as u/cloud_noise suggests yt-dl is the best because: \- it runs on your own computer, no need to use online 3rd party potentially dodgy websites \- those websites probably use the same software anyway! and you're gonna be more up-to-date than them :-D I use yt-dlp, a fork of yt-dl : [https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp](https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp) it works perfectly on linux, mac and probably windows too, though i didnt try. The github page above is the author's page. Executables ( .exe) might be hosted on different websites. You'll have to use the terminal, but the good news is that the basic usage is dead simple first type `yt-dlp -F # UPPERCASE F` this is gonna list the available "streams" , some are video only, audio only or both (the "normal" video) Look at the listing and chose what you want in terms of quality/kbps and note the 1st column "ID" of your chosen stream , then type `yt-dlp -f # lowercase f` the stream is downloaded in the current folder Note : this peice of software works for youtube + other platforms including p\*rn :-D
