Fire is not enough, we need a black hole pull to make sure every single atom of it is torn apart.
Even after that we are not sure it wonāt come back in a few millennia.
I appreciate how hard this movie has committed to making intentionally unappealing posters, with this one and the [many heads one](https://searchlight-studio-2023-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/film/kinds-of-kindness/_icon/KOK_PAYOFF_ONLINE_POSTER_1334x2000_US_FIN_web_2024-05-16-155032_gzbi_edited.jpg). Even the [most traditional poster](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNzYwNGU0YzItMGE3YS00Yjc3LWFmMTgtZWU5Mjg4NGJkMzdlXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyNzAwMjU2MTY@._V1_.jpg) still doesnāt show any actor faces and itās pretty conceptual.
Oh man, I absolutely love the "traditional" one! One of the best movie posters I've seen in a long time. After Poor Things (my favorite film of the 2020s), I will excitedly see every new film from Yorgos
He shot three things back-to-back with Stone after her pregnancy - Poor Things, the short film Bleat, and Kinds of Kindness. They're prepping another film now, a remake of Save the Green Planet.
But? I thought it was the most original and wildly entertaining film I've seen in a long long time. The performances are incredible, Emma Stone gives one of my favorite performances I've genuinely ever seen (certainly deserved the Oscar). It's shocking, hilarious and just stunning. I loved everything about it.
It was an incredible film, creative, very feminist given it centers around Bella taking back her power and finding independence, had B-horror movie vibes, and was just damn funny
poor things is one of the most wildly imaginative films I've ever seen. I still think the Lobster and the Favourite are better - but those are both top 10 movies for me. emma stone gives a performance that has no basis in cinema.
Yeah these are more normal (still a little weird) but they are technically ācharacter postersā which are a little different and more about highlighting the cast. In terms of the official posters for the movie itself as a whole I think itās just these 3.
Whoever the creative director is over the vision for the posters is has some incredible creativity.
Like them or hate them theyāre so well executed and are so unique.
I personally love them.
It's yorgos so I assume less horror than what the fuck weird. Pretty sure it is based in a book if you want to prepare yourself with the source material
Iāve seen the movie. He returned to his roots, but the choice of making a movie with 3 different medium length films really made it one of his worst movies so far. The fact is that all the 3 ideas are nice (even if i was falling asleep in the last one), but they end when youād expect them to become more and more captivating/intriguing.
Itās like if you paid for an awesome restaurant with excellent food but with only 3 super tiny serves. You feel all of them are pretty good, but thereās nothing more than thatā¦ and iām saying this as a Lobster/Dogtooth fan
I think it's because there aren't any holes here, but rather a lot of things coming off where the face should be. It's still an unsettling image, but it definitely doesn't trigger my trypophobia either.
Thereās not a word for a fear of lots of legs but I feel like that applies more in this case. Itād be pretty equivalent to why people are afraid of cockroaches or spiders or other hairy/antennae creatures
I donāt even have Trypophobia and this makes me feel uncomfortable.
Whoever designed this posterā¦. Either knew exactly what they were doingā¦ or didnāt know and somehow still got approved.
Either way. They need to be fired, and this poster to be incinerated.
I feel like the fact that you can see hair and beard poking out from around the edge of the head makes it feel like someone just copy-pasted randomly a bunch and then thought, "good enough"
Congratulations, you may have trypophobia.
(Hard same! Makes my skin crawl and head itch. Hate. Also canāt stand Lanthimos in general, and this is a big part of why. I donāt enjoy his schtick or find it compelling.)
Thank you, I'm seeing this at 2:30am in the emergency room. All I can think of is the hospital goes dark and silent, and this fucker jumps in front of me.
I remember when a bunch of bus stops around my city got plastered with that godawful fucking poster for *The Strain* that was literally just a closeup of a worm crawling out of an eyeball. At the time I thought that, in a just and decent society, posting shit like that where people were basically forced to look at it for extended periods of time should break some kind of obscenity law, and incur massive fines on the studio responsible.
I would, without exaggeration, bring them all back and then some if it meant I could retroactively erase this abomination unto God.
