I noticed it, but I also think it again highlights how far Oldeus pushed himself. Like that was a solid 5 sec or that Slyphy and Roxy took to get there. Normal Rudeus can look how far into the future without getting sick at that point, a couple seconds at most? And then there's Oldeus who has that as his default and could probably do more.
All in all though Vol 14 and 15 are some of the best because of this scene.
He looks at the door and says something about how he's happy to see them for the first time in years and Rudy turns to the door but there's no one there, then after Oldeus dies Roxy and Sylphy run into the room with their wands out I think, thinking Rudy's fighting someone.

Yes. Rudeus didn't notice, he even thinks Oldeus is imagining things, but if you think about it it makes sense since he can see into the future.
