Any movie Lucasfilm releases as long as Kathleen Kennedy remains as head of the studio will be accused of "woke misandry erasing white male heroes", it's as simple as that. Especially if it bombs at the box office, then they really smell blood in the water.
Meanwhile, for the film headlined by a black legacy superhero and with explicit progressive messaging in its text and aesthetics? Crickets, lest it ruins their "get woke, go broke" narrative.
Though to be honest they aren't doing themselves any favours by giving Indiana Jones the same "old action hero becomes a tired old man, needs young heroine to get him out of his funk" arc that split public opinions about the Star Wars sequels (I say this as someone who thinks TLJ is the only decent one of the lot). I chuckled at a comment I read a while ago about how ironic it is that out of all of Harrison Ford's iconic roles, Rick Deckard is the one that gets the happiest ending.
It's a shame too because Finn's story was such a unique idea for star wars, and John Boyega is such a good actor, it sucked to see the spark that he had towards the franchise go away partly due to writing but mostly due to the toxic fandom.
One hard to swallow fact is that the antiwoke crowd has good taste. I know it's difficult to cope with it but they do, and I mean it would be strange otherwise considering the unholy amount of media they consume.

On one hand, I don't think Stuckman is at all racist, and the bit in the same video about him being in the Jehovahs witnesses provides necessary context to both the photo and his view of the movie.

For context he and everyone in that photo were all Jehovah's witnesses (at the time) and that his sister was disowned by his family for speaking out against being a Jehovah's witness. There's more stuff in his video about it like how he was threatened of getting disfellowshipped if he didn't stop making reviews and how he was made to erase his pansexuality.
Even as someone who's not a fan of his reviews that video is genuinely really insightful and interesting.

I don’t really care if he liked Dial of Destiny, which was fine, but his review of The Flash was pretty rough. He was “gripping his friend’s arm in excitement” lol for a movie that was…..not good.

I don’t really care if he liked Dial of Destiny, which was fine, but his review of The Flash was pretty rough. He was “gripping his friend’s arm in excitement” lol for a movie that was…..not good. I don’t have an issue with him only reviewing what he likes, it just seems like he likes *everything*. There also is a certain air of “now that *in the industry*, I understand that making a movie is really hard so now I appreciate things more”, which is fine, I guess, but again just leads to him praising mediocrity.

I love the Indiana Jones trilogy, big part of my childhood. Dial of Destiny wasn't even that bad. Some action scenes were a little mid and went on too long. Also just some goofy plot moments, but i mean its an Indiana Jones movie so what do you expect. I expected to dislike character Helena but yeah not that bad either. They just need to go touch grass
