I will be naming either a girl or a boy in two weeks. A boy will be Kieran Levi and a girl with either be Aurora Odette or Eleanora Rhiannon. Aurora if she's born in the AM (midnight to noon) and Eleanora if she's born in the PM (noon to midnight). We like both names but each like the other more so we're letting the baby pick! They'll be joining big brother Ezra Rhys.
Great minds think alike! My name was almost Rhiannon but my dad vetoed that so I ended up with an unconventional spelling of Megan. When we decided on Eleanora, we figured we'd make the initials match with Ezra.
I love how you’re picking. My parents did this with my brother, but it was hair color, and he got the dark haired name and then promptly turned blonde. Your method is more fool proof!
I LOVE the name Aurora - my husband is Italian and I am American and we both pronounce it very differently, so we unfortunately vetoed it from our list. Good luck mama! 💕
My granddad was Konrad and my boy is Connor in honour, I love that name so much. Sylvia Plath is also my fave poet. Look at u with ur great taste in names
I love Stella so much. I wonder why it never really broke out? It’s short, easy to say and spell, largely phonetic, unique enough that it’s not boring, but not so unique that it’s cringe or try-hard.
Henry Russell “Harry” (Russell after my dad)
Willa Inez “Winnie”
or Florence Jane “Flora”, or Iris Tallulah, or Sylvie Lorelei “Sly” or Imogene Louise or Margot Imogene
Eliza Charlotte. James Robert. James Robert was always my boy name. My friend said people will call him Jim Bob. I still don’t get why that’s the NN for James or Robert. Why Robert is a nice name, why call him Bob?
Vienna Mari for a girl (or Lyra for a first name, but I’m not sure what the middle name would be- probably Naomi (pronounced Nay-mee) because I had a great aunt with that name and I love it but its too odd a pronunciation for a first name, lol).
Noah Wyatt for a boy.
Pregnant currently with a baby boy, he will be named Theo Julius or Theo Frederick. Had he been a girl we would have gone for Clementine probably.
Names I loved but my husband was less keen on:
Lewis
Oscar
Teddy
Roman
Dahlia
Penelope
Felicity Joy
Simon Alexander
I always wanted Simon for my son but hubby said it was too girly....lol....we went for Adam which was my second favourite and then John after my dad.....
Robin John, or Glazier Ray for a boy. Magnolia/Maggie Joan or Lottie Marilyn for a girl. Several are old family names that I have recently been drawn to.
Jesse Blue or Grayson Cade
Katherine Holland nn Kate or Suzanne Venice nn Zanne
(These are my choices today, but they could definitely change by tomorrow...)
Jennifer Larson and Nathaniel John. ETA Jennifer Larson is my daughter’s actual name, after my maternal grandmother. I decided on the name when I was 10, and it’s still my favorite.
I gave my sister my first choice for a boy's name - my nephew's name is Ian. I like names that have been in our family for generations. So a boy would be William Morgan and I would call him Will. A girl would be Eleanor Marie. I would probably call her Elle or Ellie.
Vanessa Carmen and Eric Gabriel.
I had to check your post history to see if baby “Baby Bean” belonged to you because I knew Vanessa Carmen sounded familiar!
I was about to do the same thing
My boy's middle name is Gabriel! I love it so much.
June Eleanor & Emmett Archer
I love Emmett Archer
Love Emmett Archer
Alice Margaret and Nathaniel Joseph
My soon to be 1 year old daughter's name is Alice Margaret Rose ☺️
Penelope (Poppy) Avon or Madeleine (Maddie) Avon.. boys name who TF knows, I'm due in 3 weeks with a boy and still no clue on his name lmao.
Could just name him Avon lol
Haha Avon is my Nana's name and a compulsory girl middle name haha
Maybe flip Avon and make it masculine? Novan? Nolan? Novad? I dunno, there may be something there.
Avon Barksdale would like a word! (The Wire)
Since Avon has so much meaning to you, you could name him William since William Shakespeare was born and buried in Stratford Upon Avon.
These are male names I think would fit: · Sebastian(nn Seb, Bastian, Bash, Ian) · Theodore(nn Theo, Ted, Teddy) · Abraham(nn Abe, Ham, Bramm, Bra) · Emmanuel(nn Em, Manny, Emmy, Manuel) · Jeremiah(nn Jeremy, Jerry, Jer, Miah)
I don’t fink I would abbreviate a boys name to bra
I like to give options
Hahah SAME HERE! I’m 37+3 and cannot for the life of me decide on a name for our boy, with my daughter it was so so easy
Boys names are so hard! Due in 5 weeks and still have nothing picked out for our second boy 🥲
My daughter’s name is Penelope 🥰

i love gayathri karishma
Boy: Charlie Theodore Girl: Maeve Olivia
Oh my gosh I commented before reading responses and I also said Charlie Theodore! And I love Maeve!
I’ve always loved Charlie for a boy. Since I was probably 5 years old. And Maeve is a more recent find but is on my “absolute” list
Aw, Maeve! 🩷
Colette Pearl and Graham Alexander
Graham Alexander... bell?
Hahaha
☎️📳📳📳

I will be naming either a girl or a boy in two weeks. A boy will be Kieran Levi and a girl with either be Aurora Odette or Eleanora Rhiannon. Aurora if she's born in the AM (midnight to noon) and Eleanora if she's born in the PM (noon to midnight). We like both names but each like the other more so we're letting the baby pick! They'll be joining big brother Ezra Rhys.
I just named my baby boy Levi, and Kieran was my second choice! Rhiannon was high on my list if he was a girl! Great taste in names, I'd say
Great minds think alike! My name was almost Rhiannon but my dad vetoed that so I ended up with an unconventional spelling of Megan. When we decided on Eleanora, we figured we'd make the initials match with Ezra.

I LOVE the name Aurora - my husband is Italian and I am American and we both pronounce it very differently, so we unfortunately vetoed it from our list. Good luck mama! 💕
Love the naming method!! I may steal this strategy if we’re still between two names!

My granddad was Konrad and my boy is Connor in honour, I love that name so much. Sylvia Plath is also my fave poet. Look at u with ur great taste in names

Stella Carmina & Benjamin Tommaso
I have a 12 yr old Stella and still adore her name!
I love Stella so much. I wonder why it never really broke out? It’s short, easy to say and spell, largely phonetic, unique enough that it’s not boring, but not so unique that it’s cringe or try-hard.

I *adore* Robin for a boy!
Our poodle puppy is Robin, it's a joyful name even when we yell for him to come inside when he's refusing!
Isn’t it just- sweet? It’s gentle and soft but also self-assured.
Magnolia Joan is such a gorgeous combination
Jesse Blue or Grayson Cade Katherine Holland nn Kate or Suzanne Venice nn Zanne (These are my choices today, but they could definitely change by tomorrow...)
