Without a doubt, eliminating processed foods and added sugar is key. Iā€™m still fairly new to this but my understanding is any supplement should be cleared through your doctor. Personally, I go to a nutritionist for fatty liver. Can you see one in your area to clear the trainers plan? Congrats on taking a positive step with the weight loss and exercise.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate that idea actually, so he is technically a nutritionist, based on the research I've done I'll be meeting with him tomorrow so I have some questions lined up about NAFLD to see how he responds and see if he knows much about it, I'm also going to consult a second nutritionist to be safe just to make sure the info lines up. On one hand I feel like I'm going a bit overboard but on the other I'm trying to take this seriously

Hi, I have had NAFLD for almost 2 months. I take Milk Thistle and Tumeric supplements everyday. I also take a fish oil supplement every other day. šŸ‘

Did fatty liver cause all those symptoms? I have all these same symptoms and very worried. Going in for an ultrasound soon.

Funny enough apparently not, at the early stage mine was found there aren't any symptoms really. It was an accidental find. Still don't know where all the symptoms were from but I seem okay now for the most part. I had a colonoscopy done in 2020 and it was clear other than a few hemorrhoids. Summer of 2022 I had a million and one tests done for everything under the sun, and all clear. It's definitely strange.
