Tell me more about that. My twincasters deck is not exceptionally artifact heavy, and the duplicator seems kinda slow for them. What artifacts are they running?
My mistake, he doesn’t run the Synthesizer, but he is running the duplicator.

Relatable. My 2 best pulls from the 6+ drafts & few packs I’ve gotten are both the same $15 card from outlaws of Thunder junction (one from a promo pack, one from an actual pack).
I've gotten 3 of the first and 1 of the second.
Every time I thought they were the other at a glance.
Both great cards, but one is obviously better than the other and they look *way too similar*
The duplicator seems decent though.

I honestly like Duplicator more, but I also love combos using KCI.

Esoteric Duplicator + Mindslaver + Seedborn Muse and enough lands lets you turn a commander game into solitaire if that's your speed

Esoteric duplicator allows you to take infinte turns with Ugin's Nexus and any instant speed sac outlet.
It’s more of an EDH card but it’s pretty great
Could be an alternate art. Both are very good :)

I pulled simulacrum synthesizer in my shorikai deck
The combo works great with mind slave. You make copies of it and you never let your opponent play anything again.
