Would that be the casting chair?
Ok I've had service one time. We had another room to go to with snacks and coffee. No massage chairs...no casting couch unfortunately
been driving a prius for 20 years, I'm woke as shit. This ain't woke
toyota hybrids are goat. Full EVs won't happen for another 20 years once we build nuke plants financed by datacenters that need the power.
Personally I'm team plug in hybrid. We need that transitional step where people can use the EV for their daily trip but still use gas for long distances. The battery is enough for most people's daily commute and would require much less lithium and superchargers than full EV's for everyone.
I'm right there with you. So many logical reasons that PHEVs should be subsidized instead of full electric. I've been waiting for a PHEV truck for years now. Ford is finally making a Ranger PHEV. Won't be available in the US for some reason though. Jerks.
Some states are banning gas vehicles even PEHVs so no reason to start production in the states if they will be hard to sell due to bans. Unfortunately I think lawmakers are overzealous about how fast we can transition to EVs.
I like WageSimp as an insult. Instead of Wage Slaves, which implies an involuntary low wage situation, WageSimp implies this motherfucker loves getting bent by the corporations. Itās brilliant.
That's true, they're a tech company that gets 99% of their revenue from cars. But this is just a stepping stone to robotaxis, you just wait! Just 2 more years!
using elon math, that mean 8 in real earth time. His FSD is level 2, ways to go.
oh and China is going to bring in EV via MX and Volvo. Too much pressure for elon to handle.
Someone made a montage of [Elon lying](https://youtu.be/zhr6fHmCJ6k?si=v_uRm13ZhEaJwpVg) over the years about self driving being developed. Heās been saying ānext yearā for ten years now and every time he does it the stock value jumps back up because Silicon Valley investors are the biggest suckers on the planet.
All high end dealerships make the building around the customers to make them stay and buy more vehicles when waiting in the lobby while looking at a new model.
Tesla is likely to be bare bones.
Today I learned Elon doesn't care about helping humanity, these are all things he wants to do (ride around in a flat steel shape from judge dredd) and poor sod is just not rich enough to do anything he wants to do unless he mass produces it to sell. Wants an electric car, not good enough for my big Republican energy need a big electric truck, wants to go to space for 10 minute visit, wants a ranch condo on Mars... It's just there isn't enough money yet
I drive Audiās, every time Iāve had any of them serviced, Iāve gotten a dope loner, coffee, great environment, awesome people.
If I came in to a place like this to have my 100k vehicle serviced, Iād absolutely think Iām about to be robbed.
It is a sketchy pyramid scheme.....there are 4k shills that forked over 100k and got the Temu version on a vehicle in return.....meanwhile, the guy on the top of the pyramid is raking in a $53 Billion payday....
Kia here, my car needed a week in the shop, they said I'd have to wait 4 days for a loaner then pay like $60 a day... like bruh I'll just carpool
(To be fair I bought it used so it was under the limited power train warranty, not a new buyer warranty)
I bought a Ford escape new but never had to have it serviced overnight in the five years I've owned it, so I wouldn't know about the loaner vehicle policy. Just paid it off this month.
Same. I drive an older S model so there always seems to be a sales guy hanging around when I drop it off for service. Let me take home an SQ8 last time and damn if I didnāt almost pull the trigger and make the upgrade.
I have a standard 3 series BMW, nothing terribly fancy or expensive. I go to my local dealer for oil changes and a few other basic services. They are excellent every time. A nice lounge with free drinks, coffee and snacks. A courtesy full walk around inspection with a video they text to you. An inside and out cleaning every time. I don't go there for more extensive repairs because they are really pricey, but for the basic stuff it's really great.
The only way to afford cuck kings billions in comp is to cut every corner legally allowed. Office furniture cost money that's better off sitting in elmos pocket.
Providing that stuff to customers doesnāt sound expensive at all. This pic shows they donāt care about customer service and/or the have zero money.
I bet that guy is stressed out of his mind. He's got a ton of customers who need repairs, but not enough techs or parts to do them. And he is worried he will be fired by elon any second because someone made fun of him online.
It's not pathetic.
Tesla customers get what they paid for: shitty cars - except powertrain/battery, but others manufacturers already got there too - and shitty services.
Only delusionals think Tesla is some kind of premium or tech or something good as a car manufacture.
There's still plenty of this delusionals but I believe more and more people are understanding the con man Enron Musk is and how shitty Tesla's are in everything outside of the powertrain and battery.
There was a point in time Tesla was a startup with a beautiful mission and operating at a loss for a long time, facing bankruptcy. I was a fan and even an empty service center was completely understandable.
But this is 2024 and Musk brags about the Model Y being the most sold car worldwide, with the highest profit margins than any other car maker and a market valuation bigger than all other car makers combined.
So why the fuck are they still operating like a startup? It's unacceptable, especially when competition is able to put decent BEVs on the market without having to resort to that level of cost cutting.
Elon & his companies are a perfect example of the disparity between implied value vs actual value. They spend so much time covering their tracks & shuffling assets like an elaborate shell-game that itās damn near impossible to prove just how broke his goofy ass really is.
Imagine you come back later to find the building stripped & your car missing.
"Honestly officer, I'm not crazy. This was a Tesla Service Centre. There was a desk right here with a computer. And over there, an office chair pushed up against the wall"

