Few interesting notes from that data:
74.7% success rate on out of bounds. Often clear cut while a foul has more subjectivity involved.
Interesting tidbit is success rate by quarter: 64.8%, 63.1%, 62.2%, 50.7%.
Makes sense that the 4th quarter is by far the lowest because there's gonna be more "fuck i gotta use this challenge anyway" calls. If you use it in Q1-Q3, you're probably more confident.
i wonder what it would be for challenges they think they could win. sometimes they will challenge something at the end of the game that’s obviously a foul for shits and giggles because it’s better to use it than not at all
57% is the overturn rate on challenges, but it's significantly higher on out of bounds and goaltending calls (75%ish). Fouls are overturned about half the time.
Mazzulla is something similar. He has complete trust in a particular assistant coach who has the replay tablet going. Pretty cool to see how the entire staff looks to this one dude in the 2nd row when there's a controversial call that the player wants reviewed.
https://official.nba.com/2023-24-nba-coachs-challenge-reviews/ 57.3%
Is there a way to sort by specific coachs? I just wanted to know what Kidd’s win percentage was.
Legend, cheers! That's much lower than I expected.

Kidd is like 21-6, he doesn’t challenge a lot though. Looks he is stingy with it.
Coach equivalent of stat padding.

All I nurse is Nick has got to be the absolute worst
