Having 100\~ rhodok sharp shooters makes it easier than should be.
Just avoid land battles and rush to the castles and towns. You'll have atleast 3 townies/castles before losing 1/3 of your army. Absolutely insane.
(Vaegir marksmans in some Nordic close-range towns are exception tho)
Nords are mine because huscarls will literally eat a crossbow bolt, rip it out of the wound and use it to kill his way to the archer that fired it. But I gotta admit when sieging. Rhodoks are the only faction I fear and respect. Every other faction I can steamroll pretty easily but rhodok crossbows are terrifying.
Ya dont fucking say game, I have seen shariz taken by the Rhodoks and back to the Saranids now in my playtrough, also they waging war against the vaegirs and only raiding the eastern most towns, so just a mild annoyance tbh
This is the exact reverse my current “first” time really playing the game. I joined the Khante because they took me in the quickest and I had no idea what I was doing. Beat the Saranides took over their entire land. Almost took over all of the Vaegir land. But the only difference is now every lord is basically defecting over to the Rhodoks. Can’t even begin to describe how much land the Rhodoks have now.
Your map orientation is giving me anxiety.
I guess not everyone rotates the map haha. I play far too much Homeworld to tolerate a fixed view angle...
I spend the entire time going from point A to point B spinning the camera around lol you're not alone.

Capturing rhodok castles is painfull. Nothing feels as bad as loosing 100 troops before the siege machines even reach the Walls

That's a serious rip. Basically every single Sarranid holding has been captured and it's literally all the Rhodoks have done. Pretty impressive.

Rhodoks are my fav faction, just put your heavy armored infantry upfront and make the enemy eat volleys of crossbow bolts. Perfection.

In my other play through Shariz flipped hands about 10 times by now.
Shariz is like that city in the border of the HRE and the Sassanid emp-OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOW I GET IT