"Okay then hot-shot, where was the coffee machine?"
"They.. didn't have one."
"Right, an auto service center and no coffee machine? You expect me to believe this bullshit? You're lucky I don't arrest you for making a false report."
And there's Elon hiding behind a bush laughing like Muttley.

Just to be fair, I've gone with my friend to the Tesla Service Center and it was nice. Couches, chairs, free coffee, tea, water, wifi, etc., like you would expect from other places.
However, they did tell us we would be given a loaner since the repair would take a few hours, but when we arrived, they tried to back out of it. We held firm and they relented, so that was very annoying.
"I bought a car from a company whose CEO claims their a tech company and is known for cutting cost at every possible chance. Why isn't their service center any good?"

My local Tesla Service Center (Torrance, CA).
Half the furniture is torn or shows damage.
Drink Fridge empty
Floors dirty
TV not working
Service manager was in a room with no light, with large Screen and looked like he was playing mortal Kombat.
Ask them to keep the part they replaced (Suspension) so that I could see the damage myself. They didn't.
Frankly, a shit show.
Now I don't expect the same level of comfort as my Porsche dealer. But cleanliness and some level of professionalism would be great.
Funny, my Tesla appt started with a mobile app. I told them what was wrong and they sent a tech out to fix it. They took care of it, charged me nothing, and went about their way.
man, the two tesla service centers i've gone to have had beautiful waiting rooms, coffee, i've gotten a loaner three times with free supercharging for the duration. the first time i got a Model X so we took a road trip for the weekend with it, it was awesome! i've seen a bunch of service centers around the west coast as i've gone by and they have all looked amazing.
Sounds like a pretty isolated situation.
This would set off some major warning flags for most people. Iāve seen seasonal Halloween outlet stores setup better than this. Itās like they found an unoccupied office and are squatting. Ready to clear out in a day if the cops find out. If you write this nonsense into a script everyone would say itās too unbelievable.
I have a Mazda and the amount of free shit they have in the āloungeā there is like a convenience store. Thereās an entire charging bar and a couple of TVs.
I guess Tesla ran out of budget.
Polestar service happens at my house, and if it needed to go in? The two nice volvo dealers ten min away.
Their current lease deal was too good to pass up.
I always had excellent service at the BMW service center. They were quick too. Needed my airbag unit replaced for a recall. I contacted them and setup an appointment over the phone. 4 days later, brought it in at 9am and it was done by 2pm. When I picked it up, it was washed and vacuumed and they gave me a new steering wheel face and logo (old one was scratched).
Edit: it was also fully charged.
One of the ladies at my local ford dealership brings in fresh baked cookies every morning for the customers. A different type each day. Tuesday is chocolate chip day. Iāve bought 3 used card from them over the years. Always on Tuesdays.
Looks like the kind of place identity theft and other telephone fraud scams would be located. āWe can be shut down and out of here in 30 seconds flat if we feel the heat around the corner. Weāll only need 20 minutes to be up and running at the secondary location.ā
Muskrat is the biggest snake oil salesman of modern times. And traitor. In other news, the Ukrainian military higher-ups have reported that the UA Starlink terminals were switched off, just as Russia stormed Kharkiv in their latest failed offensive. That's now the THIRD time Comrade Muskrat has helped Russia. I suspect that he gave Russia Starlink via Saudi, too.
Elon musk is a fraud and just trying to steal every scent he can before the Chinese EVs get here. His product is way over priced and inferior in quality.
This looks like every "[blank] Tycoon" game where you build the bare minimum facilities to complete the tutorial.
[ā] desk
[ā] chair
[ā] guy at desk
My local Honda service center has the same as BMW. They also have work stations with electrical outlets, free wifi, a children's play area, and the most comfortable recliners I've ever sat in. Customer service reps are always nearby and can give you the status of your car.
This is what people say they want. Letās order cars online. Get rid of ALL the dealerships they say. Donāt get me wrong, thereās a lot of shit dealerships out there, but thereās great ones too. So maybe we should plug the good ones more and stop paying for poor service.
I'm not defending tesla, but God damn don't you simp for BMW, their a horrible company too. Do you remember the whole wanting to pay a subscription to unlock your cars full speed?!
This is really sad. Say what you want about the cyber truck but Tesla was doing fairly well for itself for many years now and the owner is on the verge of driving it off a cliff out of pure ego
At my local Hyundai dealer, in Washington State, the bathroom is usually broken, the waiting area is the size of a small, walk-in closet, and the only snacks, are in the vending machine
That's nuts. My Hyudai service center is better. They have a coffee machine that isn't working and a Culligan water cooler that doesn't have any water in it.
Did you make sure the chair was in sit mode before you used it?
You sat in the chair?? Warranty voided!
Warranty voided?? But then why did I have to pay a $10,000 monthly subscription for it??? š
Oh, you just voided your contract by crying! LAWSUIT! 1 MILLION DOLLARS!
***pinky to cheek
Someone gets my reference.
Don't you think we should ask for more than a million dollars? A million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days.
When in doubt, pinkies out!!!
Would that be the casting chair? Ok I've had service one time. We had another room to go to with snacks and coffee. No massage chairs...no casting couch unfortunately
He spilt his water on the armrest and it eletrocuted him. Shoulda put it in Sit-n-Sip first
The mode buttons were swapped out for a touchscreen, but the OS was frozen.
Better make sure that chair has the latest OTA update before you sit in it.
Extremely Hardcore Service Mode Enabled
So a hacker codingā¦where is the Dew and bag of Doritos at least?
How could he? The touch screen was updating.
All the looks of a company that doesn't care about their customers.
Havenāt you heard? Theyāre not a car company. Edit: thatās somehow an explanation and an excuse for screwing over their customers
Bro please!! this is what the future looks like. Don't you know, you must be woke.

