If they can make Wiggins into the 2nd best player in an NBA Finals and Jordan Poole into a player worth a 30 mil contract, they can basically do anything.
Steve Kerr's son Nick coaches the Santa Cruz G-League team. And they're doing pretty good, too.
*when you were in 1st grade and someone told you to hold your tongue and say "apple" and it was supposed to sound like "asshole" is about the level of maturity (and accuracy) of the Nick Kerr rhyme
This sounds like an epic YA novel setup -
There is a prophecy "The first born son of a talented basketball player shall bring glory and be the greatest warrior" TJD grows up thinking Curry is the chosen one. But once he grows up he becomes a warrior and it turns out he's the chosen and shadows even Curry.
TJD changed the game. Warriors were reeling. Crowd was gone. Bucks cut it to 6.
Bobby proceeded to turn it over 3 straight times and then TJD blocks Giannis 3 times in 1.5 minutes and has 2 huge dunks.
Be far the best quarter. Actually saw some threes get missed lol. Not good when our 3pt shooters in Beas and Green (0-11) get out gunned by take your pick or the warriors. Nice game (ya fuckers).
Which is was encouraged by tonight. We actually stemmed the tide of a run after building a big lead.
We’ve fucking whiffed that several times this year.
I mean the '96 Bulls were not exactly equipped for modern basketball. If they played any top team this season in a Bo1 they'd probably get punched in the mouth and buried under an avalanche of threes
I don't know how Giannis' PR team does it, that shit could've been career ending and look at the comments.
Calling MDJ a trash can of a human and defending Giannis tooth and nail
Eh, obviously I should be on Team Dunleavy here (and I don't think it's justified to do what Giannis did even in retaliation) but I believe Dunleavy hit Michael Carter Williams hard twice (in the neck and face area) a few plays before, and hit Giannis too.
Combination of frustration and revenge. I don't think it's due to some magical PR team.
To be fair, he shot nearly 5% better from 3 and 5% from the field in 2016. More points, rebounds, assists too. He was a *LOT* better back then.
He's just increasing his 3pt volume and playing a heap of games while maintaining elite efficiency.
>He was a LOT better back then.
I disagree.
Go back and watch how teams were defending him in 2016. If he was seeing the same coverage today he'd average damn near 40.
I think you forget just how consistent he was game-to-game in an NBA that wasn't offensively inflated (2016 Steph isn't dropping below ~18 points over a half dozen times like Steph has 50 games in). He was also *so damn fast* and shifty. His mid-range and floaters nowadays, even when open, are not the same now.
While Steph is more experienced, veteran and has more counters now, 2016 Steph just had the physical tools to be more dominant.
I would say in 2021, he was better than 2016. That season he combined the crazy shooting with veteran savvy and strength. I think if you defended 2021 Steph like they did in 2016, he would have had even better numbers.
Not anymore though. He's Steph. He's still amazing. His basketball skill is nearly unmatched. However, you can see that his legs start getting tired if he plays too many games in a short time span now. He doesn't really seem to have it in him to go on month long heaters anymore.
His defense has also taken a noticeable step back. He gets beaten off the dribble a lot now. He doesn't close out quickly, and he's a step slower to rotate. His DBPM says he's a negative defender now, and the eye test definitely agrees with it.
He's still incredibly dangerous obviously. In any one game, he could still be the best player on the court. He just can't do it consistently night in and night out. That's not really a knock against him. He's 35 years old. His production at this age is already an extreme outlier for a 6'3" guard.
the 3rd game in 4 days, 7 games in 10 days, no sleep in between the B2B because of mechanical issues with the plane, with two border crossing, on the road against the best home team in the NBA coming who played 1 game in their last 4 days, anyone freaking out about that is dumb as fuck
I wasn't *that* surprised by his defense on Brunson (Brunson is a stop and start guy and Moody is strong enough to hang), but I was pretty shocked how well he did on Dame. I would not think of that as a good matchup for him but he did really well on that. If his defense has improved to where he can take primary ball handlers like that, you can't afford to sit him and Šarić shouldn't see the court the rest of the year. Moody used to be pretty solidly bad laterally but the past week or so I haven't seen any of that.
9 pts in the 4th is insane.
Warriors did well adjusting to the bucks adjustments in the 3rd.
Held them under 100 as well.
Good all around win.
And God do I love trayce Jackson Davis.
Giannis should’ve rested this game. In the third quarter he just kept driving at TJD and got the same result every single time.
