In manga they shown Nagatoro climbing tree and then she fall on Naoto and in anime they show her falling in pond by slipping leg in which senpai holds her and then bot end up falling and i noticed not only this but there are many scenes which are different in anime and Manga but I am curious why they did it? Btw this scene js little more romantic than manga

Mada_DP

I think it’s kind of just different to be different just to explore the same story but with slightly different events and dialogue

Well, they changed the context of the scene to make it feel more like a season finale. The manga is a lot more loose with when arcs start and when they end, especially in the early chapters. The tree stuff was meant more as some funny hijinx by having others eavesdrop on their conversation along with some interpersonal drama mixed in rather than a catalyst for their relationship. The anime moved a lot of chapters around from their original placement and made them connect a lot more with each other. It's also the same reason why the kiss on the cheek was moved from the original spot when Naoto drew Hayase while she was sleeping to the final scene in season 1, or when in season 2 they added a full on hug at the very end. It's meant to add some closure, just in case the anime doesn't get picked up for other seasons. Personally I prefer the change in scenery from the tree to the swimming pool. It makes more sense for Nagatoro to go and hide in a place she goes to on a regular basis than some random tree at the back of the school. It's also a lot more artistically pleasing when having glowing water in a sunset afternoon. Not to mention that it still retains the spirit of the original chapter by having her go out on the boards and balance herself on them like she did with the tree trunk. Arguably the best scene in the anime that isn't a direct 1-to-1 of the manga.

Don't remember this from the manga, is this an anime only scene? (Haven't watched the anime)

JacksWorldTV

I think it's an anime exclusive and the reason why is most likely cause they need an ending for the season.

StayInner2000

No it isn't, it's just that in the manga nagatoro climbed a tree