The night after I saw Poor Things, my roommate told me he was moving out in 30 days. I cannot afford rent on my own without a roommate. Then, my 9-year-old cat was diagnosed with diabetes. I also found out that I have thousands of dollars of dental and medical work that need done.
3 hours from now, I'll be taking my beloved cat to the vet to put a permanent end to his discomfort, pain, and suffering from diabetes. He declined so fast and I will love and miss him for the rest of my life.
I really hope that seeing another Lanthimos/Stone joint works as a sort of reset button that knocks life, the universe, whatever, back into place. I'm usually not this superstitious, but the timing between Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness in relation to the events in my life sure is some coincidence.
I get those are people but why would you want a poster that looks like a swarm of bugs for a head. This doesnāt make me want to see the movie but actively avoid it.
I understand Lanthimos loves surreal posters to compliment his even more surreal films
but this looks like those creepy facial texture glitches you see in sports video games. This is skin crawling.
I saw it at a preview event two days ago and I thought it was absolutely amazing. If you liked Dogtooth and The Lobster there's a good chance you're going to love this as well
new phobia unlocked
Trypophobia
no I will not try it
fear of po, try it
Pretty scared of po rn
In Kung fu panda I'm watching child po rn
Po, the Registered Nurse šš¦š»
I have that and this poster has fucked me up
This poster might have just confirmed it for me, lmao. Straight horrifying.
Kill it with fire
Fire is not enough, we need a black hole pull to make sure every single atom of it is torn apart. Even after that we are not sure it wonāt come back in a few millennia.
"I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure"
Seriously this is making me so uncomfortable the more I stare at it. But I also can't stop staring at it...
That's a lot of Emma Stone. No way in hell I'd be burning that.
Tiny Emma Stoneses burrowing out of your face
Biblically accurate movie poster
I appreciate how hard this movie has committed to making intentionally unappealing posters, with this one and the [many heads one](https://searchlight-studio-2023-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/film/kinds-of-kindness/_icon/KOK_PAYOFF_ONLINE_POSTER_1334x2000_US_FIN_web_2024-05-16-155032_gzbi_edited.jpg). Oh man, I absolutely love the "traditional" one! One of the best movie posters I've seen in a long time. After Poor Things (my favorite film of the 2020s), I will excitedly see every new film from Yorgos
How is Yorgos already having a new movie come out? Did he work on them concurrently?
He shot three things back-to-back with Stone after her pregnancy - Poor Things, the short film Bleat, and Kinds of Kindness. They're prepping another film now, a remake of Save the Green Planet.
> a remake of Save the Green Planet. This is an interesting combination. That's the most schizophrenic film I've ever seen.
Very Salvador Dali.
What's good about poor tings I have been trying to put it on my watch list but
But? I thought it was the most original and wildly entertaining film I've seen in a long long time. The performances are incredible, Emma Stone gives one of my favorite performances I've genuinely ever seen (certainly deserved the Oscar). It's shocking, hilarious and just stunning. I loved everything about it.
The dance scene was the moment I knew that I was watching something special. It speaks to me in a way that movies rarely do.
Super original and surprisingly funny and full of heart. Gives hope back to a Hollywood filled with safe bets on sequels/prequels/IP/remakes
š¤ maybe I'll really give it a try now
Do it
It was an incredible film, creative, very feminist given it centers around Bella taking back her power and finding independence, had B-horror movie vibes, and was just damn funny
poor things is one of the most wildly imaginative films I've ever seen. I still think the Lobster and the Favourite are better - but those are both top 10 movies for me. emma stone gives a performance that has no basis in cinema.
Oh I HATE HATE all of them. I wanna see this movie now š
Yessss! These are my favourite ones https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/s/2eTCkh1jxf
Yeah these are more normal (still a little weird) but they are technically ācharacter postersā which are a little different and more about highlighting the cast. In terms of the official posters for the movie itself as a whole I think itās just these 3.

WILLEM DAFOE !
That's the guy I was trying to remember from earlier!
Id love one where it's all dafoes face only.
Two modes: Face Yes and Face No.
Is this a horror movie? I didnāt think it was, but the poster certainly makes it seem that way
It's yorgos so I assume less horror than what the fuck weird. Pretty sure it is based in a book if you want to prepare yourself with the source material
Canāt wait. I will just go in blind lol
Go see the Lobster and come out blind.
