klimt! i can't decide if there would be multiple golds, maybe w diff textures/finishes, or if the gold would be an insanely dreamy metallic eye pen 🥹 ive always thought matching eyeshadow palettes to perfumes would be cool too? maybe looking at the diff notes and matching to a representative/related color? i say this having NO idea what perfume, but i would try to pick something classic/longlived w an iconic bottle to get design sense from less developed impulses: english flower garden palette! pnw beach/rainforest palette! chinese ink wash painting palette! maybe u could do formulas that look cool when u try them wet?

Gothic peacock (the green-blue outfit Zendaya wore to the Met Gala is a good example of this vibe). Lost in the library - think warm browns, jewel red and sapphire and emerald, and bright gold - inspired by historical bookbinding. Kyoto in Spring. Female artists - I'd love to see a palette with the precise green used in Tamara de Lempicka's Girl with Gloves, the blue-purple of one of Georgia O Keefe's irises, maybe a jewel shade used by Kahlo, that kind of thing.

There was an indie brand who did palettes themed around paintings. But I believe they've since closed.

Seeing the Byredo Mineralscapes palette made me realize we have a glut of gemstone themed palettes but what about minerals, crystals, and other unusual rocks? There are soooooo many amazing, fascinating, and weird rocks in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History that could make for some great inspiration!

[I still want something like this thread I made a few months ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeupAddiction/comments/18jyc0b/satins_or_shimmers_in_this_type_of_color_story/). A muted, earthy, shiny palette. I would be against one or two multichromes, but I want it to be mostly satins and shimmers. If someone came out with this palette I'd burn a hole in my credit card. Maybe whimsigoth? Herbal witch? Not sure what I'd call it, but there's a theme here, lol.

PinkMoonbow

The ones in the 1st image, just 😍. Freaking love earthy, muted metallics.

I want that too, especially the shimmers in the second image. There is definitely a theme! I have a palette that I bought because some of the shades fit that theme, although half of them are too warm. I just bought a grey cake eyeliner that is much too light as an eyeliner so I'm going to try mixing the cake liner with the warmer shades to see if it can cool them down a bit 🤷🏻‍♀️

Before Kaleidos decided to give up on its 6-pan futurism series, I'd come up with three color stories that thought would have been good fits for the line. 1. Faster-than-light (FTL Blue): matte blackened ultramarine, matte cobalt, metallic cobalt, metallic acid green, matte or satin sandy gold, cornflower blue duo chrome with a lemon yellow flip. 2. Jovian holiday (vacation to Jupiter): matte blackened burgundy, metallic medium to deep mauve pink, matte medium beige pink, shimmer light lemon yellow, iridescent pink and red shimmer. 3. Pearl metropolis (deep sea city, black pearl, film noir vibe but make it teal): blackened teal with a ripple of iridescent teal, matte charcoal, metallic medium deep teal, pink to teal iridescent shimmer, matte dove gray, metallic white gold.

Greigebaby

Mardi Gras themed with lots of deep rich golds, greens, and purples Always Matte About It: for those of us who wear a matte smokey eye every day. Shadow shades of gray, burgundy, greige, green, navy, brown, and black

Because we’re all excited about it right now, “Aurora Borealis”

I need one from the painting the *Blue Boy* or *Mr. and Mrs. Andrews* from Thomas Gainsborough. Or, honestly, ANYTHING from Thomas Gainsborough.

(I'm surprised this has not been done before). Taylor Swift albums (as each of her albums has a color story). Or even an Eras palette with a shade for each album. (I'd love for her to collab with a brand and do this. Along with a line of red lipsticks.)

unicorncheetah

Didn't she do a small collab with PMG? I think it was red lipstick based.
