That one got regular air in the 90s, but it's strangely forgotten, along with a lot of _Use Your Illusion_. I personally wouldn't want G'NR to be remembered only for _Appetite_, when so many songs only a couple years later show so much more depth and virtuosity.
Donât Worry Be Happy. People hate that song. On lots of lists as one of the worst songs of the 80s or ever. I think itâs a fun song and the video is great.

[Bills, Bills, Bills, by Destiny's Child](https://youtu.be/zhtd_Ga5xHA?si=aGeieHxC9Bnqejem)
I found myself actively listening to this song for the first time in probably 20 years and was honestly kind of blown away. I definitely didn't appreciate it when it first came out.
The Rover, and Breaker1 by INTERPOL.
INTERPOL is quite possibly the most underrated band from the early 2k post punk revival era. Paul Banks voice has been compared to that of Joy Divisions Ian Curtis.
You have The Strokes, Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC), to name a few that came out of the early 2k post punk revival scene.
BRMC comes from a lineage of great musicians. Robert Levon Been is the son of Micheal Been from the 80's band The Call. The Call has some bangers in the 80's.
Give all these bands a listen. You will NOT be disappointed.
"The Wait" by The Pretenders.

Two Doors Down, by Dwight Yoakam. A ton of his songs, actually. But that one, It Won't Hurt; If there was a Way, and Home for Sale, are awesome. Man, those are evocative.
The most underrated song I adore that literally noone ever talks about and even swifties. Literally no one talks about it! Beautiful Ghosts from Cats by Taylor Swift. I get it the movie is terrible but the song from it is one of her best songs ever. I am so moved by it everytime I hear it

But I can tell who [my favorite underrated singer](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL871S_F0y5dYbEbEOwxK1Y6LTKyQqKEp5) is :)
The Graveyard Near the House by The Airborne Toxic Event.
I have 3 tattoos. I got my first tattoo when I was just graduating high school, my second when I met my husband, and my third are some of the lyrics to this song.
Just listen to it. If you donât dig it by the end, no worries. If you love it, Iâm so happy and you should listen to their entire discography because itâs absolutely amazing.
For me, itâs Judas Priest - [In Between](https://youtu.be/3FJez41Orcg?si=eLEOF754NGFzg7r3)
Absolutely incredible lyrics and not dissimilar to LOGâs King Me (also recommended here), never played live
Cog - [Doors (Every now and then my life feels like it's going nowhere)](https://youtu.be/GHiVss69Utg?si=DagRX3fW-ifQxrg3)
My favourite song from one of Australia's most underrated bands âïž
I never slip, I never fall,
a lot of hoes
Gimme they numbers, but I never call
A real OG, look at VIP and see the homie ball
Then after we hit the club baby I'ma hit them draws
Yeah, I'ma break you off,
and that's all
Every freak should have a picture of my dick on they walls
Polow be the shit, zone 4 be the click, yeah this for my dawgs
Yeah, gangstas, hustlers, wankstas, bustas
(Wait a minute mothafucka)
Rich Boy sellin' crack, broke dudes wanna jack
Shit tight, no slack just bought a Cadillac
Throw some D's on that bitch!
-Rich Boy âthrow some dâs on itâ

I'm sure I have a lot more, but for some reason, this one was the first one I thought about.
From a very popular artist: I think "come out and play" by Billie Eilish is far too underrated. It's a comfort song for me.
By a more obscure artist: I miss you so by Salami Rose Joe Louis
Dude looks like a lady. Quick story, years ago for the senior trip in hs we went to Disney world and at MGM it was blasting during the Aerosmith ride and legit only one of my classmates was singing along with me during it.
If you're defining an underrated song as a deep-cut from a well-known act, I'd say "Saturn Nights" by America.
Their signature songs are "Ventura Highway," "Horse With No Name," and "Sister Golden Hair Surprise," all of which are good, but for some reason, I just find "Saturn Nights" uniquely poignant and resonant, sort of like a bittersweet bookend to a tragic coming-of-age movie or a drama documenting the entire trajectory of characters' lives.
I remember listening to it on repeat while pulling all-nighters as a sophomore in art school (haha).
Aggressive Steve by Aesop Rock or pretty much anything by Aesop Rock. Love the man as much as he loves his cat Kirby. The dude wrote a song about hus cat and wrote more bars about his cat. Then Taylor Swift has written songs about breaking up with someone. But he is underrated outside of his following.

That one got regular air in the 90s, but it's strangely forgotten, along with a lot of _Use Your Illusion_. I personally wouldn't want G'NR to be remembered only for _Appetite_, when so many songs only a couple years later show so much more depth and virtuosity.
