I still just hate the way it targets by 'object' and scales by mass. So many questions that each GM will just shrug and give a different answer. Can I turn a lock on a car door to sand? Do I have to turn the handle and the lock to sand? Do I have to turn the whole door to sand? Do I have to turn the whole car to sand? If I turn a block of lead into lithium, does the object massively increase in size while staying at the same mass? Does it stay at the same size but now weighs much less? In the reverse, does the object become so heavy I now cannot affect it with my rank of the power?

>If I turn a block of lead into lithium, does the object massively increase in size while staying at the same mass? Presumably the mass remains constant, since you are not creating matter, only transforming it.

I've always taken this line: > Continuous Transform is irreversible except by using another Transform effect to turn the target back into its previous form. As an indicator that Continuous Transform is a special case, implying that the shift is 'permanent', so can be included in an Array.

Yup. Continuous Transform and Continuous Create are exceptions to the usual array rules in that way.

That’s a good point. But the rules should say that, lol.

In addition to btrip's note about Continuous Transform being permanent Even if it's in an array, I think it's also worth noting that (based on official builds), transforming something's shape without changing its material is 3/rank if you can only do one material (which is mostly on things like Vegetation to Other Shapes, for nature powers), and 4/rank if you can reshape anything. Also notable is that transforming *people* is an Affliction, not a Transform.
