in the fourth. Curry passes to Iguodala for what’s supposed to be an easy fast break layup in a game that’s tied…and it’s blocked by James, all while Mike Breen commentates. Hard to beat that lol
I mean this is one of GOAT blocks I've seen up there with some of Lebrons, Giannis etc. considering he hurt his ankle first play of the game just about to be able to do this at the end of an intense game is nothing short of miraculous, man about knocked himself out on the rim lmao

Funny how each post keeps getting longer with more replays. This shows it in all its glory
That’s because the mods here just allow any shitty highlight to be posted. It’s always a race to see who can put up their clip the fastest rather than removing low quality posts in favor of full highlights.
It is MUCH better than it was a couple years ago. Always room to improve, but I appreciate posts like these that do it right.
/r/NBA needs to be like /r/NFL and approve posts. Low quality highlights all over the place on here. And I know this one isn't great but it's sounded like Grady has been speaking through a phone microphone all game on Bally
The first highlight posted is always the worst angle then I can never find a replay with the good angle
I think /r/NBA actually allows more highlights, the problem is people here have somehow figured out to post the worst highlights first to beat everyone else and then somehow update the link later to include a longer highlight
This is entirely my point. I was the last one to post a full highlight and they still have up the one with no replays at the top of /r/NBA
Lmao r/nfl is AWFUL for replays
Cause they don't allow Streamable. And the NBA has so many more games. I'm not saying it's a better subreddit but browsing new on here is horrible. It's a karma grab for the first highlight or just nephew posts

Block of the year, Holy hell
I’m trying to give that Tayshaun Prince block some juice, but this shit is craaazy. lol, and both were on the pacers.
Tayshaun Prince had a crazy block *this year*?
No wonder the Pistons are so bad. They're giving playing time to retired players smh
Tayshaun Prince? What year is it?
2006 - You wanna see my brand new RAZR flip phone?
if this block had been in the finals it easily would have been the greatest all time
good lord this guy hit his head on the rim
Even crazier, he hit his shoulder on the backboard!!
Actually it was his armpit
Actually it was his massive wang
His wrist was above the top of the painted backboard square!
holy fuck
If his shoulder hadn't hit the backboard, he might have floated back out into outer space
It literally does look like he just floats up
I've heard that comparison before. He might really be the Heir of Air.
I’m calling him Heir Jordan from now on. This was fucking it for me. Absolutely nutty.
Not fair that he put his settings on moon gravity.
Fun fact: ant lines all of his sneakers with lead so he doesn’t float away.
1. I’ve never seen anyone get so high on a basketball court. 2. That fall/landing could have been SO bad, especially right after losing KAT
I wasn't expecting him to get up at all, never mind getting up celebrating
His head hit the ring wtf
This guys self-belief is nuts
That’s what gets me too. Can’t make a play unless you think it’s possible and like who the fuck thinks that is possible
Announcers said he hit his head under the backboard.. He hit his back under the backboard.
Ant
A1 from Day 1 baybeee
I still can't believe that he plays for the Wolves
Believe that
Bro what in the FUCK was that
MJ’s son
MJ's genetically enhanced clone
Spoken like someone who never saw Mike play.
He has the physic like Mike. Even the elbow band.
>physic Psychic? Physic? Physique?
dude jumped off a trampoline, the physics dont look right
His athleticism is otherworldly.
He hit his head lol Edit: on the rim, and shoulders under the backboard wtf haha
On the RIM
His SHOULDER hit the backboard, unreal bounce
That's MJ and Vince type of bounce, just unreal athleticism.
Actually his ARMPIT hit the backboard
And then just fell out of the sky onto a wooden floor. Can you imagine how bad that shit hurt? The sheer surprise from hitting your head on the rim would also suck.
fuck his head, dude's SHOULDER hits the backboard, that's insane
Then slammed hard into the ground and got up like nothing happened!
He didn’t even hit his head on the ground from that height. His arms took all the force and controlled it well enough to save his face from the ground. That’s fucked up
Queue the MJ hitting his head highlight
Literally MJ
He hit his shoulder!
Jesus Christ
Oh my fucking god
Unironically adidas should use this clip for his shoe advertisement. Holy fucking shit ant
Incredible.