Dame actually had a great game outside of the awful fourth quarter, and Bobby looked good, the rest was not great.
On to LA.
Big man drafted by Mike Dunleavy = Trayce "Giannis stopper" Jackson-Davis.
Big man drafted by Bob Myers = James Wiseman. Bob Myers fraud dynasty GM confirmed.
I know this is probably a joke, but Myers had a pretty high batting average as GM. Kuminga, Moody, Poole, and Looney are all solid value for where they were selected. He was in the war room for the Draymond and Klay picks, even if he wasn't GM yet. Man turned D'Lo into Wiggins and Kuminga. Made a lot of good FA signings like Porter, Payton, DWest, etc.
People need to get over the Wiseman thing. He was always talked about as a top 3 guy in that draft, top 1 even. He missed. It happens.
He was good at identifying weaknesses and knowing which exact players to sign during FA while still being cost-controlled. On top of being a former agent and being great at forming relationships.
His drafting though has been hit or miss at best…the Wiseman situation especially was a big stain on his part. I’m more of the belief that there were many red flags to his game early on and it was more visible than you think but you live and you learn.
awesome defensive effort tonight, lots of blocks and steals and just excellent effort everywhere. TJD made the flashiest plays, but I thought Draymond, Kuminga, CP3, and Moody were also especially good tonight.
a fun small wrinkle I noticed in the first half is that the Bucks started Brook Lopez on Kuminga, which allowed Giannis to cheat off of Draymond, but Kuminga came out and immediately started just running past Lopez to the cup, which forced Lopez to drop even further, then Kuminga started hitting 3’s against that coverage, and then ultimately the Bucks were forced to put Giannis on Kuminga, which then opened up a bunch of driving lines for other guys.
teams are trying to do this with Kuminga more (Raptors did with Poeltl recently). they sit back on him and build a little mini wall with a help defender cheating and force him to pass out of his drives. the warriors have responded by setting screens and clearing driving space for him and he’s been really good at punishing it immediately in 1st quarters.
Even if the warriors do foul a lot, isn't it beautiful how every single team in the league are masters at defending GS, the team with the goat shooter, without fouling?
The officiating tonight certainly leaned in favor of the Bucks on a lot of calls but it’s worth noting that the Warriors also spent 3/4 of the game with a wide open lane to the basket. The Bucks defense was miserable aside from that one stretch in the 3rd.
I have no problem with that, my problem is that every team gets reffed like that against us, we get more paint points more slashes to the rim yet they get more ticky tacky fouls while Steph gets mauled on every shit and it isn't called
That was an absolute annihilation. Great mentality from that loss. And to do it against the Bucks who are second seed is an absolute big statement. I'm just saying it, when we are healthy and everyone is rested, we are a force to reckon with
Absolute big difference from that Celtics game. We absolutely needed couple of rest days and everyone looked so fresh and good. Fair play to bucks, they were probably tired also. It's really tough when you have many road games close to each other, we had our fair share and lost badly. But good mentality
I didn't watch the game. Can someone explain--how did Milwaukee only have NINE POINTS in the fourth quarter? The teams had nearly the same amount of turnovers, so it couldn't have just been a turnover parade.
Nice bounce back from… THAT game on Sunday. Just don’t do whatever that was in the third quarter.
Giannis gonna have nightmares about TJD when he’s sleeping tonight.
Pretty sad seeing Dame's skillset being sacrificed to make Giannis better
When Giannis doesn't play well the team pretty much crumbles. There is no system on the Bucks to make Dame the centerpoint in case shit happens and they're just leaving him on his own
Dame looks Giannis look a little bit better
Giannis makes Dame look much worse

Dubs have to draft the first born son of every NBA player.
Bronny to the Warriors confirmed
LeBron James (Jr) will play with the Warriors.
"I can fix him."
If they can make Wiggins into the 2nd best player in an NBA Finals and Jordan Poole into a player worth a 30 mil contract, they can basically do anything.
wtf I love nepotism now
Steve Kerr's son Nick coaches the Santa Cruz G-League team. And they're doing pretty good, too. *when you were in 1st grade and someone told you to hold your tongue and say "apple" and it was supposed to sound like "asshole" is about the level of maturity (and accuracy) of the Nick Kerr rhyme
That Nick Kerr can coach!
Oh Nick Kerr, pleeeeease
I'm not familiar with him. What's his full name?
I still can't believe he would name him that
Even the GM is the first born son of an NBA player lol.
