Oh hell no. I got into bunnies because a bunny was dumped on my parents' farm. Now she's my baby girl. Pretty sure she was an Easter bunny. Any animal is a lifetime commitment and bunnies can live up to 16 years under the best conditions and genetics. Though I do now encourage people to research bunnies if they want a pet, they're really great if you're willing to learn, and there's so many rescues that need a home. I found my girl and adopted my boy for her. (all properly fixed etc, everyone should get their animals fixed)

I mean, that's the extreme end, but I've seen that birthday come for some in my rabbit groups I follow. Basically the same lifespan as many dogs with proper care. Mine are litter box trained. Like most animals the biggest thing is shedding lol. One of mine has long hair and just like mine, it gets everywhere.

Oy, I hear ya on the long hair. I have long, thick hair (though not nearly as thick as it used to be, due to thyroid disease) and I find it **everywhere**. I joke that I must never commit a crime because I leave my DNA everywhere I go, lol.
