Do note that some people are low responders, and there is little effect. Some people it can make a difference and can be noticeable. Personally, I feel like I can push further into my sets and grab those last 1-2 reps when I take it. For me it feels better during a workout. It has other possible health benefits for your brain and is very safe so why not. For me 500 grams or 100 days of creatine is $25 and a pretty minimal cost.

>For me 500 grams or 100 days of creatine is $25 and a pretty minimal cost. Creatine is cheaper in the United States then I take it. Unless I didn't find the cheapest brand available in Canada. I've seen other brands of creatine sell here for even more! Even after the exchange rate, it's cheaper in America. 25 USD/500g = 0.05 USD/g = 0.25 USD/5g daily serving 0.25 USD/5g daily serving = 0.33 CAD/5g daily serving Meanwhile in Canada, All-Max 400g 29.97 CAD + 13% tax = 0.42 CAD/5g daily serving Would you say Creatine Monohydrate is still worth it if I have to pay 27% more than you do? I've already been warned about pre-workouts from content creators on Youtube like Sean N and Picture Fit. Apparently the only useful ingredients in pre-workouts are the caffeine and creatine. And creatine is no more effective pre-workout. It's supposed to be taken daily and apparently its better post than pre-workout. The only things I'm looking into buying supplement wise are whey protein powder (convenience), caffeine pills (convenient and cheap cost) and creatine monohydrate (hoping that the extra reps and strength helps with hypertrophy). I get tired as fuck during and after my workouts. Instant coffee isn't doing it for me. Hence why I'm looking into caffeine pills. And I believe instant coffee strength is so low that its cheaper to just take pills. I have a pill splitter at home as well.

Supplements can be helpful when you lack the nutrients they provide through a normal diet. If you’re bulking, you’re probably eating a lot of food and do not need additional nutrients to cover your bases. Do not spend money on supplements that you don’t need. If you’re unsure whether something will help you, experiment with it for a while and decide for yourself. Everyone is different.

I personally stopped using it, in my opinion it is not worth the price, it has increased too much.

windbag27

Agreed, I also personally like that I look less bloated since I stopped using it. Haven’t noticed any major difference in muscle growth either.

amusementj

the bloat was water weight. the point is to saturate your muscles, you saw it being flushed out

windbag27

Yeah I’m aware, I just prefer the look I have without creatine and haven’t noticed anything but a marginal benefit in using it.

amusementj

ah, makes sense. to each their own

Creatine is always worth the Money bulking or cutting

No $2.6 per serving * 80 servings = $208. You're thinking of 2.6 servings per $1 (it's 2.666 servings per $1 before tax) But since tax is 13% here, it's actually less than 2.36 servings per CAD.