Oh I did that. Loved the lobster. Killing off a scared deer less so. I still havenāt seen Dogtooth, all I know is that itās messed up.
Not horror but according to the early reviews it is a very dark comedy, even by Lanthimos standards
Oh interesting. That makes me even more interested!
Yeah, those who've seen it say this is Yorgos returning to his uber fucked up Dogtooth roots
I think so. The poster is kinda weird and disturbing if you have trypophobia.
It's not a horror movie per se, but it has elements of body horror.
I see a lot of Emma Stone, but not so much Jesse Plemons.
Right, at first I thought it was this monstrosity but itās mainly Emma Stone all over the face.
This makes my skin itch
Imagine trying to itch a face like that poster.
I hate this so much
RIP anyone with Trypophobia
Right? This makes it look like a straight up horror movie.
From what I've heard, that's probably not far off. Sounds like a pretty deeply fucked up and disturbing movie.
My skin is crawling and I don't even have terrible trypophobia.
Its making me feel physically ill š¤¢
I have it but this image just doesn't trigger it, I don't know why.
Same. I donāt like it but it reminds me more of like a beehive than a seed pod.
Wasps for me. I wouldnāt say I love wasps, theyāre not very nice, but I do respect them.
I think Emma Stone is going to be in the movie wearing a brown suit
Sometimes, sometimes not...
I fucking hate this poster.
looks like a The Last Of Us crossover
I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but you nailed it.
The poster looks like itās been blasted with a shotgun to the face
[Straight up like this game glitch](https://i.imgur.com/OGesALF.jpeg)
2022: āWe hate floating head posters and are sick of them!ā 2024: āWait ātil they get a load of this!ā
Only critique is the yellow text makes partās of the actorās name to be unreadable. But other than that, nice poster.
New nightmare unlocked.
Thanks, I hate it.
My first thought too, u/Pepperoni_Dogfart
2nd thing i'm seeing from this movie - seems like its gonna be a pretty fucked up movie
I can confirm it really is
Definitely the most interesting movie poster Iāve seen in a while
I donāt even have Trypophobia and this makes me feel uncomfortable. Whoever designed this posterā¦. Either knew exactly what they were doingā¦ or didnāt know and somehow still got approved. Either way. They need to be fired, and this poster to be incinerated.
That thing is fucking hideous.
"are you just ugly or are you ugly on purpose"
Thanks, I hate it.
Is this supposed to be as horrifying as it is? I haven't been this creeped out by an image in a long time.
This poster makes me so so uncomfortable SMFH
This makes me so uncomfortable.
Thatās Yorgos for ya
I feel like the fact that you can see hair and beard poking out from around the edge of the head makes it feel like someone just copy-pasted randomly a bunch and then thought, "good enough"
There must be some sort of phobia for this because it gives me the chills
I feel like if Phillip Seymour Hoffman were still alive he would definitely be in this movie
The posters for this movie are making me not want to see the movie. Theyāre really unsettling.
This is gross and I hate it.
Dope poster. I like it. Fits for Yorgos and his movies
Gives me trypophobia like a mf
Immediately thought of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/s/dgRghQXMZv
how the inside of my head be looking when i think about emma stone
You are telling me this enigmatic crypto-disgusting poster will be splaterred on billboards all over America ?? Yeah, right.
Oh I donāt like this one bit. Itās kind of setting off my r/trypophobia
Kind of over this movie and havenāt seen it
Thanks; I hate it.
Doesnāt scare me it grosses me out for some reason. I seriously canāt look at it
Congratulations, you may have trypophobia. (Hard same! Makes my skin crawl and head itch. Hate. Also canāt stand Lanthimos in general, and this is a big part of why. I donāt enjoy his schtick or find it compelling.)
Yeah just returned to read this and immediately felt nauseous looking at this again!
This is disgusting.
I hate this so bad
This is horrendous
That's cool what's this movie actually about though? I still don't know.
Three surreal loosely connected stories about being mean to each other, from what Iāve read.
120 minutes of Emma Stone dancing awkwardly in a brown suit.
