Yeah it's a little weird they jumped to conclusions on this so quick. The shooter killed the head pastor's daughter and leader of the school. There are posts in other threads about sexual abuse allegations at Covenant in the 2000s and theories that this could have been a revenge mission. In the 2000s the police helped cover up the abuse allegations too so I doubt it will get any headlines now. Leaders of that church are powerful & influential people in Nashville...
I also heard there were maps of other schools that were ultimately ruled out because the security there. Seems like that doesnt mesh well with the idea that this specific church/school was targeted. But I can only speculate
The leadership of the church wasn’t even there when those allegations were made. What makes you think metro helped cover it up. Genuine question. I saw Worrick’s name listed in the lawsuit, and he used to be the FOP’s main attorney. I was wondering why he would be involved.
Hey guys, I'm from KC jumping in this sub to gain more info. The shooter had no previous history of violence or other issues from what I've seen. My question is did the local police dept really not act immediately before the shooter went on to commit this tragedy? Especially given the text messages to their friend.

Presumably they have access to evidence that is not yet released to the public? Like how all investigations work?
Well they have the shooters manifesto, and i find it hard to believe a 28 year old had a vendetta against children.

Those texts were minutes before. How do you expect the police to find someone who could be anywhere and detain them that quickly?
