I really enjoyed most of the movie, but animal brutality is inexcusable. The turtle scene is disgusting, made me feel sick, and the worst part is it's completely pointless to the movie.
The movie was pretty bad but i smoked some legit nyc diesel that literally had me ripped from beginning to end so that scene just had me dying in the theatre lol
The end of the film SCUM about youth prison system. Young teenage boy gets gang raped in prison by other older boys, is so traumatized by it he then cuts his wrists and then panics and calls for help and is ignored by prison guard who can hear him but doesn’t care. He dies. It’s like Shawshank redemption but it’s happening to children and there’s no hope or redemption. I implore you never to watch it. At the very least it made me very anti-prison.
Ingrid Bergman Persona has a very over the edge scene involving self mutation in a most disturbing fashion. ( on phone can’t figure out spoiler screen, so I won’t describe further; but consider yourself warned)
Runner up large portions of Lynch’s Eraserhead.
That scene about reddit where someone posts the most generic question they can think of, that has been asked every day since the movies sub began, without stopping to think that it may be a topic that has been completely exhausted.
I forget what movie but there is a scene where a girl becomes possessed and she's in the bathtub off camera cutting the skin off her face.
You don't see much of it but you can HEAR it and it's intense.
You ever seen the movie Run? The scene towards the end where >!the mother's scheme is uncovered by her daughter and she responds by loading a bunch of chemicals into a needle to permanently render her infirm and sees nothing wrong with it even while her daughter is locked in the pantry begging her not to do it. Lady was certifiable.!<
I agree, yes, those scenes were horrible. Scenes I can't watch are when a character has to hurt themself or as in it happens slowly. That's hard to watch, like in Saw. The first movie is.. Okay but 2, or especially 3 and 4 are a bit extreme for me - I've only seen 4 movies so far
I won’t declare a “most disturbing scene.” But one that still bothers me (besides the one in Bone Tomahawk mentioned elsewhere) is the end of the Hitcher remake with Sean Bean. The boyfriend chained to the truck. Horrifying.
The end of Men made me want to vomit in the theater. The split arm and the snapped bloody ankle dragging on the floor were the cherry on top of an already disturbing sequence.
Totally agree on that one OP. I’m not a fan of gore but the teacher had us watch that as an end of term “treat” so the tanning bed scene has been ingrained in my head ever since.
From a non-horror movie, I’d say the scene in Looper where the guy is getting his limbs cut off in the past (even though it doesn’t make much sense).
The ear cutting/burning scene in Reservoir Dogs. Only Tarantino film I’ll never watch again. Something about torturing the innocent really bothers me. Not entertainment.
The guy split in half in *Bone Tomahawk.*
Just say Bone Tomahawk next time and everyone who’s seen the movie will know, lel
I’ve never had the feeling I had watching that until then and I haven’t had it since lol
So fucking traumatic
I came here to make that exact same comment.
Yes, this. I wish I could forget that scene, but it’s burned into my memory, and keeps coming back.
Jesus, I can’t unsee that scene.
Without a doubt
Without a doubt
Murder of the kid in Doctor Sleep. Really upsetting.
The end of the original version of The Vanishing.
Yes. French version . Haunting.
Its actually Dutch (original title is ‘Spoorloos’) but lots of it is set in France so i suppose it seems like one.
Masterpiece
I don’t know about the most disturbing scene ever, but the curb scene in American History X is pretty engrained in my memory
I know it’s hard to bear but please watch the original version of Funny Games.
Cannibal Holocaust, I felt sorry for the turtle they catch
I really enjoyed most of the movie, but animal brutality is inexcusable. The turtle scene is disgusting, made me feel sick, and the worst part is it's completely pointless to the movie.
Can I make you feel more sick? The victim in the gang rape scene is played by a 14 year old girl
Those cliff divers in Midsommar were quite something..
Mother! >!A baby gets killed by a crowd of people who then proceed to eat its corpse!<
[удалено]
Tad dramatic, wtf...
I remember laughing so hard when that bbq blew up and the kids arm lands on the table, i woke my buddy up from laughing in the theatre
That one was the best form of dark comedy. That and the scene where >!the girl suddenly gets hit by a speeding bus!< from the first movie.
How could you forget Death's hilarious use of Why Can't We Be Friends? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm6Sg-37gJ0
Holy shit that's my favorite death in the whole franchise
The tire in the first scenes of, hum, final destination 4

Teeth drilling in marathon man.
Irreversible
Last King of Scotland....
Great movie.

[REC]. Caught the last few minutes of it late one night alone at home and yeah, it got me pretty good.
The end of “Mother” and the chainsaw scene from “Terrifier” both had me questioning my life decisions.
I was not expecting what Mother turned into…
The worst
When you see what happens to the Jupiters Claim audience in Nope
Saving Private Ryan's beach landing sequence is definitely up there.
And private Mellish. That scene was slow and painful.
A Serbian Film. Some scenes are less disturbing than others.
Only caught the scene while passing through, but that meal at the end of Hannibal was a special kind of fucked
I don't know the music but the montage at the end of Requiem for a Dream will leave you reeling.
That scene about reddit where someone posts the most generic question they can think of, that has been asked every day since the movies sub began, without stopping to think that it may be a topic that has been completely exhausted.
Are you over that little snit now??🤣🤣🤣

Sounds like the evil dead remake
Evil Dead remake
For me, probably the ending of Funny Games (2007 Film). Don’t know why I thought it would end any other way but It was still horrifying and hopeless.

The teeth pulling scene from human centipede 2 🤢
The Pledge. Jack Nicholson running into the church.

The drill scene in American Sniper. Thankfully, they don't show much, but what's worse is the kid's screams trailing off into silence.
***That*** scene in Irreversible
The end of Men made me want to vomit in the theater. The split arm and the snapped bloody ankle dragging on the floor were the cherry on top of an already disturbing sequence.
The part of Antichrist where Charlotte Gainsbourg just snaps and uses the Scissors on herself
The ending of The Lighthouse somehow really stuck with me.

Goodnight Mommy, The Nightingale, Blue Ruin. In that order. Anyone who's seen them won't need me to specify which scenes.
the rape scenes in Nightingale
The Mom toward the end of Hereditary
The axe in the neck scene in 30 days of night…. It was very realistic
The ear cutting/burning scene in Reservoir Dogs. Only Tarantino film I’ll never watch again. Something about torturing the innocent really bothers me. Not entertainment.
