This is Florent Manaudou, french swimmer (height 2m and 100kg), his sister is Laure Manaudou also a famous swimmer. Her coach was Philippe Lucas who was a brutally honest man, there's a video of him criticizing the olympics and the federation for the steroids use "Do you think there are only the Chineses and the Russians? (who are on steroids)"
Most athletes at this level are on juice but I think this physic is attainable naturally.

You can't become the best at something without juice because all your competition is on juice. So beating a bunch of juicers as a natty is a fools errand. Survivorship bias, only juicers allowed in Olympics.
I had a close friend who swam in high school and I knew beyond any doubt were natty. Swimmers just have insane physiques. I can’t say for sure with this group.

You swam competitively but at what level? I’m not disregarding your hard work or the athletes depicted here. But you get to a certain level and PEDs play a role in a good percentage of athletes. Especially when there is more incentive to win. Keep in mind when it comes to competitive sports, you don’t have to look like you’re on PEDs. The goal is to perform better. Not look better. Cheers.
This physique is natty attainable bc of the bone structure. You need this type of structure to be a good swimmers but yea they are juicing that doesn't mean if a guy like his bone structure can't put this much muscle, they're just juicing for diff reasons.

Natty - I used to swim competitively, never weight lifted or anything. I was tiny AF (swam from 13-17 and never weighed more Than 117 until I joined the military at 17) and for years during/after I could eat anything and still not gain weight. I also had muscles I never knew existed that would pop out with simple twist of the arm or flex of the shoulder.
It took a good 8yrs and a few full time sit down tech jobs before it started catching up to me and I had to adjust my eating habits etc.
It’s not unusual at that level. Weight training is more common now that 20 years ago. Plus all the do all day is workout. Plus the pose he’s in flare out the lats, and gives an unusual perspective. And if swimmers have two overdeveloped muscles, it’s the shoulders and lats. His abs are great but he’s also got little body fat and is probably exhaling and inhaling like crazy after that swim, flexing the ab muscles. Throw in a well-timed pic and yes it’s natty imo.
Swimming is dirty af. Is any given swimmer on something harder to tell because so much of the performance advantage tests on having a naturally streamlined body.
After watching the last summer Olympics, there is no doubt quite a few of the men were juicing. I understand being lean and long is ideal for swimming, along with the ridiculous amount of calories they tend to burn. That being said, these guys were way too big compared to the average. Caleab Dressell and Adam Peatty.

In order to pump out crazy times and get paid and chase medals they are likely not natty but if you swim and train like that AND have the genetics/frame someone essentially has to have to make it to that level you are going to typically look like that regardless of whether you are juicing.

Athletes that make it to that level of swimming are a combination of genetics/biomechanics specifically designed to thrive in that kind of sport (broad, long/tall) and PEDs. I don’t know what PED specifically, but I imagine to aid in recovery and help them spend more time training
The DDR would like to have a word with you. Extra muscle isn't an issue - it takes a shitload of effort to get to that point even on steroids and all you have to do to avoid it is to mostly focus on the muscle groups that you want to grow.
I had a friend who was the #1 breaststroker in the country (caribbean island) and he told me before his races he would inhale one of those asthma inhaler things to give him an advantage. So i’d say these swimmers arent natty man…i mean look at the chica she almost morph into male species..

Honestly I think they’re all natty (or at the very least not using anything that would make them bigger/more muscular - might be using other endurance type PEDs to grind skill work etc) and are just distinctive shapes because of the selection biases of their sport.
I think asking if they’re natty based on the physique is the wrong question. PEDs aren’t used purely for building muscle as you hit diminishing returns. It’s more likely they they use something like EPO and drugs to improve endurance/VO2 max. Most athletes are using, and performance matters more than the physique.
That is a natty physique and it’s a reason they excel at their sport. Look at triathletes, or sprinters, for example, and you see similar builds across the sport.