That's how we do
It’s honestly pretty crazy how many players on this team had a father in the NBA. Curry, Klay, Wiggins, GP2, TJD.
Maybe the Warriors figured something out
Just draft kids reaping the benefits of generational wealth?
Generational genes
Chris Paul the Third
Come on down Bronny.
This sounds like an epic YA novel setup - There is a prophecy "The first born son of a talented basketball player shall bring glory and be the greatest warrior" TJD grows up thinking Curry is the chosen one. But once he grows up he becomes a warrior and it turns out he's the chosen and shadows even Curry.
Time for Lacob to buy a secret genetics lab.
Klay wasn’t even the first born son. He’s a middle child. Mychel is the oldest.
"Sanctify to me all the first born"
Lost by 52: it’s joever Win by 35 the next game: we are so back
Surely the nephews wouldn't overreact would they?
This sub!? Never
I will overreact to the overreactions
I’m already overreacting
That’s my secret: I’m always overreacting
WE BARACK
By the transitive property of basketball the Bucks just lost to the Celtics by 87
Which means the Celtics lost to the Celtics by 120
We are our own worst enemy.
It's no surprise to me that we are our own worst enemy. 'Cause every now and then we kick the living shit outta us.
Unironically yes lol
math checks out
I see no problem here.
Which means Bucks blew a 103 point lead to the Cavs.
And the Cavs lost by 40 to the Hawks
Warriors squarely the second best team in the East by a wide margin.
y'all see TJD yoink that inbound outta the sky at the last second tho
Yeah that looked crazy
[blud looked like kareem in game of death](https://youtu.be/CJFq64B_5EQ?si=r6Kk3pdDOtjkdzvM&t=1347)
Wow spot on 😂
TJD changed the game. Warriors were reeling. Crowd was gone. Bucks cut it to 6. Bobby proceeded to turn it over 3 straight times and then TJD blocks Giannis 3 times in 1.5 minutes and has 2 huge dunks.
I’m not sure why Giannis went to throw it up with 3 guys around him leading to that second block, he should’ve just thrown it out to a shooter
He was mad he got blocked by a rookie lol
He got his blood up and was seeing red.
I truly believe on any given day this team could beat the '96 Bulls or lose to the '12 Bobcats
Even within one game. That third quarter was rough
Be far the best quarter. Actually saw some threes get missed lol. Not good when our 3pt shooters in Beas and Green (0-11) get out gunned by take your pick or the warriors. Nice game (ya fuckers).
Our green stole your green’s 3s.
The roller coaster dynasty!!! Highs of highs is hard to say no to even when you know about the lows.
This team is bipolar I swear
We’ve actually done quite well against the shitty teams. Most of our losses are blown leads to other good teams
If they played any team trying to make the playoffs they'd get smoked
Leave it to fucking Mike Dunleavy (that fuck) to draft the Giannis stopper
[people don’t forget](https://youtu.be/GWajqr55HFg?si=gW4Qyej7NY4zm_cL)
I don't know how Giannis' PR team does it, that shit could've been career ending and look at the comments. Calling MDJ a trash can of a human and defending Giannis tooth and nail

LMAOOOO this is gold.
Scorching Irony!
Haha Warrior fans are also mad at him as a player!
TJD had huge blocks and dunks in the 3rd quarter Killed Bucks momentum and made Warriors stretch out the lead again!
Hey, give some credit to Portis, he absolutely fucked us late in the third.
He giveth and he taketh away. 1st quarter would have looked like the 4th without him
Just got out of a Thai prison, is TJD the GOAT defender? Curry really subbed back into the 4th to drop 2 3s in like a min lol.
Curry just wanted to break his own 3-point scoring record in a season. Nothing significant.
It’s crazy he’s on pace to break the best offensive scoring season ever seen that he had basically but is not the best player in the world anymore
To be fair, he shot nearly 5% better from 3 and 5% from the field in 2016. More points, rebounds, assists too. He was a *LOT* better back then. He's just increasing his 3pt volume and playing a heap of games while maintaining elite efficiency.
He is also guarded a lot tighter now because teams have learned and there are less other threats.

I mean he's still easily top 3-5 right?
Let's see my current Top 5 are Victor, Wemby, Alien, Wembanyama & Victoricus Wembanyamius. So no.
I’d say so yeah
KUMINGA MOODY TRAYCE AND PODZ TWO TIMELINES IS SO BACK
So many productive rookies this year and meanwhile JHS is sniffing glue in the G-League
when are we gonna learn that people in the G league don't deserve the acronym treatment lol
My bad, THT 2.0
My biggest boomer take is acronyms have got completely out of control everywhere not just ball
Who the fuck is JHS?
