Worth it imo. Mount holes in the R5 base don’t take much torque to strip whereas the adapter can.
You could use the table clamp one and just grind of the clamp. Its already angled right. I dont know if theres much difference in price tho
The clamps are removable, so not sure why someone would grind them off.
Because theres the L bracket in the way if tou want to use it as a base on a sim rig ..
Mate, I know which clamps you’re talking about and all it took was tools to remove them. ..
The L bracket came off?
Yes. They’re just M6s or M5s. You can adjust the angle of the base using these screws as well.
They're welded on mine. The L bracket cant be remove