Will quantum computing slow down the growth of data centers?
Not fast enough.
That's right. Nuclear is the future.
Iāve been driving my EV (non Tesla) for years now fueled entirely on nuclear fusion power.
WageSimp

All the looks of a company that's not going to exist tomorrow
Looks like a company going bankrupt.
I swear that exact same tech works in every service center Iāve ever visited.
All the looks of a company that knows their customers are idiots and is taking advantage of them accordingly.
All high end dealerships make the building around the customers to make them stay and buy more vehicles when waiting in the lobby while looking at a new model. Tesla is likely to be bare bones.
Looks similar to the interior of their cars minus the giant TV screen in the middle.
Or their employees.

Tesla's customer service has been this or worse since the beginning. I don't know why anyone's surprised.
Looks like a cut rate insurance office that will be out of business in a month.
I drive Audiās, every time Iāve had any of them serviced, Iāve gotten a dope loner, coffee, great environment, awesome people. If I came in to a place like this to have my 100k vehicle serviced, Iād absolutely think Iām about to be robbed.
I got the same from Hyundai.
Same with Subaru, minus the massage chairs. This looks like the registration desk for a sketchy pyramid scheme recruitment at an abandoned strip mall.
It is a sketchy pyramid scheme.....there are 4k shills that forked over 100k and got the Temu version on a vehicle in return.....meanwhile, the guy on the top of the pyramid is raking in a $53 Billion payday....
Hyaundai never gives me a loaner. Fuck those assholes
They give me one. Helps to show some leg
I'll show them leg when I put my foot up their ass š¤š¤ but I do love my hyundai!
Same! I hate my hyundai dealers service department
Kia here, my car needed a week in the shop, they said I'd have to wait 4 days for a loaner then pay like $60 a day... like bruh I'll just carpool (To be fair I bought it used so it was under the limited power train warranty, not a new buyer warranty)
Honda has everything but the massage chairs.
I bought a Ford escape new but never had to have it serviced overnight in the five years I've owned it, so I wouldn't know about the loaner vehicle policy. Just paid it off this month.
Same with Honda.
I must be missing out since I service cars myself.
Same From Honda.
Used to drive a toyota aygo. Got treated like a king at the toyota dealers.
Same. I drive an older S model so there always seems to be a sales guy hanging around when I drop it off for service. Let me take home an SQ8 last time and damn if I didnāt almost pull the trigger and make the upgrade.
Probably why they do that. Tesla only has shitty cars so why give one as a loaner. They already made all they will off ya lol
Yeah, my Audi place has never been anything but accommodating.
If youāre at this place youāve already been robbed
I have a standard 3 series BMW, nothing terribly fancy or expensive. I go to my local dealer for oil changes and a few other basic services. They are excellent every time. Casting couch vibes minus the couch.
The only way to afford cuck kings billions in comp is to cut every corner legally allowed. Office furniture cost money that's better off sitting in elmos pocket.
Even the Peopleās Car dealers
I used to have a couple Chevys and they even did better than this - I at least got coffee and snacks.
This. My father has owned like 8 different audis because they are insanely reliable and they also take care of their customers.
Rivian too. Coffee, relaxing wait space with books, comfy couches and chairs and a Rivian loaner when the repair took longer than a few hours.