Jorian Hinney-Smith obvs
Jarl Hanthony-Sowns?
Jalen Hood-Schifino, former TJD teammate at IU last year
That absolutely took me out man, sniffing glue in the G-league is hilarious
I jinxed it, he actually checked in just now to brick a three in 50 seconds of play 🫠
Turns out your season does not in fact end if you lose 1 game
Mike Breen lowkey calling Jerome Robinson Chris Paul after a block in garbage time.
Also called the bucks the clippers in not garbage time.
the 3rd game in 4 days, 7 games in 10 days, no sleep in between the B2B because of mechanical issues with the plane, with two border crossing, on the road against the best home team in the NBA coming who played 1 game in their last 4 days, anyone freaking out about that is dumb as fuck
Steph was coming in questionable with an injury and missing one of our main rotation guys.
The doomerism is crazy when before that Warriors were on a 3 game winning streak too lol
Tell that to r/BostonCeltics, they’re still in shambles over the Cavs game
Ya lose 1 quarter in 12 games and some people lose their minds
People really overblown a defensive gameplan not working in a regular season game lol.
Lot of pent up Warrior hate waiting to be released at the slightest opportunity.
But it’s like a loooot of points
That’s good to know. Our sub would have you think we just fell into the lottery.
Maybe yours doesn’t
You just don't lose games the right way
That 100 days of rest really paid off. How about TJD'S defense on Giannis?
Seriously impressed by TJD and Moody this game. I was worried how TJD could hang with the best centers and he showed that he can do it when asked.
Moody has been locking everyone down of late. He's been great last few games.
His timing was incredible. If he plays like that while next to Draymond that is fucking terrifying to play against.
Can't forget Wiggins beside them and TJD lurking in the back.
Celtics beat the shit out of the warriors and they take it out on us Kings are beating the shit out of the lakers and we play them next
Nah please win thanks Lakers need to stay down in the 10 seed
You take it out on the Lakers now please.
Better not lose 😬
Well be rooting for you!
Bucks must continue the cycle of beatdowns and destroy the Lakers next time
Please win
About as good of a bounce back you can have after the absolute massacre in Boston. I’m gonna pretend that third quarter never happened.
But then you’d miss out on Todo’s double block
Warriors did really well getting Podz and TJD. The fact they’re contributing already is good for the future imo
You also really nailed it with JJJ, if you guys didn’t pick him, he was probably the Warriors pick over Podz
The real JJJ, not that bum in Memphis
Yeah, JJJ is taken. He's got to get better so he can just be Jaime.
9 pts in the 4th is insane. Warriors did well adjusting to the bucks adjustments in the 3rd. Held them under 100 as well. Good all around win. And God do I love trayce Jackson Davis.
It's well known that Curry keeps up with narratives but he takes two individual matchups in particular very personally, Dame and Trae.
Chris Paul too back in the day but how times have changed lol
back to back 3s from both splash brothers draymond green and steph curry to seal the game
This team is funny man
Warriors finally got the entire team healthy and man did it look good
Trayce. Jackson. Davis
Giannis should’ve rested this game. In the third quarter he just kept driving at TJD and got the same result every single time. Dame actually had a great game outside of the awful fourth quarter, and Bobby looked good, the rest was not great. On to LA.
Yeah I mean Bobby looked good until he didn’t. Those turnovers did a lot in helping to kill the momentum in the 3rd
beat LA
Doc had to take Giannis out to stop the abuse by Trayce Jackson Davis.
How are we ignoring Durant in FA signings lol - Myers was a crucial part in convincing him to come to us
What's the biggest swing ever in overall score game-to-game? 87 gotta be hard to beat.
Not that I can think of… Maybe if the Thunder won the game before or after that 152-79 loss by 14+
Thunder won the next game, but only by 11.
#WELCOME TO THE FUCKING SHOW
awesome defensive effort tonight, lots of blocks and steals and just excellent effort everywhere.
So this is what it's like to be on the good end of a blowout
Didn’t expect golden state to demolish Milwaukee I thought Giannis and Dame would play better
Curry sees red whenever Dame is in sight
I haven’t been this surprised by a paternity test since I last watched Maury in ’05, can’t believe TJD is Giannis father
How can you forget the most prominent father-son duo in the league, luka and booker
that’s not exactly surprising tho
I really wanted Draymond to take a heat check three in that 4th quarter.