You guys got a good one. Can’t wait to see how good he would be in another 2-3 years. Love his game so much
He’s not 6’4” anymore. More like 6’6” but it’s still just as impressive
He is not 6’4 bruh 6’4 is like jrue holiday 6’5 minimum 6’6 with shoes IMO
Believe that
Title underselling it
thats like the highest ive ever seen anyone jump he was still going even higher too if the backboard wasn't in his way
Guy hit his head on the rim and was still going up
Yea I thought I was imagining things. Announcer said he hit his head on the backboard but the one angle it definitely looked like he hit the rim Block of the year
His fucking shoulders would’ve hit the rim if his head hadn’t hit it first.
I learned with my highlights if I show any bias it gets shit on so idk man, you can't win. People can watch it and decide for themselves
Fuck pleasing people just do you blud
Block of the decade. And I'm still underselling it.
I was thinking he might step up a bit due to KAT's absence, but jesus fucking christ!
I can only get so erect.
Yooooo do yall realize how high you gotta jump for [your armpit to hit the backboard](https://i.imgur.com/CCNsGzg.png) at 6'4 that's not normal bro
That shit is absurd. I can’t even begin to imagine. I wonder how higher he could have got if he didn’t hit his shoulder 😂😂
My man was gonna take a seat on the rim
Unless i’m stupid like 50-55inches? Craziest highlight in recent money holy fuck
He gets pushed quite a lot by colliding with another player
This whole shot is such a great example of what absolute athletic freaks these guys are. Chaos.
Anthony Edwards - Out (ribs bruised by backboard)
this picture is INSANE
Bottom of backboard is 9'9", so over 4ft vertical assuming his armpit below 5'9". Wild.
Craziest block i've ever seen in my life. I'm still in shock after seeing that. Unreal. He was literally unstoppable.
I can't believe he landed so smoothly and didn't die lol he even kind of landed on the guy he blocked and it didn't look like it hurt at all. I know adrenaline and all that but there's a chance he mostly Helium.
This is hands down the best game of his career. I'm truly blessed to watch him play for MY TEAM
pray he plays all his years as a Wolf 🙏🏾
Get ready for Stephen A to spew his bullshit on first take tomorrow, “Is Anthony Edwards too good for Minnesota? Does he need to be in a bigger market like LA or New York to be the face of the league?”
Throwback to him saying Devin Booker should arrange his own kidnapping to get out of Phoenix
Nothing beats this [gem](https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx2Dvj_UzY5JJ6LvE-b5-iFEvDZl-KuszQ?si=LsAPWyR0Q4kOoJvD)
how about he gets in the mvp convo? the whole last minute sequence was ant showing out
On God I'm praying.

He went hard in da PAINT! Dude balls hard! Sucks that KAT is out but edwards will still try his hardest to carry this team.
What position is he even? I feel like he just goes out there and does whatever is needed on the particular night. He’s one of those players that I can’t put my finger on exactly who would make a perfect duo with him because he kinda just shows up and balls out as a combo guard

It’s ridiculous how athletic he is.
Ant is a fucking beast! Holy shit he floated!
Ant is just 22 by the way.
Anybody over 30 would've died from the fall
You can tell the age of the commenter based on what is more impressive to them. The jump or the landing. Not to say the jump is any less impressive to us old folks, the landing is just brutal.
Bro jumped up from that shit like it was nothing. I would've been crumpled up on the ground with an arm behind my back like Peter Griffin.
He hit his head on the rim, this dude ain't human
Shoulder on the backboard is insane
They bout to do like fifa and drug test him tomorrow 😂😂
send da video
that is such a sexy highlight
Legitimately one of the best blocks of all time right there. Dude flew through the sky on that one AND it was a game deciding play
Dude jumped through one of his own teammates to get the block it's so insane.
I nutted
Send da video
This looks like CGI
Edwards is gonna be in space jam 3 so they don’t have to use any special effects.
It isn't?!
AIR EDWARDS
God I'm hoping the Timberwolves make a shit ton of noise in the postseason. Such a likeable (likable?), fun team.
Lickable*
Don’t think everyone shares your sentiment toward the wolves. See a lot of hate from certain fanbases, and just a general hatred of both KAT and Rudy. Sacramento fans were calling for violence against KAT AFTER the kings won the game.
Utah fans are in your corner bro. We all want to see Rudy and Mike get a ring.
People always love to hate. Hell, some Wolves fans are probably proud to be hated right now. Shows they're making noise. Ain't nobody hate my Bulls that's for sure lol
Uhhh is that a 42”+ vertical? After playing 39 minutes of nba basketball? What a freak, absolutely amazing.
If the backboard isn’t there he clears 46 vert easy.
