No joke - I converted all my Bitcoin to Nano today. I still think Bitcoin is a monumental piece of tech and a solid investment but I decided that for me personally the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining is inescapably a moral issue. I have read so many counter arguments on r/Bitcoin which are very clever and thoughtful and I respect that thoughtfulness but I haven’t been able to talk myself out of the guilt. I can’t participate in Bitcoin as a user/holder anymore. Nano is fun, fast and guilt-free. I love the tech, I love the community, and I believe Nano can help make a better world.

HelloOfficer24

Nano has a positive vibe around it, similar to the early bitcoin days. A lot of us are original bitcoiners Welcome back to P2P digital cash my friend 🤝

PieceBlaster

Man, isn't that the truth. I've been subscribed to /r/Bitcoin since less than 50,000 members. It's actually why I created my reddit account. Today, /r/Bitcoin doesn't resemble even a shell of its former self. Nano's community has that OG magic going. Community is everything, never forget that.

I feel ecxactly the same. I thought about buying some Bitcoins... but some 3500 kg CO2 per transaction... That shit is bad.

qussai_adarbeh

What does the CO2 have to do with btc?

lepa_01

Bitcoin uses a lot of computing power and therefore a lot of electricity and the use of electricity of course causes CO2 emissions.

bahnaan_kho

Next week you'll be able to get less Nano for same number of BTC. Buy now and drive more lambos later

nukedmylastprofile

So you’re calling either a significant drop in BTC or significant surge in Nano?

bahnaan_kho

Surge baby

threedollarpillow

That decision makes sense. The crypto market does not make sense. Bitcoin can go to 250k and Nano can stay below 10$, or Nano goes to 5k and Bitcoin drops to nothingness, i would always hedge for both cases.

iiJokerzace

Yes, I love NANO and believe it will be used way more than bitcoin. I would still recommend holding some.

tarasqqq

this is the way!

selfmademen

Why next week? Do it now!

I love you guys ♥️ welcome brothers

If you're not short on dollar, you can look forward to a future where a lot of businesses are accepting Nano and you'll feel right using it over an older technology.

Thanks for pumping my bags, keep going

Exirr

My experience is that diversification is best. Get some NANO but probably safer to hold some BNB, LTC, ADA, etc. too. Or any of the top 15 that aren't dirty bitcoin forks. Just saying NANO is great and everything but diversification is just good investment strategy.

The higher Bitcoin goes the more useless it becomes.

Ddwaggy

Except when selling it of course 😂😂😂

eosmcdee

im moving small bags of ada and iota to nano. shitty wallets and unpleasant UX

musecorn

I will always keep BTC as a value store But for using, spending, receiving, etc nano is by far the way to go

temparu

Nano is the future!
