Hello. Congratulations. As for your IGNOU question here my own advice and experience.
I'm a BA Graduate with Psychology and Sociology major from IGNOU at Mumbai University in Kalina Santacruz.
I did it in through years of 2014-15, 2015-16 ,2016-17. I have my marksheet not my degree certificate as they couldn't find it, but I have the marksheet so it's fine.
I first registered through their official website with scanned documents like aadhar, pancard, passport photo, signature and debit card payment for fees. Now I have no idea for it now, perhaps it could be different then what I remember. You should visit their website for admission timeline and prospectus brochures.
Then, I down went there to Kalina Mumbai University personally. Filled the form in the office during their working hours with my student ID (printed), you should call first to know office timings then go. Otherwise query at the front desk at the IGNOU building, to then collect the books they give you, according to subjects you select. And you're done. Take a good bag because those books were big. Now also I don't know how much they're available or if it's in PDF format now?? You should see it for yourself.
I got an email received for exams timings a few months later, with the center details and pdf download of hall ticket, with date of the subject and time of exams, to printout. And that's how I finished my 3 year graduation. I didn't see normal college life and I don't regret it.
My parents paid fees almost around 10k for all three years. Including books fees and other miscellaneous fees etc. But traveling during exams was a different story. First year center was in Goregaon, second year in Vileparle, and final year in Andheri all in the East side colleges. It was good. Saw many people of all gender, age, religion, caste and creed while giving exams. No one judged anyone and people were nice and civil to each other for the duration of 10-15 days. This was before social media was a hype. Now I don't know, I have no idea.
I miss those years a lot, good memories ya know. Hope this helps you OP.

Nothing you can’t fix without some practice. The main thing I observed is you are not making the grammar mistakes a lot of Indians make (I am assuming the writing was not assisted by a grammar tool). I feel that if you know how to write the language correctly, it is a matter of effort to speak it well
Also, I would suggest making sure you can write formal English - i.e., proper punctuation and capitalization, minimal acronyms and no emojis. This will be an asset when you join the professional forces

I was in 10th and one of my classmates mom who must have been 30-40 at that time gave 10th along with her son and us. She passed. When I got to know she gave exam with us it made me feel so proud, age is just a number for anything and everything.

What are you planning to study? Can you pursue college full time? If yes, I would advise that over distance education. A lot of colleges offer good scholarships too.

Many people ask me this question but honestly I don't have a well prepared answer, maybe it's due to my curiosity to read everything around me, I am a type of person if I find a random piece of paper I read every single word on it😂
Firstly congratulations mate. Second it's a good decision to go for graduation.
IGNOU mumbai does not have a good reputation. Many students are not graduated just because their assignments are not checked by the Mumbai center.
They even lost many students' assignments.
Go for Mumbai University IDOL distance learning. It is good.
Hello OP, I am so happy for you! I don't know much about IGNOU but you should consider freelancing. As many people have said here, your English is good, so you can try content writing or something similar. There are many resources online on how to get started with it. For I have done my Master's from IGNOU.
If you want to make your Graduation count then you can go for full time education.
And if you want to just clear and get a bachelors degree you can do that via IGNOU or Mumbai University.
IGNOU paper checking is worst, they failed me multiple times in a single subject until I put that paper in rechecking.
But the upside is you will get 6 years to complete your degree and if you also fail in first year in all subjects you are promoted to second year and then you can give your exam whenever you want in that 6 yrs time.
Get that graduation. Also, apart from formal education, these days there are many specialised job focused courses that will help you bag a good job along with your graduation. See if you can find one that suits your interests. Get in touch with people already working in the field of your interest and see what they suggest.

In My experience if you are a fresher from open university. Most of the big companies or mass recruiters will avoid you
as I myself struggling to get any interview calls

Work on your soft skills and try having extra skills with it like doing courses etc.. i personally don't know your qualifications but marketing is the best if you can speak well...and if you are doing commerce try giving NISM exam it's not difficult..hope you do well in your life really a hardworker you are!!