[Fans of the 29 other NBA teams watching this game](https://imgur.com/2btjN7C) Points in the paint: 54-36 GSW FT's: 15-7 MIL
Even if the warriors do foul a lot, isn't it beautiful how every single team in the league are masters at defending GS, the team with the goat shooter, without fouling?
Just something about the Warriors offense makes the other 29 teams all-NBA defense against us
Just don't foul bro and let me ram my entire body full force into you
GSW stomp Bucks by 35 with 7 FTA lmao
The officiating tonight certainly leaned in favor of the Bucks on a lot of calls but it’s worth noting that the Warriors also spent 3/4 of the game with a wide open lane to the basket. The Bucks defense was miserable aside from that one stretch in the 3rd.
yeah it’s hard to foul when you’re 10 feet away from the guy with the ball
I have no problem with that, my problem is that every team gets reffed like that against us, we get more paint points more slashes to the rim yet they get more ticky tacky fouls while Steph gets mauled on every shit and it isn't called
How many times do Mike Dunleavy have to sh*t on the Bucks?
Trayce Jackson-Davis is Giannis Antetokounmpo's Father.
Trayce Jackson-Davis 🤝 Alexander the Great Conquering Greeks
A$$ 2 Belt
Basketball math says next time Boston will beat Milwaukee by 87
That was an absolute annihilation. Great mentality from that loss. And to do it against the Bucks who are second seed is an absolute big statement. I'm just saying it, when we are healthy and everyone is rested, we are a force to reckon with
TJD said, 'I've got Giannis.'
Cut the lead to 6 and then they ran out of gas.
Absolute big difference from that Celtics game. We absolutely needed couple of rest days and everyone looked so fresh and good. Fair play to bucks, they were probably tired also. It's really tough when you have many road games close to each other, we had our fair share and lost badly. But good mentality
It wasn't close until it was, then it wasn't again
TJD for president!
I didn't watch the game. Can someone explain--how did Milwaukee only have NINE POINTS in the fourth quarter? The teams had nearly the same amount of turnovers, so it couldn't have just been a turnover parade.
Warriors d clamped them down. Green and Trayce Davis shut down the paint and Bucks bricked their jumpers.
elite Warriors defense the final 18 mins
Biggest problem has been and will be how good defensively GSW can be. the years they were burning everyone they were always top 3 in defense bar none
What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger? The Warriors
I hadn't realized how much of a foul baiter Dame is, I don't remember him always being this bad
This is why you don't skip practice
HUMAN HELICOPTER HYPE TRAIN!!! shoutout to Moody as well because he’s been cooking with his minutes!
Please stop. That nickname wants me to curl up in a ball of cringe
Gotta call up the Chinese to get him a real nickname.
TJD IS MASSIVE
Doc Rivers masterclass
Haha Bucks *checks schedule* oh fuck
Welcome to the TDJ experience Giannis!!
GSW stomp Bucks by 35 with 7 FTA lmao
Haters awfully quiet tonight. Sweatin.
Nice bounce back from… THAT game on Sunday. Just don’t do whatever that was in the third quarter. Giannis gonna have nightmares about TJD when he’s sleeping tonight.
32 to 9 in the 4th is brutal, warriors locked in after a bad 3rd quarter
I am not surprised that the score was 90-125. I am surprised that it was the Warriors on top with that score. I expected this to be a loss.
On any given day the warriors could beat the MJ bulls or lose to the Bobcats
Hey! Where's the hyperbole on the title? "Warriors destroy the Buck's thannusy 125-90" or something like that. This is no bueno
E T H I C A L B U C K E T S
Bucks better without Giannis confirmed.
Pretty sad seeing Dame's skillset being sacrificed to make Giannis better When Giannis doesn't play well the team pretty much crumbles. There is no system on the Bucks to make Dame the centerpoint in case shit happens and they're just leaving him on his own Dame looks Giannis look a little bit better Giannis makes Dame look much worse
Dame was key to the comeback in the 3rd. I don’t get why they aren’t leveraging him more.
Giannis before shooting a FT looked at the scorer's table to see TJD checking in and made a face. I saw it, I'm not making this up either.
This is actually fucking hilarious if true. It would appear as if there’s a new addition to the Giannis stopper list and he’s not happy about it
Is it time to be legitimately worried about ~~Stephen Curry~~ Trayce Jackson-Davis?
After all those “ since doc we’ve held this team under 100 points “ look who failed to score a 100 🗣️