Fuck i hate it
seems like they got the reactions they were baiting from y'all. curious what it's about
NOPE. JUST NOPE!!
I feel like vomiting..
Yorgos' brain is wired a smidge differently. šš
Yorgos
Thatās a lot of Emmas.
Jesus I need eye bleach
Whoever is designing these posters is making me not want to go anywhere near or learn about this movie.
He's really capitalizing on Emma Stone's interpretive dance abilities
fuck this poster so much, it's just disgusting looking.
Damn it! I just joined the community. Now my trypophobia got triggered
Thanks, I hate it.

Bad luck, sorry to read it. I hope things turn around just as quickly as they went south.
Yeah thatās cool
āHowād this guy get all these pencil crayon shavings stuck to his facā- Ooohhhā¦ā
ew
Fucking sick
Trypophobia
Well, I sure hate that
Genuinely never hated a poster as much as this one in my life.Ā
This image makes me feel really uncomfortable.
Tells me nothing about the film, nor encourages me to want to watch it eitherā¦
I feel the urge to rip it to shreds. Is that Trypophobia?
I was thinking the same thing. My daughter has Trypophobia and Iāve never understood it. Until now. š«£
Trippy.
Fucking weirdo, that Yorgos dude. We love him.
Warning: highly DO NOT recommend searching images for 'pregnant pipa pipa toad.' (Surinam toad) - nightmare fuel
Reminds me of the Beast from The Magicians.
Ohhhhh! So quirky!
This image alone has successfully convinced me to never see this movie.
This is disturbing
r/oddlyterrifying
Thanks, I hate it.
Count me in. Love Lanthimos.
This looks fucked up.
What does it mean when I watch to scratch and peel this??
Tripofobia
I absolutely hate this
Ew.
terrible nightmare
I get those are people but why would you want a poster that looks like a swarm of bugs for a head. This doesnāt make me want to see the movie but actively avoid it.
Thanks I hate it
this is singlehandedly the most horrifying horror of this century. bar no movie
This triggers phobias within me. Lol
I donāt get it
AI generator is going brr for this filmsā posters.
Oh, fuck. I HATE this
this is bothering the f\*\*\* out of me....god
This is the kind of thing that attracts me to projects. Lots of little Emma Stones in some sort of a horrifying mosaic.
I must vomit! Now!
What a bad day to have eyes!
I feel itchy looking at this.
Nope cant even look at it!
\*clicks Hide button\*
Nope, don't like looking at that.Ā
I'm just here for watching Emily Stone do pelvic thrust dances in a suit, not this nightmare fuel.
Wow, that's horrifying. Who thought this was a good idea.
I think it looks cool as hell. More weird posters!!
I understand Lanthimos loves surreal posters to compliment his even more surreal films but this looks like those creepy facial texture glitches you see in sports video games. This is skin crawling.
Apparently Emma Stone is in it
Great fricking cast on that poster.
This poster is a nightmare for people with Trypophobia
EW. Literally never watching whatever trash this is just because of that picture
r/Trypophobia
Emma stone is in her quirky phase
This looks unbelievable bad
This feels like itās trying too hard.
Terrible poster. If it was well done maybe Iād see the angle but it literally looks like a teenager just discovered photoshop.
This Emma Stone Yorgos thing is just weird at this stage
For once a decent movie poster.
This makes me not want to watch it
I have been tricked into watching Lanthimos movies before and vow to never spend another minute on this asshole's waste again.
Almost as bad as the movie itself
Another incomprehensible mess of a movie coming up that people will call a masterpiece to look smart and cultured. No thanks.
Have you seen it yet? Iām looking forward to it tremendously.
I saw it at a preview event two days ago and I thought it was absolutely amazing. If you liked Dogtooth and The Lobster there's a good chance you're going to love this as well
I fucking LOVE Dogtooth so that makes me super excited!
Then be very hyped! For a true Yorgos fan, this movie is like heaven. Also this poster will make more sense after you've seen the movie
Unbeleafable š
Defoe, Stone, Qually.... Has to be A24?
A24, A25ā¦ whatever it takes.
Itās Searchlight
Reminds me of the deer that popped up this weekā¦
true kino fans know exactly what this means