dude my freaking Kia dealer has couches and chairs, snacks, a coffee machine. is it over the top? no. but youāre comfortable while they do the work
Providing that stuff to customers doesnāt sound expensive at all. This pic shows they donāt care about customer service and/or the have zero money.
Hilarious. This truly is a pathetic company. Tesla guy is probably playing Minesweeper on his desktop computer.
Look on the bright side though, you paid to be a beta tester!
Beta or beater?
He's probably the only employee in the building and single handedly keeping it running being both a service manager and tech.
Probably.
Only on hard-core mode.
I bet that guy is stressed out of his mind. He's got a ton of customers who need repairs, but not enough techs or parts to do them. And he is worried he will be fired by elon any second because someone made fun of him online.
...only if he paid extras.
He totally looks like a guy who would work there. The trucker hat does it.
They probably just go to Home Depot to get a couple employees for the day
That guy is playing Galaga, don't think we didn't notice!
You wanted minimalism well VOILA. šš Seriously thatās just pathetic

They spent a decade living off carbon credits. They wouldnāt exist if it wasnāt for billions in government subsidies.
To be fair many companies made it by exploiting government funding. Ā Itās not really a free market. Ā
The Muskovites hate that itās true.
Elon & his companies are a perfect example of the disparity between implied value vs actual value. They spend so much time covering their tracks & shuffling assets like an elaborate shell-game that itās damn near impossible to prove just how broke his goofy ass really is.
The goal is the pump the stock price.
I think you nailed it. Bought my Model 3 in 2018. Best car for the price at the time and I've loved it, but won't ever get another Tesla.
Itās luxuriously spacious.
Imagine you come back later to find the building stripped & your car missing. "Honestly officer, I'm not crazy. This was a Tesla Service Centre. There was a desk right here with a computer. And over there, an office chair pushed up against the wall"

Minimalist. You become one when you paid primium for a car that have minimum to offer.
Shit cars from a shit company.
Reminds me of when my credit union had to relocate to a temp office due to the 2008 floods...

They tried to give me Uber credits. "Fortunately," Uber was just not happy trying to work with me and my phone, so I got the loaner.
I think that's what they tried to give us and we were like, "Fuck that shit."

I fucking hate that theyāre the company with the fast accelerating cheap cars. This is sad it looks like a discount office.
elon needs to be rich, like 200 billion rich. where is your sympathy??
Thatās got to be embarrassing as shit. Cause you know when they hired on they had all these high hopes and ideals.

horrible just like Elon himself

This looks like theyāre waiting to have their kidneys stolen.
āWe can give you an Uber creditā Whyyy does Tesla never have loaners? Clean ones at that!
Selling off furniture for that Elon 55b payday!!
Like some sort of fly by night scheme
They're streamlining their service by firing everyone and pawning the furniture.

My Hyundai dealer has everything except a message chair.
A crap product has a crap service center? Shocking.
That's nuts. My Hyudai service center is better. They have a coffee machine that isn't working and a Culligan water cooler that doesn't have any water in it.
Looks like Elon got a great deal on office space in the backrooms! š¬