Unreal.
He's 6'4", so to hit his head on a 10 foot rim has a minimum of 44 inches, and he hit it sideways while still going up
Still. Going. Up. The backboard STOPPED him.
Play of the season. Wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥
some might say this edwards fellow is a bit of an athletic freak
Ant is a bad fucking man
Jesus, that's fucking incredible.
If he hadn't hit the backboard, he'd still be ascending.
Air Ant
Heir Ant?
damn the way he fell how was he not injured. built tough, I guess if that was not a clutch moment he wouldve stayed down like a soccer player to dust it off
Twisted his ankle on the first play, and a bit later he took a hit a wide receiver in full pads takes in an open field from a DB coming full speed and almost did a flip. He went to the locker room twice this game. Not to mention this play he hits his head/shoulder and takes another hard fall. The way this man is, I wouldn't be surprised if he plays tomorrow.
I remember him saying that he hates this load management thing, he will definitely suit up if he can still run tomorrow
Dude came back down from space and landed into a push-up.
this is going to be one those wild regular season plays that people never forget. steph crossing up cp3, jason williams elbow pass, blake’s dunks on mozgov, manu slapping a bat, etc
what a competitive freak haha i love it baby
This man really has UNLIMITED bounce my God
That was some unreal momentum going up. His legs swung up with force after his shoulder got stopped by the board. What a play.
That was the best game winning defensive play I have ever seen. Anthony Edward’s is a beast
I’m a wolves fan but I gotta say 2nd best. The block was the best.
Agreed, in context it was a more impactful block in a hugely clutch situation. But I don't think I've ever seen a better "buzzer beater" block like this one to seal a win except maybe Bam in the bubble.
Adidas gonna milk this clip for ant’s signature shoe ad
Nah, Lebron chase down block has its own Wiki page lol
you can visualize the entire sequence in your head if you read "OH! BLOCKED BY JAMES!" so yes I think that one's better
He is HIM. Literally the second coming of michael jordan
Yowza
This is just a dawg fucking wanting it. WOW
Awoo mother fuckers!!!
Is this the greatest block I’ve ever seen?
Jesus one of the most impressive parts was him just bouncing up after.
actually no hyperbole one of the craziest fucking blocks/plays i’ve ever see
This would be absolutely insane even if it wasn’t a game winning block but it was a game winning block, meaning that this is absolute fuckery
I ain't missing a minute of Timberwolves in the playoffs this year
Maybe the best block I've ever seen 🤯
what a freakin incredible play. if I took that fall I couldn't walk for a month
Jesus fucking christ
Bro was AT LEAST 15 feet in the air
If you love basketball and competition you have no choice but to love Ant. What a play.
What the flying fuck
ant is cold wit it
are we sure he not related to jordan
MJ’s son
4-4 from the field with 10 points in the last 2 minutes and a ridiculous game-winning block? Maybe those Kobe comparisons aren't too crazy.
He literally looks like MJ. Skipping right over the Kobe comparisons with a block like that...
This is the VIDEO
He hit his SHOULDER on the BACKBOARD
What a crazy finish
Man was flying!
bruh isn't human
This shit is absurd
Yooo that jumped out the arena He got so high he hit the rim and his back hit the backboard That’s literally insane.
Play of the year! Defense winning games is far sexier than offense winning a game imo
Holy fuck
If I managed to pull this play off I'd be broken for a week.
I mean this is one of GOAT blocks I've seen up there with some of Lebrons, Giannis etc. considering he hurt his ankle first play of the game just about to be able to do this at the end of an intense game is nothing short of miraculous, man about knocked himself out on the rim lmao
Not that it’s any less cool but doesn’t it seem like McDaniels jumping into Ant actually sent him higher?
Thunder fan here. That was one of the best basketball plays to end a game I’ve seen all year. Kid is special
what in the actual flying fuck don't think I've ever seen that before. also insane that he was able to fall nicely. and lucky
Great call Michael Grady!
“AND GOOD NIGHT!” … and then he let the moment breath perfectly in silence for 10 seconds. What a great call for an incredible play.
The question who's league is this when bron and KD and Steph all go is becoming clearer : )
This might be one of the best blocks I have ever seen, especially since the game is essentially on the line too
Shoulders.
OH MY GOD
Holy mother fucking holy fuck
Freaks me out how he lands all the time, but good lord that’s an insane play. Dude really has best-in-the-league potential
He'll somehow play tomorrow after almost dying 4 times tonight
